QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Life of the mother.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
Maximize Freedom and Opportunity. Ever since the introduction of President Johnson’s “Great Society” it is estimated that over 66 trillion dollars has been spent in the inner cities. The cities are failing, infrastructure is crumbling, the nuclear family has been destroyed, childbirth out of wedlock has become the norm, crime has skyrocketed, and the moral and educational foundation of our traditional institutions has been erased. The lesson that Life Choices have consequences has been lost.
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
NOW! Also, Restoring our currency to its intended valuation is a must. (See Currency Act of 1790) Restoration would, by best estimates, take 80-100 years. $100 dollars of purchasing power in 1776 in today's equivalent dollars, would take approximately $22,800. and, the Unfunded Liabilities are not even in the picture.
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Go to a "Consumption Based Tax System." Best example is the "Fair Tax". Using the Tax Code to enforce "social change" has to stop.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Freedom.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
No formal relationship should exist, meaning that there should be no "state religion." Our Constitution and Laws provided for the Freedom to practice unhindered or abridged by the state. The 501(c)3 Code and all other laws that restrict the free expression of religious beliefs and teachings needs to be amended. Take the handcuffs and gags off the real church.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Constitutionally, the Federal government has no authority under any circumstance. Also, the Federal government cannot require anyone to take "experimental or unapproved" medicines at any time. 1992 U.S. Sup Crt decision Doe #2 vs. Rumsfeld. State government has authority to decide under what conditions to require vaccinations.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C, for the time being. This is really a state matter and all efforts to return function and oversight to the states should be the goal.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
C. I believe in the words of President George Washington when he warded of avoiding foreign entanglements. Unless America, its people, or its public holdings have been attacked we should restrict ourselves to using economic means. Having served with four different military support organizations I have witnessed first hand the trauma and long term consequences of overreaching foreign policy. BTW, on the ROE, if we do send our men and women to fight, let them fight. Also, not one of these protracted "Police Actions" has been approved by Congress since WWII.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
More study is required on this topic.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Without question. They are at war with us. The battlefield is in the intellectual and economic realms. The United States and our industrial and research companies lose an estimated $50 billion dollars a year in GDP. If you have any doubts read the December 2005 speech by Comrader Chi Haotian of China - The Will to Destroy America.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Greater border security as well as enforcement of the laws that already exist. Placing all refugee programs on hold until the processing of all of those that have been relocated to the U.S. has been completed, the deportation of all refugee applicants that fail to appear as promised to their immigration hearings-no exceptions, the deportation of all immigration applicants the fail to comply with U.S. state and local laws, and those that commit any felony or acts of moral turpitude would be a start. i.e. in 1952 the Democrats passed the McCaran-Walters Act regarding immigration violations that were not to be tolerated by visitors to this country. It included approximately 8 and a half pages of "No Can Do Violations for Immigrants." If convicted all acts were subject to immediate deportation.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
“Give me your tired, your poor, Your huddled masses yearning to breathe free, The wretched refuse of your teeming shore. Send these, the homeless, tempest-tossed, to me: I lift my lamp beside the golden door.” ? Emma Lazarus All who can swear before God their true allegiance to this Country, its principles and its people. There should be no promise of support, only the promise to build your own success and live free.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian. The older I get, the greater my life and understanding are guided by the Laws of God and Nature.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Voting integrity is of the highest order. Maintenance of Voter Roles and the sanctity of ballot box is paramount. The allowance of dilution of the vote should be considered a Capital Crime. i.e. On July 29, 1791, a Grand Jury overturned the federal election of 1790 of a Congressional seat for voter fraud. Many of the participants were jailed; but the main conspirators had their U.S. Citizenship revoked and were sent back from where the came. It was considered an act of usurpation.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Removal of computerized voting instruments. No drop boxes. Limit early voting to "in person only" at Elections offices and approved manned satellite offices, as well as a limited number of days prior. Mail-in ballots are for those that have mobility restrictions only. Ask businesses to allow for "Voting Day" to be a half-day. There are always exceptions and situations that arise to expand options. Protection of access and integrity must be balanced.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Radical Racism is a threat. Many groups are disguising hidden political and social agendas under the banner of "racism." True inclusion and integration is not their goal.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Energy independence and meeting the needs of our country should be the guiding principles in all government policy. Seeing that the energy needed, in its many forms, is plentiful and affordable for both public and industrial needs should be the paramount duty of government policy. None of the proposed energy policy statements address the truth that the worlds energy needs have doubled nearly every 20 years.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. We are still two maybe three generation from making a significant shift to carbon free energy. The technology is in its infancy. Our electrical grids are grossly under capable. What has been the effect of all the restrictions on fossil fuels and natural gas this last year... the burning of coal for our power plants is up 30+%.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Nearly 12 years on radio doing interviews on "The News and Views with Gregory Howard."
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I have been an activist for the restoration of the Citizens Right of Presentment before the Grand Jury. This is your right to redress your grievances when all other offices of government have failed in their purpose or duty. In those nations whose legal system are derived from the Common Law, the “rights” of citizens are usually defined in the document which acts as the “legal founding document” of that nation and is generally referred to as a constitution, which, in law, is understood to be a “special contract” between a people and their neighbors who would serve the social and economic needs of the masses as their public servants. Among the rights which are guaranteed to be protected to an individual citizen are, at least, the fundamental rights, i.e., the rights of speech, petition, assembly, and religion; and other rights may be specified, implied, or found in the Common Law, i.e., possession of weapons, choice, privacy, being heard, and travel. “It is the right of any citizen or any individual of lawful age to come forward and prosecute for offenses against the state, ….” In re Lester, 77 Ga. 143, 148 (1886), Justice Hall.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
These instances require review by a Grand Jury on a case-by-case basis. Weight should be given to conduct following departmental policy.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
Each community's elected officials are responsible for the use of resources and are responsible for identifying the balance between public safety and effective community programs, and should be able to adjust as their constituents priorities change. The citizens will hold them accountable for any neglect.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The responsibility for protecting one's own safety and that of their family falls upon the individual. The definition and meaning of "Public Safety" have, in so many instances, been expanded beyond reasonable expectation and Constitutional intent. Therefore, Constitutional superiority on behalf of the Citizens' in relationship with the government requires that: "Any weapon that is available to any civilian governmental entity is to be available to the Citizens, or those not convicted of certain criminal acts or adjudicated mentally incompetent and whose rights have not been restored, without license, tax or further encumbrance in the law." There is no need for any further abridgement of the Second Amendment.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
A few years ago, the number one instrument used in murder was a hammer. Did anyone sue The Home Depot, Ace Hardware or Stanley Tool? No. The instrument is not at issue here. At question is the loss in the value of life and overall societal moral decline.
