QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
When the life of the mother is in jeopardy
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
There's too many loopholes
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
The wasteful and unnecessary spending inside each governmental agency.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Disagree
I don't necessarily believe that it should be guaranteed, but I would like to see local community colleges be a realistic option for individuals wanting to further their education. If individuals are aspiring to further their education; that's a good thing. That's a good thing for families, for local areas, for our state, and it's a good thing for our society as a whole. We should embrace wanting good things while searching for reasonable and realistic solutions to accomplishing them.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B / C If an individual wanted to opt out of their employee healthcare system and allow those funds to then be used to enroll in a governmental healthcare program, they should be allowed to.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Depends on the circumstances
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Did not answer
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Those who go through the proper channels who believe in our founding principles and who value family
EDUCATION
I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.
Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I am a follower of Christ. I believe in Jesus and that He is the Son of God.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Briefly is the tough part here. God is absolutely real. I believe I have a personal and intimate relationship with Him and I'm constantly see Him working in my life and in the life's of others
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
I do strongly disagree, but in order for me to vote that, I have to know that we are going above and beyond to ensure that a proper form of photo identification is easily accessible to everyone. I would like to believe that it is, but I am not certain of it.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Missouri redistricting deadlines need to be changed and are currently unconstitutional. While maybe not a "present voting practice", it is a flaw in our overall election process that must be addressed and fixed.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is always a threat. No one should ever be treated differently because of the color of their skin.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
There are more productive and meaningful actions to take than throwing money at the problem. Throwing money at the problem isn't the solution
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
B. I think it's more of an issue of the who, not the what. We need to make sure the right people, with the right ethics and moral compass are the ones in place. Then environmental goals and expectations will far exceed our laws. The right people in place would be pushing our laws to play catch up, not the other way around.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
Again, more of the who, not the what. The wrong people should not be doing it, but the right people with the right ethics and moral compass I believe could help us in the transition to a better and greener future. We need to work together in achieving this goal.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To ensure domestic tranquility and help everyone to enjoy life. Our government should make our lives easier, not more difficult.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
Family law and court system reform. Maternity leave improvements and protections. Treatment of expecting mothers needs to be improved. False allegations of domestic abuse should be specifically listed and considered as a form of domestic violence. False allegations of abuse can amount to the same level of mental, physical, and emotional duress as other forms of abuse and should be actionable against if proven to be done maliciously or with intent to harm. Free trials, or those greatly reduced should end as a free trial; not be automatically billed. Tax changes for 18 and under. Automatic lights in our women's restrooms that turn on prior to entering at all government restrooms. Women should not have to enter a dark restroom to turn on the lights to use the restrooms in our parks, or other government maintained facilities.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
I am for police immunity, but just because it's department policy doesn't mean it's morally or ethically correct, that the policy is being applied correctly, or that the circumstances warrant those or certain actions. Police officers need to be individuals who can, have the freedom, and use their ability and judgement to perform and do whatever the circumstances may require to arrive at the best possible outcome; even if it may go against policy.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
Police officers need the funding necessary to do their job. If there is an excess or a possibility to repurpose funds to help them to do their job better, then I'm for that, but they have to have the proper funding to be able to do their job, and to do it safely.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Did not answer
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Disagree
