QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
Unfortunately, we do not have a sound scientific basis for consensus as to when individual life begins. I am pro-life (life is precious), and yet I am also pro-choice (my body my choice - but is this only my body). The challenge is when does individual life begin... many believe conception; others say heartbeat; others say viability. Who is correct? Who knows. I believe a heartbeat is evidence of another life, perhaps even conception. Should we not err on the side of life?
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Disagree
This is a biased question because it presumes that the government should define how abortions should be done. Killing the unborn using chemicals... really... is the question whether or not the government should specify how to do this properly, and whether the outcomes should be tracked or not? Government should protect the right to life, not figure out the best way to terminate new life.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Government should never help to kill the unborn. This is crazy. Let's try following the Constitution and Declaration. We the People never authorized the federal government to use one penny of our money to support any "planning" to prevent parenthood. Government is in the business of protecting the right to life not taking taxpayer money to end life or prevent parenthood.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Having the government helping to legitimize killing people is a very dangerous idea. This is what the nazi government did... to get rid of "useless" people. I am all for minimizing pain and comforting those in transition, but "euthanasia" is just a fancy word for murder, and encouraging murder and suicide is not the proper function of government.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. The function of government is to protect individual Rights, not to control our religious, educational, or economic institutions. We need to re-establish religious freedom, educational freedom, medical freedom, and the free-enterprise system in general. The progressive movement, which was a reaction to the greed of the "robber barons" of the late-19th century, was the wrong way to solve the real problem of monopolistic capitalism. We need to end monopolies not freedom.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
I do not think government should be telling individuals and businesses what services to provide or not and to whom. The function of government is to protect individual rights, not run our lives. We must stop thinking that government knows best. Let the people decide for themselves. Let freedom ring!
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
The CCP is an on-going threat to the American Dream, as are all totalitarian systems. However, the greatest threat we face is from globalists in our own country and elsewhere who have been supporting communism throughout the world in order to destroy American values and institutions dating back to the failed Russian revolution of 1905. Those who fail to learn from history are doomed to repeat it. We need true educational freedom so we can learn our true history.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Our relationship with all other nations, including Israel, is important, because we should always strive for peaceful co-existence with all other nations, but never at the expense of our own national security, and never in violation of our Constitution.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
(D) All federal taxpayer funded healthcare is unconstitutional. Every legislator swears an oath to follow the US and GA constitutions. An oath is an oath, and in Georgia, willful failure to support the Constitution is a felony. I care deeply about others and want nothing but the best healthcare for all, but this is not the function of government. I support a free-enterprise healthcare model, in which the collective wisdom of the people produces the highest quality, lowest cost solutions.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never. The Right of bodily autonomy (i.e. "my body my choice") is the most fundamental right we have. Why is it that so many "pro-choice" advocates are also for vaccine mandates? This is a contradiction. We need MEDICAL FREEDOM... period.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
The American Dream is founded upon the principles of limited government and free enterprise, and the Right to private property is essential in the free-enterprise system. The rise of crony-capitalism in the 2nd half of the 19th century, and the ever-increasing monopolistic capitalism of the 20th and early 21st centuries may destroy the American Dream. We must return to the best economic system ever conceived by man - the free-enterprise system.
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Minimum wage laws are the wrong way to solve the very real problem of low wages. In a true free-enterprise system in which government prevents monopolist practices, workers can easily start new businesses to prevent exploitation by greedy employers.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
If individuals and businesses cleaned up after themselves there would be no justification for ESG ratings. ESG is the wrong solution to a real problem... corporate malfeasance. Why not simply follow our Constitution and hold businesses responsible for the harm they cause to our environment, to employees, and to shareholders. We do need corporate reform but not through "woke" ESG ratings. Let's define the problems correctly before attempting to solve them.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Our border is not secure and has not been for several decades. We have allowed globalist immigration policies to erode our national security since 1965. This is a disgrace. Our Constitution requires that all invasions be repelled, and the failure to do this is an act of treason.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Disagree
Originally, America had true educational freedom, the best system in the world. Ever since the unconstitutional government takeover of education, which started in the 1840's, and accelerated in the early 1900's, literacy rates have plummeted, and we increasingly have state funded indoctrination, not education. The purpose of government is to protect individual Rights, not run our lives. Rather than "state funded education," we need a plan for getting government out of the education business.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
One of the main ways that government fulfills its proper function of securing individual Rights is via local law enforcement. We should never defund our local police, and we should immediately de-militarize all local law enforcement. We must never allow our local law enforcement to become a national police force, like what happened in Nazi Germany and Soviet Russia, or like what is going on now in Communist China and in all other totalitarian regimes.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Gun ownership is not incompatible with public safety any more than automobile ownership would be incompatible with driving safety. Only those who misuse guns should have gun restrictions imposed upon them, just as only those who misuse automobiles should be restricted from driving. Furthermore, we do not prevent bad drivers from owning a car, but rather we only restrict their driving privileges on public roads until they are redeemed. The same should be true with guns.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
We are so conditioned as a society to believe that government should decide how to run our schools. A better question would be should government be deciding what schools and teachers should or should not be able to do in general. The answer of course, is no way. Let's remove government from the education business as per the Constitution, and let schools decide what their policies are, and let parents or adult students decide which schools to attend, based on transparency and informed consent.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
I agree with the Founders who signed our Declaration of Independence... the purpose of government is simply to "secure our rights" and not to run our lives.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Unfortunately, we seem to be a society of "labels" which probably divides us more than helps us. During the 18th century I would be labeled "liberal" because I value liberty; now as "conservative" since we have moved so far away from the Constitution and the idea of limited government that anyone who thinks we should follow the Constitution (the law) is labeled an extreme "conservative." Actually, in GA at least, any willful failure by elected officials to follow the Constitution is a felony.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
If we don't stop this child abuse, the American Dream will cease to exist starting with the next generation. Children are not allowed to decide on their own whether or not to drink alcohol, smoke, drive a car, etc., but we adults are expected to let them decide to skip puberty or cut off their genitals because it is fashionable at government-run schools. This is madness.
