QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

If someone wants an abortion then that is their own choice and responsibility to pay for that procedure- no one else's. I am both pro-God and pro-science. If a single celled organism on Mars is defined as life by science, then a multi-cellular organism in the womb is as well. By continuing to follow the science, a sperm cell penetrating an egg creates what is known as a zygote. Scientifically, this means that life in fact begins at conception.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

Life is sacred. Additionally, government can take advantage of this if made into law and twist it to their own devices. That has already happened right here in America over a century ago through the forced sterilization and euthanasia of tens of thousands "undesirable" people such as criminals and the mentally disabled.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

If both the mother and child will die if an abortion is not performed, then it might be required to save the mother's life. The loss of one life is a tragedy; the loss of two lives is too much.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

The government needs to spend less. Capitalism, the voluntary exchange of goods and services, has raised over 80% of the world's population from abject poverty. Taking money from those that earn it and giving it to those that do not only further incentivizes people not to work. For those who do work, they will not work as hard because the "fruits of their labor" are being taken from them.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Absolutely! How are we supposed to pay back the loan on our debts if we keep endlessly borrowing and spending money? In Congress we need to balance the budget again, which has not been done since the 1990s. Congress needs to pass a balanced budget amendment.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

To encourage the growth of families, I believe the following should be changed in the tax code: -Lifetime tax exemption for women with 4 or more children -$35,000 interest-free loan for women under 40 getting married for the first time and if the family eventually has three children the loan is forgiven -Families with 3 or more children are eligible for a government grant of $9,000 towards the purchase of a 7 seat car -Beginning in 2024 no income tax for anyone under 25

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

The First Amendment (part of it freedom of religion) is the most basic and fundamental liberty needed to continue our constitutional republic. Over the past decade, the government has forced multiple religious institutions to do things they are against, such as providing abortion services and this needs to stop.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Our capitalistic system ensures that there are multiple businesses that all provide the same or similar functions/services. If a business owner does not want to conduct business with someone as they feel it violates their own First Amendment rights, then it is their right to decline doing business with them. Similarly, it is also within our rights to take our business elsewhere. We can vote on a ballot and we can also "vote" with our wallet too.

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

Separate, as it has been until recently when the government in 2020 ordered churches to be closed over COVID-19 concerns. The state has no right to close down a church, anymore than the church has the right to close down a government building or the state itself.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None at all. Decisions concerning your own health and welfare (when it concerns your body only and not a baby's body inside you) are personal and individual ones when you are 18 or older. If you are under 18, those medical decisions belong to parents/legal guardians.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option C. In the old days, if someone had to see a doctor they would do so, and they paid the doctor out of their own pocket for their services. I believe that if you have a medical issue(s) then only you should pay for it, unless others want to assist with payment too. Unlike the old days, today we live in an interconnected world where online crowdfunding is possible so others (even strangers) can fund medical procedures of yours if they so choose.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

Option C. We have enough problems here at home we need to solve. Getting involved in the business of other nations is only going to get us involved in their problems- and delaying the solving of our own. We should avoid foreign entanglements unless they pose an existential threat to our nation.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

Israel is one of the only free nations in the Middle East, if anything we should stand with them. Additionally, with the Abraham Accords (thanks to President Trump's administration) peace is becoming more a reality there; more nations becoming peaceful with Israel is the way forward with everyone eventually coming to the table to see what can be done for the Palestinian people.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

Agreed! For decades we were concerned with Worldwide Communism coming from the Soviet Union, but that same threat comes from China too. China wants to rule the whole world like Nazi Germany and stamp out freedom wherever it exists; we need to stand up against them and fight back!

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

We need to continue reaching out and engaging moderate Islamic nations to effectively neutralize the threat from radical Islamic terrorism. We have been doing a fine job about that over the past 20 years, notice how we have had no major Islamic terrorist attacks in America since 2001. We need to keep making it so that attacking America is a losing proposition for terrorists and will only end up in the wasteful expenditure of their own lives.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Considering it is hardly being secured at all currently, anything would be better than doing nothing. We need to ensure that the southern border wall is completed too.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

We are a nation of laws, and it is time to start enforcing them; equally and on everyone.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only legal immigration should be allowed and also in cases of political persecution from other countries that wish us harm, for example North Korean defectors.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

There are not a wide range of genders; there are two genders and a wide range of mental disorders. Also, the days of discrimination against sexual orientation such as in 20th century America are long gone.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

