QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under no circumstances!
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Tax code should be simple, each person and or company should pay their fair share. Close all loop holes to simplify tax code. Hold government accountable to spend no more than what is needed.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Speaking on the federal government level, I would cut all spending going to other countries. We have needs here at home. IE homeless veterans, hungry kids.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Our great country can not step into that. Each person needs to maintain their own morals and religious freedoms.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
There is none! Our religious freedoms are protected under the constitution!
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
D- take a look at veterans health care, Indian health service. That’s what we would get.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Americans have free individual choice, government should never require any vaccinations.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Allow more drilling on the domestic level, ensure the boarders are secure, and stay out of fights that have been going on for hundreds of years.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We just need to follow the current policies that are in place. There are 1 million legal immigrants each year allowed to come into our great country. No need to reinvent the wheel. Follow what is in place.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I’m Roman Catholic. I adhere to the greatest commandment there is one God.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
With all the illegal immigrants, a person should have to have photo ID. You need an ID to cash a check, use a credit card, legally drink in an establishment that serves alcohol. I can assume that all people have an ID, might be a state, tribal or school.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Voter ID. And same day registration. I feel there is no need for same day registration.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Yes it is. Racism is a learned behavior, I feel there needs to be more education regarding Native Americans, blacks, Mexican Americans, and Muslims. With each person learning about all cultures we would then understand each other.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
I believe in reliable, responsible, reasonable standers. We have to protect our water, air and the people.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Neutral
I need more education on fracking. I think it’s a good tool to use. As long as it’s safe for our water resources and animals.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Limited government to protect the liberty’s of the people.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Glacier reporter did an article in 2016 “ meet the candidates” indianzs. Com did an article about when I was acting chief of police.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
First I’d like voters to know that I’m not a politician. I’m a candidate for public service commission for three reasons. 1) there is a lack of leadership. The audit is horrific, the culture needs to be changed. 2) PSC is supposed to ensure safe reliable energy at the lowest cost to the consumer. Right now utility companies are wagging the dog. My opponent is sleep at the wheel. I find it funny that a commissioners emails were allegedly stolen and released to a news paper. All a person or the media needs to do is ask for that information. This leads me to believe that there is other things going on. My opponent is also part of a $2.25 million dollar lawsuit. This is unacceptable for a public servant! 3) with rural consumers being held hostage by utilities. We need a voice that will speak for us, the little guy. We don’t need career politicians using PSC as a stepping stone to a bigger office.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Police Officers put their lives on the line every day, once they take an oath. Your a police officer 24-7-365. They need not worry about politics when doing their job.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
If that is on the table, then other programs should be cut. Do not cut the police budget!!
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None at all. It’s protected under the constitution.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Neutral
Only when a gun was obtained illegally or Under malice.
