RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Extreme circumstances where the baby can't survive and the mother would die if not for the abortion (like ectopic pregnancy)
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Tax payers should not have to fund the killing of children. Taxes are for the basic government roles, not for this.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
This one is very understandable, if you have ever watched a love one suffer at the end of life. My concern is the abuse and/or government involvement after a certain stage of life for other reasons. They have already limited care to the elderly so I know they would go down this path if given the option.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We should have a consumption based tax and eliminate all other taxes. Property tax is straight theft. Many people pay ZERO taxes and get a fat check every year on top of it. The only fair way is for people to pay based on their consumption. If you want to just adjust the current system, any benefits from the government should be counted as income and eligibility for lazy people would quickly end. Those in true need would still be able to qualify due to disability or age. NOBODY that is not a legal NE citizen should get a dime of taxpayer money.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The two biggest spending divisions of government are Health & Human Services and Education. Both are top-heavy and the administration should obviously be cut. As stated in the previous answer, we need to get multi-generational takers off the government handouts. Both of these would significantly reduce both divisions of the government.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
College is not right for much of the population ~ well over 1/2 just run up debt for no reason. Some fields require college but trade schools and internships are a much better option for a large majority of the population. Anyone that chooses a college education needs to be responsible in their choice and pay back any debt incurred on their own. It's a risk that they need to choose and take the responsibility.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Freedom is what America is all about. People shouldn't be required to purchase anything (like insurance) but also people should be able to run their business according to their own beliefs. PRIVATE is the key word. There are other places available that have different moral and/or religious beliefs (or even none) that people can use. It is wrong to force anyone to provide service against their beliefs.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
The government has NO RIGHT to close churches. Freedom of Religion is pretty clear about that.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
E) None of the above. The Government should not be involved in healthcare and it should be available across state lines! The only exceptions to this are Medicare for the elderly, disabled and veterans services (they have earned every bit of it). Handouts are not a "right" and should not be funded for people who refuse to work and/or keep having children for additional handouts.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
NONE (nor mask mandates) ~ totally unconstitutional
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Start with SECURING OUR BORDER & quit bringing in "refugees" from Islamic countries with little or no vetting! The Obama administration and the current Obama administration 2.0 have deliberately funded terrorism and brought in high-risk terrorists to destroy this country. We need to have actual intelligence coming in from these areas which means we have to have some people on the ground and inside but until we get the fraud from the 2020 election fixed, it will just continue to get worse.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
There are no "occupied territories". Israel was attacked and after winning the short war gave back most of the land but kept the parts that put them most in danger from future attacks. Israel was unprovoked and is constantly attacked by terrorists and countries funded by organizations inside of this country and it needs to be stopped. Do some actual research of actual history if you don't understand that Israel is not "occupying" anything but their own country.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need physical structures there and armed agents with orders to shoot invaders. We are not the welfare state for the world and overwhelming our system with illegals puts everyone at risk and an unsustainable burden on our economy. We need secure borders and we need to defend our borders. Let the agents do their jobs and address the real threats with necessary force.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
There are currently legal immigration guidelines. They need to be expanded to bring in more people but people that can offer something to the country, not look for a handout. If people can help build our country with their knowledge and skills then the path needs to be there but we don't need more people coming just for free stuff.Anyone that comes illegally should lose all chances of legal citizenship. Invaders should not be rewarded.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
I support the money for the children (all of it including administration costs) following the students to whatever school they choose to go to including home schools. All schools should have reading, writing (including cursive), math and history standards and no child should get a diploma if they can't pass the US Citizenship test.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
People are free to follow/practice whatever religion they choose but our country was founded on Christian values and we need to embrace those values set forth in the Constitution.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Gender dysphoria is a mental disorder and should not be lifted up like it is a positive thing, it should be treated as the mental illness that it is.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
The Supreme Court CAN NOT rewrite laws. They can strike down a law and request the Legislative branch redraft a new law. Marriage is a Christian ceremony and should be upheld as one man and one woman. We should also have civil contracts available so people can share and pass on at death their property and gain the same tax benefits currently listed under marriage. Government should use contracts and stay out of marriage!
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is a racist ideology at it's core. Just because the race it is targeting is white doesn't make it any less racist. Targeting anyone for race is racist. This poison should be kept away from our children and was just created to break down our country for the Great Reset they are trying to currently push (look it up on the world economic forum's page before you call me a conspiracy theorist).
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Bible-believing Christian. I have strongly held values but am not sure what you are exactly asking.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
We can't drive without and ID, buy a firearm w/o and ID (even though the Constitutions says it "shall not be infringed"), buy alcohol, cigarettes, stay at a hotel, fly, rent a car or do most things w/o and ID but people should be able to do the most important thing to the security of the country w/o and ID? ANYONE can get an ID, with no money you can even get a free one through the government. There is no reason to not require an ID except if you want to commit fraud in an election
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Dump voter rolls legally with the oversight of the Nebraska Secretary of State and re-register legal voters, Voters must be verified with government issued photo ID,paper ballots only (no computers or voting machines allowed at polling locations), premises must be thoroughly searched before counting starts to ensure there are no hidden boxes of suspect ballots, officials and buildings surrounded by trusted people for 48 hours (or until count is announced) to ensure no strange vehicles turn up with ‘found’ ballots, no electronic poll books with live updates, Smaller precincts & votes are counted at the precinct and called into the county clerk, ballots collected from the precincts and delivered to the respective county clerks to canvass & full forensic audit—not a recount and not a limited audit (with 24x7 cameras and security), all ballots scanned and publicly available ballot images with an individualized code and tracking for archiving.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism was almost gone until Obama came in and started it up again. We need to be UNITED on our beliefs and the Constitution. Race should never enter in to that. CRT & affirmative action programs just highlight race and make it an issue that it should never be.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Race should not be a defining characteristic. We need to judge people by the content of their character not the color of their skin. Nobody alive today was part of slavery or forced on to a reservation or any lame excuse given to justify reparations. Everyone has equal opportunities. Nobody can guarantee equal outcome (nor should they). Treat everyone equally and let their character shine through.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
There obviously needs to be oversight and guidelines but there are safe ways to frack and we need to get back to energy independence for the security and stability of the country.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Protection (military/police), Infrastructure (roads, utilities, etc), Some general basic education.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I'm a Constitutional Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
My 8 years on city council is well documented and there is audio of the entire meetings if you want to listen for what really happened instead of the twisted views represented in the biased media.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I want to protect our children from "Social Emotional Learning", CRT or whatever new twist they come out with the damage their innocence. Introduce anti-ESG legislation to protect the citizens from the "social credit scores" similar to those in China. Remove "civil asset forfeiture" and other unconstitutional practices of stealing from citizens. Abolish vaccine & mask mandates. Support or lead legislation to introduce a consumption tax to replace all other taxes in the state. Secure our elections as answered above. Support or introduce Constitutional carry & Stand Your Ground/Castle doctrine legislation. Bring COMMON SENSE back to the legislative branch of this state!
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
There are very limited situations where this would be true but it should not be a blanket coverage and there must be consequences for actions they choose to take.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
The police needed more funding than they are getting and the money from tickets and fines needs to go back into the system instead of to the education system.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There should be NO restrictions on gun ownership. The 2nd Amendment is clear "Shall NOT Be Infringed"
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
That's like saying the victims of a drunk driver should be able to sue the car company or fat people should be able to sue a restaurant. PEOPLE are responsible for their own actions.
