QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Abortion should not be legal as it kills innocent, human life. If the mother's life is at risk, try to save them both by premature delivery.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Taxes should be greatly reduced. Most people I talk to feel taxes are burdensome and the economy is the number one complaint.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
No taxpayer money should be given to any abortion providers. No taxpayer money should be given to other countries when we have such terrible debt. Money should not be spent paying people not to work. A short-term hand up or helping people out is one thing; but supporting them indefinitely needs to be changed.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
While we had some grants and some college assistance, we paid for most of our college degrees and never once thought to ask neighbors for help. And we never thought of demanding the government to pay for it with taxpayer money.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. Churches should not be closed. People should be free to worship God.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We should build up our military to be the strongest in order to deter terrorism.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration should be done legally and at a pace that can reasonably be absorbed.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I homeschooled about 6 years. In addition, we paid for private Christian School. Not only did we pay for public school through our taxes, we also paid for the private education as well. This needs to be changed as it is not fair.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Choose not to answer
While we should not discriminate, there needs to be exemptions for religious organizations and conscience protections.
iVoterGuide Notes:
After the survey deadline the candidate informed iVoterGuide that they intended to answer this question strongly disagree. The candidate wrote, " I STRONGLY DISAGREE. I DO NOT SUPPORT ADDING GENDER IDENTITY AS A SPECIALLY PROTECTED CLASS. AND, IF THERE ARE ANY LAWS MADE TO DO SO, THERE NEEDS TO BE EXEMPTIONS FOR RELIGIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND FOR CONSCIENCE PROTECTION. "
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian, Woman of Faith
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
We need: Photo IDs, Voter ID Requirements, Paper ballots, Counting should be bipartisan and transparent. Any electronic machines should not be connected to the internet. Ballot Drop Boxes should not be legal. Voting Registries should be updated often, at least monthly. Counting votes should not be stopped until finished.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
We need clean air and water, but we need to cut regulations if possible.
iVoterGuide Notes:
After the survey deadline the candidate informed iVoterGuide that they intended to select A. The candidate wrote, "WHILE CLEAN AIR AND WATER IS VERY IMPORTANT, STRICTER ENVIRONMENTAL LAWS AND REGULATIONS COST TOO MANY JOBS AND HURT THE ECONOMY. "
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Choose not to answer
I believe God gave us our resources and they should be used safely. We should not be buying oil and gas from other countries when we have it in our country. We should be energy independent. To not be energy independent is a national security risk, which is not acceptable.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To provide for our safety and national defense, like law enforcement and military.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I choose not to answer. But I am Very Conservative.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Legislative priorities: To protect our children from cultural ideologies. Children need to be taught ABC's and 123's, not cultural ideologies. Children are our Nation's most valuable and precious treasure and should be treated as such, while recognizing and protecting parental rights. Abortion should be illegal. The lives of Unborn, Innocent Babies need protection. I believe we should Back the Blue and Fight Crime. Crime should not pay. Solutions should be found and enforced to protect our nation's children & schools without endangering the 2nd Amendment. Taxes have become burdensome and need to be reduced. We need exemptions for religious organizations and to protect conscience rights and principles.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support the 2nd Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Put the blame where it belongs, which is on the criminal. Blaming others is one of our weakest points and very unfair.
