HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I feel that health related matters, including medical procedures, treatments, medications, and vaccinations should be made individually along with the assistance of ones medical provider. Parents should have the right to make these decisions for their children based on health history, culture, religion, etc. I feel that people should have to right to choose or opt not to receive certain treatments to include vaccinations on an individual basis based on ones individual health needs.
EDUCATION
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
I do not feel that parents should be restricted from school board meetings. Parents should have the opportunity to express their concerns whether positive or negative to the board and there should be no retaliation nor discrimination.
Please list in order the following priorities in relation to the role of a K-12 public school (omitting any that do not apply): Mathematics, Information Technology, Science, Political Activism, Personal Finances, Gender Identity, Physical Fitness, American History, Critical Race Theory, Language Arts, Art & Music, Vocational Learning, Sexuality, Foreign Language, Social Emotional Learning
Mathematics, Language arts American History Science Foreign Language Art & Music; Physical Fitness Information Technology Personal Finance Vocational Learning
American civics education should emphasize our nation's founding principles of liberty and equality.
Strongly Agree
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
I feel the curriculum for these courses should also be sent home to the parent to review so that parent can make educated decision when making decision to opt in or out.
The loss of local control in education is too high a price to pay in exchange for federal dollars.
Agree
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Strongly Disagree
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
What is the function of the local school board?
To be a liaison between parents, local government and the school system.
Do you support the National School Board Association's characterization of parents who speak out at school board meetings as "domestic terrorists"?
No
I feel that every parent with child in the public school system should have the right to speak concerns at a board meeting without be characterized negatively, discriminated against or retaliated against.

The school board along with school administration and parent representatives.
Who has the ultimate right to control the education of children in public schools? (a) parents (b) teachers (c)school boards.
I feel it should be a combination of parents, teachers and school board working in collaboration to ensure well rounded quality education.
VALUES
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe in Jesus Christ. I believe that he died and rose on the 3rd cleansing me from sin that I may have eternal life.
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Who is responsible for teaching sexual education to children, and what is the appropriate age when it should be taught?
I believe sex education should be taught by the parent at the age that the parent feels it is right to teach to their child.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Under what circumstances (if any) should schools be allowed to require vaccinations?
I feel all medical related decision should be the responsibility of the parent with insight of medical provider based on individual health needs and health history.
I support mask mandates.
Choose not to answer
I feel that parents know their child best. If a child has a medical illness or weak immune system and feel that a mask would be needed in a school setting then they should have the right to send their child to school with a mask. Likewise, I feel that a parent knows if their is healthy and is ok going into pubic without a mask. Therefore I feel it should be a decision made by the parent or guardian.
