RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

There is no circumstance where a child should be murdered in the womb. There are no medical reasons why the life of a child should be directly and intentionally ended with an abortion procedure. In situations where a mother cannot carry a child to term and a child must be delivered before the 22-24 week mark (the point at which a child can survive outside the womb), the child should be given a pre-term delivery. The life of a child should always be treated with dignity, and it is the duty of physicians to take care of mother and child.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Abortion providers should not receive a dime of taxpayer funding.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I do not support 'aid in dying' laws because a) human life is precious, and b) if allowed, where would it stop? It is a slippery slope. The argument based in human autonomy fails because we make laws to prevent harm to oneself and others all the time.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax rates should be exchanged for a flat tax - both in Missouri and on the Federal Level. The tax code has been and will continue to be difficult to reform, but in the meantime we should encourage the growth of families. Our birth rate in the United States in currently 1.7 children per woman, falling short of the 2.1 children per woman minimum needed to fund Social Security, Medicare, and to maintain our workforce. Good families are the bedrock of society, and this is why child tax credits, adoption credits, and tax cuts for married people must be prioritized while anti-family welfare programs must be cut. Welfare reduces work effort and promotes illegitimacy and poverty-prone single-parent families. Currently, the people who are working the hardest are paying the most in taxes. We should incentivize hard work through cutting income taxes as described above and also by getting rid of the personal property tax. People should not have to pay rent in the form of taxes on something they already own.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Missouri has to balance its state budget, but there is still plenty of waste. On the state level, I would first do an audit of all departments. Based off of those findings, I would cut out unnecessary spending. To balance the Federal budget, I would be supportive of Rand Paul's six penny plan. I would also reform entitlement programs and cut wasteful spending. Bureaucratic agencies like the Department of Education should be abolished and power returned to the states.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Individuals and businesses should be free to follow their conscience. The First Amendment must be protected.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstance. Period. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof."

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. While we must do our best to provide quality care to elderly who are already depending on it, there needs to be greater accountability in place to oversee the wasteful government spending that is no doubt occurring under Medicare. I was against the Medicaid Expansion in Missouri, which extended care to able bodied adults and made it harder for the elderly to receive quality care. In addition to how it impacts those who legitimately need care, Missouri can't afford Medicaid Expansion long term. We need to do things in the private sector to encourage a flourishing, free market in the medical arena. We need to get rid of certificate of need, allow insurance across state lines, and empower not-for-profits doing great work in our local communities.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should a vaccine requirement be mandated. It is a violation of the first amendment not to offer religious exemptions.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The U.S. should a) properly vet those coming into our country, and b) incorporate religious freedom into a consistent, long-term, foreign policy strategy.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We cannot be a sovereign nation without borders. We must finish Trump's Border Wall.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only those who come legally should be allowed entrance into the United States. They must go through the immigration process. If there are refuges from war torn countries that want to enter the United States, they must be properly vetted. There must be more accountability to ensure our government is vetting them properly. Those immigrants who have risked their lives for American interest - i.e. the Afghan Interpreters prior to the fall of Afghanistan - are examples of true refuge situations. However, if people are coming into this country, they also must buy into our systems. They need to pay taxes and contribute positively to society. It is not right that non-American citizens are treated better than many Veterans.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe that Jesus Christ is the son of God. He died on a cross so that we could be forgiven of our sins. I strive to live my life with Christ at the forefront of everything. After my relationship with Christ, my relationship with my husband and children is the most important. I believe that marriage is a covenant between one man and one woman. Judeo-Christian values are the foundation of this country, and most of our issues are a result of the spiritual apathy that has fallen over the United States. If this nation is to survive, we must turn back to God. I am a wife of thirty years, a mom of five children, and a grandma to one beautiful granddaughter. My husband worked harder than he had to so I could be at home with the kids, going to the the Capitol to advocate for our beliefs, and serving in my community. We don’t own a Prius. We prefer a tractor and cows. We think love grows best when the house is smaller than the barn and roots grow deep. We think a handshake should be as good as a contract. We believe most people want to provide for their families and work hard to do so. Where I come from, neighbors come up with the solutions. Men and women work together to step up, use their voices, and create change. I’m sold on this dream of America; I love and trust her. I’m invested in her success and yours. If you’re ready to shore up our state and link arms for our community, I am mutually pledged.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

In the Missouri legislature, I would advocate for photo ID and hand counted paper ballots. I would also be in favor of limiting absentee and early voting, encouraging as many people as possible to vote in person, on Election Day.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

America is the greatest country in the history of mankind. While it is not a perfect country, it has provided more opportunity to all people, regardless of race, than any country before it. There are people who desire to see America fall apart from within; we cannot let them win. Ideologies that seek to destroy true American history and replace it with bogus narratives like "Critical Race Theory" are poisoning the minds of our youth. While peaceful protesting is protected and encouraged, we cannot let violent protestors like ANTIFA to destroy our business, churches, and neighborhoods.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

The United States cannot be the only country in the world that is concerned with the environment. The regulations put on our farmers alone are stifling. Agencies like the EPA and Bureau of Land Management need to be reigned in. We must cut back on regulation.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

America must be energy independent. We cannot continue to rely on foreign energy.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The main purpose of government is to protect each person's God-given right to life, liberty, and property.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am always going to fight for the underdog. I am running to fight for the everyday person. The person whose business was crushed by government shutdowns and mandates, the farmer who is being crushed by regulation and whose land is being wrongfully taken, the girl who has trained her whole life only to be unfairly pushed out by a man who decided to change his gender, the person who has been fired because they wouldn't take the COVID shot - the examples go on forever. In Jefferson City, I will fight for you. I will promote legislation that a) protects individual liberty and property, b) protects children from sexualization and indoctrination, and c) gets rid of needless regulations on farmers, businesses, and school districts. We have to get the regulatory boot off the necks of our communities.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

While I believe the vast majority of police officers do an excellent job, there are situations where officers have violated the constitutional rights of the citizens of their jurisdiction. We need to make it easier for police officers to do their job without fear while also ensuring that individual liberty is not violated.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

As we just witnessed in Uvalde, Texas, there are situations in which only the use of force would be appropriate. It is not only unrealistic, but also dangerous to assume that a violent criminal could be subdued by a therapist.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I am not for any restrictions on gun ownership. I am Pro-Constitutional Carry, Pro-Stand Your Ground, and Pro-SAPA (Second Amendment Protection Act). I am against Red Flag Gun Seizures and Bump Stock Bans. Bad guys will always find a way to get guns, therefor we need to ensure that it is as easy as possible for good guys to acquire firearms.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
