QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I do not support exceptions that allow for the intentional destroying of innocent, unborn human life.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
A recent report ranked Ohio with one of the worst overall tax rates in the country. We have the 9th highest tax rate in the country. I support SB 327 which would eliminate the state income tax in Ohio over the next 10 years. I support elimination of the Commercial Activity Tax (CAT) I also support simplification of the tax code - flat tax.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Scrutinize the budget and eliminate wasteful spending and fraud (Unemployment & Medicaid) Limit borrowing/pay down debt.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Never: Scripture commands believers not to forsake the assembling together (Hebrews 10:25) First Amendment to the Constitution of the United States, "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or "prohibiting the free exercise thereof..."
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Ohio spends more taxpayer dollars on Medicaid as a percent of its state budget than any other state in the country, according to a WalletHub. Reform is desperately needed - curb fraud and waste. I do not support universal healthcare.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Individuals should not have to choose between their job/education or receiving a vaccination that may conflict with their personal or religious beliefs or medical reasons. Health decisions should be made by the indvidual, in consultation with their doctor, and not because of medical mandates in the workplace/educational setting or to participate in public commerce. I support vaccine choice, healthcare privacy, and protection from discrimination based on vaccination status.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Finish building the wall, thoroughly vet Muslim immigrants, increase enforcement to reduce illegal immigration, and work with our allies around the world to share intelligence.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Strongly Agree
I support the Backpack Bill HB 290
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I support HB 61 Save Womens Sport Act
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and I believe in the Bible as the inspired Word of God. I believe in the one, living, and true God as eternally being Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. I believe in the deity of Jesus Christ who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, who was crucified, died, and buried and was resurrected. I believe in the forgiveness of sins through the shed blood of Jesus alone. I believe in eternal life and salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
If you are not a citizen, you don't get to vote. Shorten early voting period. Limit both the number ballot boxes and the duration of its use.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Did not answer
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree

No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I agree with President Reagan who said, “I hope we once again have reminded people that man is not free unless government is limited. As government expands, liberty contracts." I am an unapologetic Pro-Life Conservative. I am honored to be endorsed by Ohio Right to Life PAC & Right to Life Action Coalition. I have also been endorsed by NFIB, Ohio Value Voters, Ohio Republican PAC, and received a Grade of A+ from Ohio Advocates for Medical Freedom. I care deeply about the community we live in and will fight to protect our conservative values and way of life. Experience matters - 25 years of small business experience, 21 years of faithful public service, and a proven track record of influencing public policy at all levels. I am well-equipped to represent our district and our way of life. I have the experience and dedication to continue the conservative leadership we expect in this district. It would be my honor to have your support and vote. Thank you!

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree

The right to keep and bear arms is fundamental to who we are as a nation. "A well-regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to Keep and bear Arms, SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED."
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
