QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I believe that a society that does not protect its most vulnerable members will not survive. I am opposed to abortion of convenience (97%). I am willing to have a conversation about the less than 3% due to rape/incest/mother's health. I oppose any financial profit from abortion.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Did not answer
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Did not answer
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Our tax-funded schools are in a sorry state, with massive administration salaries and too-low teacher salaries, not to mention the deplorable state of student outcomes. I do not believe that expanding this mess through college, and using taxes to do it, is prudent.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
We are all guaranteed the freedom to practice our religion, and that freedom does not end at the doors of our businesses.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Absolutely none.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C. I believe that there is work to be done on Medicare and Medicaid, they should be massively reduced in size and only available to those who are truly in dire situations. I strongly believe that the answer is the Church. The Church, if allowed, would (and has in the past) filled the gap in healthcare for the poor.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Absolutely none.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We absolutely must return to closed borders and fully vetted entrances into our country. It is what every other country requires. What is happening now at our southern border is nothing less than an assault on our very existence and our children will face the consequences for decades.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
It is a devastating tragedy what is being allowed to happen to our country. The consequences will last through our children's lifetimes. We MUST make drastic changes immediately.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
There is room for humanitarianism, however we should fully vet immigrants, following all immigration laws. I believe that once accepted, new citizens should be assimilated into American values, ethics and civic responsibilities, as is the protocol of most other countries.
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Strongly Agree
I absolutely support vouchers, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home school. "Fund the student, not the system"!
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe that there is one true God, that we are all made in His image, that He gave us His Word to guide us through our lives in the way He intended. I believe that He sent His son Jesus Christ to save and redeem us. I am not only a 'believer', but a follower of Christ.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
One needs identification for practically everything, why wouldn't we require it for one of our most important civic rights? Voter ID will build better protect our elections.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I believe it would be helpful to have polling places within walking distance, thereby eliminating access issues. I do not support mail-in voting, except in rare cases. And I do not support ballot harvesting. We must have confidence in our elections.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I believe we have come so far since the Civil Right's movement in our quest for racial harmony. Martin Luther King Jr. taught us that skin color does not matter, but what is in our hearts. It is wrong to split our country into racial categories, into victims/oppressors. The consequences of this will be dire. We should not ignore our history, but we should tell it accurately.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. As usual we are not listening to ALL the scientists, but just the ones that support one side of the debate. There is compelling science on both sides. I believe we should definitely strive to clean up our world. But we cannot do it while putting undue burden on one class of citizens. And the answer is not solar and wind. The answer to clean, cheap energy is nuclear power.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The purpose of government is to defend its borders and maintain a military.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am running for State Legislator to stand up against the rapid spread of extreme agendas threatening Nebraska. I am a wife, a mother, and an educator. When I saw our incumbent legislator for District 8 was running unopposed, I knew there was no other option than to join the race. I am not a politician; I have not been groomed to be political. I am an ordinary citizen doing what needs to be done in extraordinary times. I believe that our children are our future, and our most important task is to teach them to think critically and logically. I believe that as women we have the right to safe, private spaces. I believe that one should not be forced or coerced to undergo any medical procedure or experiment. I believe in healthy and vigorous debate, free from the threat of censorship. I believe a society that does not protect its most vulnerable will not survive. I believe we have work to do to get people working again and our small businesses thriving. If elected, I will uphold the values that have made Nebraska the best place in the country to live, work and raise a family. It is time for ordinary citizens to reclaim 'by the people, for the people'.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I fully support the 2nd Amendment. It is my belief that if all citizens owned firearms, we would be a safer society.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
