QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The life of the mother

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I do NOT want to pay to murder babies

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

I support natural death only. Assisted suicide is nothing less than state sanctioned murder

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Corporate and personal income tax should be no higher than 15%. Florida must remain personal income tax free.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Government employees are well in excess of what is realistic. Many programs overlap and are duplicated. As far as Florida is concerned we are presently running a surplus.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

In state tuition is already affordable and there are enough private grants to cover those expenses. In addition federal and state funding for K-12 should stay with the student. Wherever parents and students decide to attend school as long as they are qualified that is where the government funds should go.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

No person should be forced to perform a service, sell products or manufacture anything, including baked goods that violate there religious beliefs

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. It is not practical to do away with Medicaid and Medicare has been pain into for years by those that have it. Medicaid should not be expanded.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances. Unfortunately at this juncture the government has lost all credibility so if a pandemic on a scale of what smallpox or Black Death they could still not be trusted with the facts and the truth therefore they have forfeited the right to make dictates on public health.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Seal our borders for starters. Clean out the corruption in the agencies that abuse the powers to prevent terror from using it on political opponents. The anti-American Islamic schools supported by the Saudis need to be shut down. Any state harboring that hatred and exporting it all trade should be cancelled. Increase support for Israel in their fight against terror and support Arab nations such as those that were a party to the Abraham Accords that are fighting the Islamic extremism in their countries

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

BDS is simply an anti-Semitic tool used by left wing extremists and companies supporting such a farce like Israel being an apartheid state should be held accountable and their business should be curtailed l, if possible eliminated in The State of Florida

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Not only finish the wall, but put Remain in Mexico Policy back in force. Anyone applying for asylum that has passed through other friendly countries should be denied asylum automatically. I would advocate for a law in Florida if you entered the country illegally, therefore you are in Florida illegally and will be held to account with a minimum 5 year prison sentence. If you are convicted of another crime and are here illegally the 5 year sentence should be added to your sentence

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

My family came to America due to economic hardship and that is fine if there is a need of workers as there was at the turn of the century when my family along with millions of others migrated. Others that should be granted visas must have something to add to the country. Immigrants should have a job waiting or family responsible for them. Immigrants should not arrive here to be wards of the state. Legitimate student exchange and return to their home countries. Our immigration should be legitimate humanitarian and based on the needs of the US

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I touched on this earlier. Government funding should be attached to the student and not the school

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I will paraphrase George Washington, without leaders of high moral character our government can never survive. We are on the precipice of losing our country do to the falling of moral character within our nation. Corruption is rampant in our government, in our schools, in our corporations and in some instances our churches. The family structure is the 1st line of defense against corruption. We must be involved and hold our elected and employees of government to a high moral standard

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Not even a question.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

Although I do not agree with the lifestyle I do believe some provisions should be made for those not to be separated at end of life. It is a very complicated issue that should be tempered with compassion and a nuanced approach would be an solution rather than the SCOTUS just approving marriage out of whole cloth.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a nonsensical hat filled indoctrination of our children taught to hate one another. We are not a racist country nor is it filled with white supremacist everywhere. As a country we have made enormous strides from the days of the racial politics of the Democrats. Slavery and Jin Crow are theirs as is the racial divide permeating through our country people of good will must speak the truth and not shy away from the evil that is racial divide pushed by Obama and Democrats

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a practicing Catholic that attends Mass weekly. Unlike the "Catholics" of the Democrat party I support life from conception to natural death. I also believe abortion can be eradicated but it must me done incrementally or we lose too many potential supporters Marriage is between a man and a woman and in the eyes of God and not mandated by government. My faith has brought me from very difficult life events and brought me to a life of honesty, integrity and trustworthiness. Faith in God is a very important piece of my life. That faith gives me the empathy to look at various issues to make allowances without compromising my beliefs. I do not shy w away from any issue nor compromise my belief.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

A photo ID for Something as important as voting should be non negotiable. The only reason to advocate for no ID is to cheat. It really is that simple

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I will push going back to Election Day and do away with early voting. If more polling places and workers need to added to accommodate it simply do it. Vote by mail is an invitation to cheating. Absentee ballots should be allowed for military and expatriates that work overseas and those provably infirm. Electronic machines should also be eliminated. They are not secure. No matter what is done to secure them they can still be hacked. Programs can be written to commit voter fraud. Lastly as done here in Florida an arm of state law enforcement trained to investigate voter fraud and severe penalties to those convicted

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is a threat but not the made up racism being "advocated" by the left but the racism the left is fostering is divisive and dangerous to our country

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

No one alive were slaves and many of our ancestors were not even here during slavery. I was named for a Captain in the Union Army that was my grandfathers grandfather I believe. I see no reason why reparations should be paid to anyone

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A Much of the environmental laws are nothing more than government overreach for political and/control reasons. There are many regulations that certainly help the environment but there are at least as many and likely more that do nothing

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

Most problems related to fracking has been debunked. The US removes oil from the ground cleaner &more efficient than anywhere in the world. The price of gas at the pump would be cut in 1/2 if our oil industry were unleashed

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Protecting the public, whether that is from foreign invaders or a criminal population Government should be enforcing contract law and property rights Our government has devolved into a bloated bureaucracy that either can't or won't protect the citizenry Local and state governments should be involved a little more of daily life such as quality of life ordinances, clean water. In the end it all comes down to enforcing the laws on the books as governments main function

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

I consider myself a conservative. A person that believes in America First. I believe in The Constitution as written. I believe in American Exceptionalism. America's founding was divinely inspired by brilliant yet flawed men Government should be limited and stars should make and enforce the majority of our law. I believe an informed electorate will save our country. I believe our rights are from God I believe family is paramount and will produce to the moral leaders we need

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Did not answer

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I have had problems with addiction and the law almost 50 years ago.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Did not answer

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

It is my belief it would be impossible to do the job of law enforcers if every move would be subject to arrest and prosecution. Of course if they break the law they should be subject to the same laws and penalties as everyone else

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Nonsense. We need a strong well funded police department. Very simple

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I am not in favor of red flag laws. However I am not adverse to someone "obviously" going off the deep end to be disarmed. This is not just black and white. Due process should not be done away with except in extreme cases. If a person is making threats of violence on social media or in the public that person should give up their firearms

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Guns do t kill people. People kill people. PERIOD
