When the life of the mother is at risk.

Pork barrel spending (pet projects) should be completely eliminated. Wasteful spending on Higher Education, Homeless Programs must be addressed.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Parents must have more involvement and oversight. Tenets of Critical Race Theory must be removed, localized school boards, make the superintendent elected by parents statewide, and put a check on federal funding mandates.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I believe that our Creator gave us all life and we are all equal in his sight and endowed with "certain inalienable rights." I believe there is life after death and that how we live our lives and treat others matters.

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Valid ID should always be required when voting. This is a problem we must address with mail-in ballots.

Constitutionally, each state has the authority to make its election laws. In Utah, there is room for improvement to ensure our election process is secure. Key measures should include: Requirements for valid voter identification when voting Camera surveillance and GPS tracking of ballot dropboxes Make it unlawful to vote in state and out of state within the same election Checks on election funds coming from non-government organizations Establishment of an annual statewide voter registration audit, security of election equipment, and restrictions on internet connections

No, racism isn't a threat. America is one of the most accepting nations in the world. We have all races and ethnicities here. The real problem is the woke left that is pushing and inciting racism when we've moved past that over the last 50 years.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

We need to be energy independent as a nation and we can! This is both an economic and national security issue. Biden has made us dependent on foreign oil when we don't need to be.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

We need to support our law enforcement. Police officers must also uphold the Constitution and obey the laws in their conduct.

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I support Constitutional Carry, meaning no permit is needed to open or conceal carry. Background check on firearm purchases is ok. Violent offenders should be restricted until they have satisfied the law. I oppose red-flag laws, federal gun control measures, and any legislation that violates our 2nd Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
