OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Human life deserves legal protection from conception until natural death.

Strongly Agree

The lives of human embryos created through artificial methods ought to be protected from purposeful destruction.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

To preserve the life of the mother and, in cases of rape and incest.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Disagree

The Comstock Act, which bans interstate transportation of abortion-inducing drugs, should be enforced.

Strongly Agree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Strongly disagree. As a person of faith, I believe religious liberty is the first freedom for a reason. No American should be forced by the government to violate their deeply held beliefs. The Constitution protects our right to live and work according to our conscience. Compelled speech and compelled service are incompatible with freedom. I will always fight to protect every American's right of conscience.

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

Separation of church and state means government can't establish an official religion or punish anyone for their faith, and I fully support that. But it doesn't mean people of faith must abandon their values in public life. My faith shapes who I am and why I serve. The founders feared government controlling religion, not citizens living it. I'll always protect every American's right to worship freely.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C. America has spent trillions and lost thousands of lives fighting other nations' battles while our own border, infrastructure, and veterans are neglected. I believe in a strong national defense, but strength means protecting Americans first. We should engage the world on our terms, for our interests, not serve as the world's police force. America First.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Absolutely. Israel is our strongest ally in the most dangerous region on earth, and that relationship matters strategically, morally, and yes, for me personally as a person of faith. Israel is the only true democracy in the Middle East. When Israel is secure, America is more secure. We share intelligence, technology, and values.

Islamic terrorism is a threat to the United States' national security.

Strongly Agree

Strongly agree. As a Recon Marine who served in the Gulf War, I've seen this threat firsthand. Islamic terrorism is real, and it is deadly. We must secure our border, fund our intelligence agencies, and work with allies to defeat radical Islamic terrorism. I've been there. I know what's at stake.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

The government should keep a database of people with various ongoing medical illnesses to assess the economic burden of treatment.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

People who can afford to pay more taxes should do so in order to provide relief for working families.

Strongly Disagree

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

List your top 3-5 priorities to eliminate government waste.

1. Audit and reform bloated government agencies. 2. Sunset outdated and/or ineffective programs. 3. End the improper payment crisis.

IMMIGRATION

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

As a Marine who served overseas, I know secure borders are not optional, they are a national security necessity. I support legal immigration, but we must know who is coming in and why. Complete the border wall, fully fund border patrol, end catch and release, and fix our broken legal system so people can come here the right way.

I support the existence of sanctuary cities to protect undocumented persons.

Strongly Disagree

EDUCATION

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Strongly Agree

Strongly agree with the goal. President Trump is right to challenge the Department of Education's role. I believe ultimate control belongs with states, parents, and communities, not Washington. Whether that means full elimination or dramatic restructuring, the result must be the same: federal bureaucrats out of our classrooms and local communities back in control of how their children are educated.

Foreign governments should be prohibited from funding American education.

Strongly Agree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Government has a responsibility to protect children from sexual exploitation during online activities.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

The Second Amendment shall not be infringed, according to the Constitution.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

VALUES

Attempts to physically or socially transition a child to the opposite sex constitute child abuse.

Strongly Agree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Agree

I believe as a matter of faith that marriage is a sacred union between one man and one woman. That conviction will never change. But I also will uphold the Constitution, and I respect the role of our courts in interpreting the law. My focus in office will be protecting religious liberty, so no church or person of faith is ever forced to violate their beliefs

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I was raised in a Christian household. I believe that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. The Bible, the true and accurate word of God, has guided me every step of my life. I lead with my faith, and I will never compromise my values.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

EQUALITY

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Oil and Gas.