If the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist, then how did Barack Obama reach the highest political office in America? How did Colin Powell and Condoleezza Rice both become Secretary of State? How have so many African Americans and other minority groups in America become Congressmen and Senators in both major political parties, CEOs of companies? I could go on and on providing names, titles, positions, etc over the centuries disproving this statement, but you get my point.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am pro-God, pro-life, and pro-science. God and science both exist together; I believe the purpose of science is to explain the glory of all God's creation. I believe that everyone has a unique and individual relationship with God whether they believe in Him or not, or whether they want it or not. Everyone is free to either develop, or not develop, that relationship if they so choose. Live and let live; everyone is free to do as they want as long as it affects only themselves and not others negatively. Our rights end where the rights of others begin. I believe in small, limited government where the individual is championed over the community, for what is a community but a collection of individuals? Like Dr. King, I believe that we should be judged not by the color of our skin, but by the content of our character. I believe in the 10th amendment, which states that all powers not given to Congress by the Constitution belong to each state, or to its people so they can determine for themselves what they will allow in their own state or communities or not allow.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Photo ID is needed for: getting onto airplanes, driving a car, buying lottery tickets, smoking products, alcohol, getting into clubs, buying a home, renting a home, getting a mortgage, renting a car and far more... all these things required to participate in basic aspects of life but one is not needed for deciding the future leadership at the local, state, and national level that can make or break a nation, and change the fate of billions around the world? That is absolutely ridiculous.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Require citizenship to vote (verify it), require photo ID to vote, confirm that the person voting has not already voted before in the same election for the same office, and require checking that the person voting is actually alive to cast a vote.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

What is the definition of racism again? Treating a group of people differently from others solely based on the color of their skin and nothing else, right? This idea is one of the most racist things I have ever heard- and I despise racism no matter how it is packaged. Reparations were paid with the deaths of hundreds of thousands of soldiers who died to end slavery in America during the Civil War.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes it is. Throughout all summer of 2020 and even in 2021, the majority white group Antifa destroyed over a billion dollars worth in damages to both privately owned minority businesses and public property, and also resulted in the deaths of dozens of minorities. This white on minority violence perpetuated by these white supremacist groups should be held accountable to the full extent of the law and be labeled domestic terrorists because that is exactly what they are- terrorist groups. Terrorism is the use or threat of violence to intimidate or subjugate people for political purposes.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

One of my most important responsibilities as a Representative is to ensure my constituents can take care of themselves and their families, not contribute to their economic woes and making their lives harder than they already are by continuing to let their elected government crush them at the gas pumps.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Option A. We need the planet- the planet does not need us. It has been able to heal itself whenever natural or cosmic disasters occurred long before we were around. We need to have a well-rounded supply of energy made of coal, wind, solar, nuclear, natural gas, petroleum, and other forms of energy production. In this way no matter the situation or circumstances, we will have the kind of energy needed for that particular scenario.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Choose not to answer

This questionnaire speaks for itself about how I feel and see things; I am simply an American who actually cares. That being said, I think it is also really important for me to note here that despite my personal beliefs and convictions I am not a jerk about them- as in I don't force them onto others. We can talk, and sure we may even disagree on multiple issues but I am not going to harass you about it or treat you as less than a person; we are all equal in terms of our intrinsic worth.

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have nothing publicly available to provide for this section. If you see me, come on over to confirm what I have said here and so I can get to know you!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I have not.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am pro-God, pro-life, pro-science, pro-1st and 2nd Amendments, pro-border security, pro-election integrity, pro-legal immigration, pro-energy independence, pro-military, anti-CRT, anti-communist, and against medical tyranny. I come from a long line of service to our nation and its people; I was 4th generation Army. I served for 8 years in the Army, twice deployed to the Middle East in support of Operations Enduring Freedom, Inherent Resolve, and Spartan Shield. When I was deployed, I saved $3 million in tax payer money through my responsible actions in government contracting. I was a U.S. Army Airborne and Air Assault trooper and as a Captain served as a Company Commander in Special Operations Command. As an Army officer, I took an oath to protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. Know that I will continue serving and fulfilling this oath in Congress to the best of my ability!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

I see this as a case by case basis. When an incident occurs, all available credible evidence should be considered, and from there the best decision made just like any other event looked at in a court of law.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

It is the police that protect and defend those mental health and community programs so they can do the good work that they do. A defunded police department makes for a vulnerable and undefended community.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

It is clearly stated in the Second Amendment that the right of the people to keep and bear arms, shall not be infringed.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

By that logic, then people should also be able to sue pencil makers for when they misspell words and spoon manufacturers for making them morbidly obese. Firearms are a tool that can either be used responsibility or irresponsibly; to save lives or take them. If anyone should be sued, it should be the person who used one to cause bodily harm to others in a non self-defense situation.
