QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I do not have the moral authority to tell anyone it is okay to take a life outside of a situation of self-defense, protection of loved ones and innocents threatened with great bodily harm or death, or the defense of our nation. We must always protect life from its beginning to its end.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
If Roe v. Wade is overturned by the US Supreme Court, how far are you willing to go to roll back North Carolina's statutory abortion law that allows abortion up to 20 weeks?
As far as necessary.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Would you support a limitation on chemical abortion that protects women from taking abortion pills without the care and supervision of a qualified physician?
Yes
I oppose chemical abortion as a whole. However, if it is legal, it must be under the supervision of a medical doctor even though it is wrong.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never. The leaders of a church love their members more than any government can. The decisions they make are deeply spiritual, loving, and emotional. The government should have ZERO say in respect to how "We the People" practice our faith, even in times of uncertainty.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The government should have no say in respect to the church. A person can never leave their faith at the door when talking about, or running, their government.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
I don't know of a situation where mandating a vaccine is acceptable. Furthermore, it is not okay to require someone to disclose medical decisions. It is not the government, schools, or the employer's business as to what someone's individual health decisions are. In a free nation, people can gather information and do what they deem is best for them and their families.
ECONOMY
The government should do more to close the gap between the working class and the wealthy.
Strongly Disagree
In America, a nation of free people with equal opportunity, the level of individual achievement and accumulation of wealth is not the responsibility of the government.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
North Carolina, like other states, should have no personal income tax. Taxing the income of individuals presents obstacles to essential things like saving for our children’s college and having the money necessary for family milestones like retirement, weddings, paying off a home, and leaving an inheritance for our children and grandchildren.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
EDUCATION
States should allow parents to use the Opportunity Scholarship Program to fund private school for their children.
Strongly Agree
In what situations does a parent not have the right to know what their child is being taught in public school?
In all situations.
When should parents be restricted from speaking in school board meetings?
Never.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There should be no obstacle to the law-abiding citizen pertaining to gun ownership or carry. The second amendment is essential to our nation. The right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Would you support legislation that prohibits biological boys from competing on girls sports teams?
Yes
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The constitution begins to define the purpose of our government as forming a more perfect union, establishing justice, insuring domestic tranquility, providing for the common defense, promoting the general welfare, and securing the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, …and I think it wise to stick with that.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Please watch the interviews on Fox News' Laura Ingraham, Harris Faulkner, Neil Cavuto. Please check the podcast interview with the Benham Brothers and the Decision Magazine article.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
NO
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Parental rights, limiting government powers like mandates, lowering the tax burden on the residents of North Carolina, securing the safety of our children, banning racial, sexual, and political agendas from the classroom while improving education, so our children excel in areas such as reading, the sciences, and mathematics. We must also reduce the regulations and permit requirements that burden small businesses in NC while winning protections for our 2A rights by rejecting red-flag laws and further expanding the right to carry our lawful arms.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
God sent Jesus, His only begotten Son, to die for the sins of humanity. He was raised from the dead for our justification and proof that He is the Son of God. Those who believe in Him are forgiven, made new, and have eternal security. Jesus Christ empowers those who believe in Him to live life and make decisions in a way that reflects that He is our Lord.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
We need legislation that requires proof of identification like a driver's license, state-issued ID, passport, etc. We also need a mandatory minimum sentence for voter or election fraud for those who desire to undermine our elections from the federal to the local level.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. Our lives with one another are peaceful on every level. People of different colors and ethnicities live as neighbors, shop in the same grocery stores, attend schools, sporting events, and concerts together every day in our peaceful society. Racial tension beyond individuals with character sins only plays out on the news and social media shares. I believe the lives we live together.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
