For the federal government, adhere to the enumerated powers of Congress in Article I Section 8 of the U.S. Constitution. Stop Foreign Aid, abolish most departments of the federal government, and stop federal grants to the states. On the state level: prioritize essential government functions such as law enforcement and safety; stop funding of special-interest perks and creation of frivolous Commissions to study matters not related to the general purpose of government.