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Parents, as a rule, have a far greater interest in the well-being of their children than any state ever has. It is sad that this is even an issue in America. It is high time to get the state out of the parenting business in America. Government should only have the authority to intervene in provable cases of parental child abuse, and in such cases, only to protect individual rights, not to over-rule parents whose values do not fit in with the latest DEI/SEL social engineering theories.
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Absolutely not. The purpose of government is to protect God-given individual rights, not take money from the people to provide healthcare services to gender-confused individuals, especially for elective surgery. The U.S. Constitution does not authorize the spending of one dime of taxpayer money on healthcare. In Georgia, it is a felony to willfully not follow and support the Constitution. An oath is an oath. When we restore the Constitution, we can drastically lower taxes.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
Many people think marriage is God-ordained union between a man and a woman, and I tend to agree. But the real issue is whether or not government should get involved. I see marriage as more of a spiritual/religious matter and would like to have the state stay out of it entirely. The state should not define marriage one way or the other. Furthermore, with the free-enterprise system fully restored, there would be no income taxes, and the issue of state dictated marriage benefits would go away.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in the existence of the one all-powerful all-loving God, the Creator of Man. I believe that wisdom is to love God and to love and be honest with others and help others as best we can. I also believe we should be kind to animals and clean up after ourselves and take care of our planet, but I don't believe in the climate crisis hoax (climate change is four seasons every year and carbon is essential for life on earth). I value truth, love, freedom, honesty, justice, personal responsibility, accountability, and courage. I also believe the best way to promote these virtues is by limiting government to its proper function of protecting individual Rights equally, without favoritism or special privileges for any individual or group.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Consent of the governed means honest and secure elections, and it is essential that we are able to accurately distinguish between citizens who are eligible to vote in our elections and those who are not. No one complains about requiring photo ID for purchasing alcohol or boarding an airplane. Eliminating the photo ID requirement for voting only makes cheating easier. Photo identification is required in order to confirm the identity of those who seek to vote in our elections.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
Our Founders set up the electoral college for a good reason, and human nature has not changed in the last 250 years.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism goes against the very foundation of the American Dream as expressed in our great Declaration of Independence, which declares as self-evident that "all men are created equal." That being said, the persistent "race-baiting" which is promoted by much of our corporate media and others who seek to destroy the American Dream, is a form of racism. America is the great melting-pot. This hateful race-baiting must be seen for what it is, an attempt to divide and turn Americans against each other.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT promotes racial victim consciousness, which is a racist and hateful attempt to insult minorities and project racism onto the white majority. The real racists are those intellectuals and radicals who constantly push CRT in our schools and media in order to divide us against each other to destroy the very institutions who employ and support them. Racism in any form, including CRT, is harmful and divisive, and should be opposed by all liberty- and justice-loving Americans.
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
There are only two genders, male and female, and there are very clear differences between the two, including size, strength, and the ability to reproduce. As a society, we males should use our strength to protect women, not to abuse them. This issue is being used to divide and conquer; it has nothing to do with true justice or human rights. Women should be protected from predatory men who seek to violate protected female spaces or who cannot compete in men's sports.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
We should protect our environment. However, "climate change" is either four seasons every year or a propaganda campaign orchestrated by a small group of billionaires and others who seek to terrify the masses in order to justify economic and political tyranny in order to end the American Dream and replace it with a single world government under their total control by the year 2030. Our environmental and energy policy should be... energy independence and everyone must clean up their own mess.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
I believe the best energy source is human ingenuity, and that the government should follow the Constitution for a change and stay out of the energy business, and let the free enterprise system resolve this. This means no subsidizing the EV industry.
