I am Gavriel Soriano, that son of The 11th and proud Republican who will establish victory for our conservative values in the 118th United States Congress. A year ago, I put boots-to-the-ground in the counties of The 11th on a quest for answers to three basic questions: First, What three issues in the state of our Republic are of most concern to you? Second, How is your Congressman addressing these issues? Third, How does the Constitution provide a solution? The answers resulted in the United States Strong mission. This platform, as a fruit of America First, comprehends three foundational actions that I will undertake in representing the will of The 11th in Congress: First in the United States Strong mission is Unifying People to Build Strong Families that go on to Establish Communities Strong in civic conscience and enterprise. Second in the United States Strong mission is to Secure Representation in A person representative, one who walks amongst the People of his district to know them; A person transparent, one who sits amongst the People to be known by them; A person accountable, one who answers the hard questions and equally as important, asks them; A person bold, one who accomplishes the will of the People in Congress. These qualities I require of myself, I require of my colleagues, and I require of the congressional process. Third in the United States Strong mission is protecting, preserving, and defending the integrity of Constitutional governance, which rests on the Consent of the People. To this end, I have already begun to develop district-wide county task forces composed of We The People who will scrutinize the fifteen federal departments and their systems and work toward constitutional governance by dismantling the loopholes, limiting the reach, and disbanding superfluous offices. And by the strength of these task forces, we of The 11th will topple the fundamental drivers of the issues that are assaulting our people. Today I recall that ardent spirit of Liberty that has made America great. Since the age of 11, I worked in building my family’s business of sustainable farming and land management to establish food resources on a local level. When I graduated formative learning, I continued in the path less trodden, volunteering in a religious capacity for three years at a state hospital for the confinement of people suffering with mental illness. I returned to the land a greater advocate of community involvement and a greater opponent to Big Government. And so, I took on former patients as apprentices on the farm to help them learn a trade and become productive members of a society made foreign to them after years of confinement. In addition, during respective years I worked the elections, that office where the Right of the Citizen begins to communicate the motion of our Country. A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. Comment: While I believe that nature will outlast mankind, we are stewards of the earth and a product of our actions upon it. Environmental laws and regulations are required; however, we cannot effectively destroy our economy and much less mankind with the institution of laws and regulations that harshly intrude on the basic necessities of life, such as food, energy, shelter, and the economic stability that allows to procure these. Moreover, if we are replacing unsustainable practices, they must be replaced with truly sustainable practices rather than with another set of unsustainable practices that debilitate our earth and its resources just as much as at present. It took decades of irresponsible behavior to get us to this point; we must recognize that it will take at least a measure of decades to return us to a point of sustainability.
