What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I believe we have to look at how the state as well as municipalities should look at how the property tax code should be reviewed to relieve homeowners are not overburdened. We have made great strides in having a flat tax implemented at the state level, as well as an elimination of "death" taxes.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
I would look at where the state is spending money on projects that are a "face lift" and does not serve a functional purpose for the state or municipal governments. Beautification projects are wonderful but we as a state need to ensure that the citizens of Iowa are getting their tax dollars worth with projects the state funds.

C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. Once they are able to pick themselves and sustain themselves they no longer require those programs.

There are few instances where a government should be able to and even so a government should not require them and allow citizens to make informed choices regarding what they wish to be vaccinated for. A school and employer have no circumstances to require vaccinations as that is an overreach of their powers and responsibilities.

We should provide aid, and support to our allies in our fight against Islamic terrorism and radicalism. Emplacing more guidelines on persons wishing to enter our country would also be a great step.

I grew up as a devoted Baptist in Ottumwa and slowly guided my way to learning other Christian sects. I believe that God guides us and gives us the strength to do many things. I believe that helping your community, providing, and mentoring the next generation spiritually and non-spiritually is important. I am principled, compassionate, conservative, and believe integrity is the most important principle and value a person may have. To lack integrity is to lie to your fellow man and God, thus harming the people around you.

Within the state of Iowa we have a great laws in place already. I would however propose a law to ensure our voting is never done electronically within the state of Iowa. This will aid in auditing purposes and ensure the integrity of our ballots.

Racism is a threat as citizens are pitting one another against each other. We have see this in large cities where widespread looting and criminal destruction of property. This was inflamed by our leaders and encouraged by groups of people.
