QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances should abortion be allowed. I believe life begins at conception and should be protected constitutionally. Every life matters and every person deserves the chance to experience life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Taxes for middle class and upper middle class people should be cut substantially. The middle class is the backbone of our economy, and they are being squeezed by our current tax code. Under no circumstances should existing taxes be raised on any income bracket. Neither should new taxes be levied to pay for other services. Money is almost always better off in the hands of private citizens than in the hands of the government.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would cut spending on Missouri's State Government agencies. Working in the White House office which oversaw the Federal Bureaucracy, I had a front row seat to the kind of waste, fraud, and abuse these agencies are involved in. State government is no exception. Cutting the size of Missouri's bureaucracy will help us create a more efficient government, save taxpayer money, and hold bureaucrats accountable.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances should government be able to close churches. The closure of churches which happened in 2020 and 2021 was disgraceful. The right to worship God is sacred and essential, and must be allowed to continue uninhibited even in the most dire circumstances.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should the government be allowed to mandate vaccines. Individuals should be able to decide what medically works best for them. Private businesses should be allowed to set whatever requirements they want for hiring. However, it’s not okay for them to require a vaccine after an existing employee has signed a contract and previously met all job requirements.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States should focus on preventing Islamic terrorism inside our own country, as opposed to fighting endless wars abroad. That means only accepting immigrants who demonstrate a love for America and pass extremely stringent vetting requirements. It means putting terrorists in Guantanamo Bay, not giving them trials in the United States. It means securing our southern border so no Islamic terrorists sneak in by way of Mexico.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We should finish Trump's wall and increase the number of border patrol agents.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Immigrants who have gone through the legal process having demonstrated a love for our country, proven they will add value to our society, and passed stringent vetting requirements.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Neutral

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As a Christian, my faith in God shapes my worldview in both my personal life and politics. God has given each of us the ability to stand up for what is constitutionally right. I don’t believe God intended for us to sit on the sidelines while our country falls apart.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would propose banning mail-in ballots (with very limited exceptions) and mandating voter ID.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. America is not a racist country. The American dream is attainable for everyone regardless of race. The real threat to domestic security in the United States is political correctness and wokeness which puts racial quotas above all else.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect citizens' inherent right to life, liberty, and property.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://themissouritimes.com/mazzie-boyd-running-against-incumbent-railsback-in-hd2/, https://player.fm/series/the-kevin-alan-show/mazzie-boyd, https://podtail.com/podcast/coffee-and-a-mike/mazzie-boyd-337,

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I will always support legislation offering support for cattle farmers, protections for the unborn, fully funding law enforcement, fighting Critical Race Theory in schools, and opposing any efforts to limit First and Second Amendment rights. We must start electing people who are not afraid to stand up. The only way to continue President Trump’s America First agenda is to start putting our local government first. I’m making it my mission to return power back to the people and hold the state government accountable as our checks and balances were originally designed to do. Right now, our farmers and District 2 residents need a fighter in Jefferson City and I’m ready to do just that.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None. It's a mental health problem, not a gun problem.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
