QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Strongly Agree

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

Life should be protected as much as possible. I stand on supporting a heartbeat bill or only under extreme medical circumstances.

Does the federal government have a role to play in limiting abortion, and if so what federal steps and/or federal legislation would you support?

The Supreme Court got it right at the federal level by overturning Roe vs. Wade and pushing the decision closer to their community by letting the states decide. The federal government should not be involved nor fund it.

ECONOMY

What actions would you take that would allow Americans to retain more of their income and wealth?

Work towards lowering taxes. That first starts by the federal government doing its job working towards a balanced budget and fighting against wasteful government spending. No more money to fight wars for other countries such as Ukraine.

Student loan forgiveness unfairly shifts the financial burden to those not responsible for student debt.

Neutral

I am neutral on this topic mainly because I am America First and being able to help out citizens within our boarders is what I stand for. I would have used this as a bargaining chip to meet with some democrats to help get some conservative issues passed. Such as border security, protecting the second amendment, loosening regulations by the EPA, Job Corps early repayment, No more money to Ukraine, a magnitude of things could have been a win-win for both republicans and democrats.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

What does "separation of church and state" mean to you?

The right to freely exercise their religion without government interface. Government should have limited powers over ones church. Our Federal and State Governments have limited power over each other and the church should be treated the same.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

We live in a country full of individual freedoms, choices, and the land of opportunity. A person should not be forced to go against their ethical, moral or religious beliefs.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Government & school should not require vaccinations as it is the persons medical choice. Private employers run their business own business practices. I prefer the vaccination not be granted immunity from lawsuits due to side affects and lengthy test.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

Israel has been our ally through intelligence and economically since World War II.

What are the causes of decline in U.S. military recruitment and retention?

Decline in U.S. Military recruitment & retention should be asked to the ones in charge by the elected official in a committee meeting. But what I would like to do in hopefully boosting recruitment and retention is 1) increase basic pay 2) reduce the amount of years needed to receive a retirement.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

It should be an equal no preference for one over another after a long and thorough vetting process of the individual seeking to immigrate. Criminals, people who hate America, and terrorist are not allowed to step foot on our soil.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I support eliminating the U.S. Department of Education and giving control back to states and communities.

Agree

I would like to hear more about what can be done to limit the powers of the U.S. Department of Education to only a reporting role to congress and the executive branch. The control would remain at the state and local level.

VALUES

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Choose not to answer

I would have voted NO on the Respect for Marriage Act because I believe the federal government should stay out of the marriage business all together. Let the state and local communities decide. We do not need to start registering our marriage certificates in Washington, DC nor concerned with another cumbersome and confusing legislation at the federal level.

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

The Electoral College should be abolished.

Neutral

EQUALITY

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Man-made climate change is a global threat and requires urgent political action.

Disagree

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Nuclear Energy

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I'm just a truck driver that wants to bring a load of common sense politics back to Washington, DC.

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to provide the common infrastructure and protection of its people and businesses. Government of the people, by the people, for the people. Shall be limited in control, but open and available to its citizens.

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

No

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

No

JUDICIAL PHILOSOPHY

The Supreme Court should be reformed to include more seats.

Disagree

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

No more restrictions on gun ownership are needed as we have witnessed time over time bad guys will always get access to a weapon. Putting more restrictions on gun ownership will put us in a place where law abiding citizens can't access protection from people who intend to do harm.
