OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I believe we need to keep the Hyde Amendment. We should block federal funds from being used to pay for abortion and abortion services, here in America and overseas.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

In the rare case that the mother's life is indeed endangered by a continuation of the pregnancy, sound medical practice would dictate that every effort be made to save both lives. That is what doctors take an oath to do when they become doctors.

ECONOMY

Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.

Strongly Disagree

I believe in free market economics where everyone has the chance and ability to own their financial future. Redistribution of wealth and income is the transfer of income and wealth (including physical property) from some individuals to others through a social mechanism such as taxation, welfare, monetary policies and confiscation. Having the government decide who to take from and then perform a forced transfer is unconstitutional.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.

Strongly Agree

Our "Tax and Spend" policies have brought us to the brink of disaster.

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Our tax code is fair to no one. The tax code needs a complete overhaul.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.

Strongly Agree

I was raised and educated in a parochial school where I learned my religion and love of country. My parents had school choice for their children, and I will fight to protect our Constitutional rights and our religious liberty.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

What should be the relationship between the church and the state?

The government has no right to direct the church.

HEALTHCARE

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

The government as an employer does have the right and private employers have the right under the law. But the Government does not have the right to mandate anyone individual to receive vaccinations if they do not work for the government. It should be up to the parents if they choose to have their children vaccinated.

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

NATIONAL SECURITY

With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.

B) We need to protect America's National interests and ensure the treaties we sign are in our own best interests and the interest of peace and security. I believe in "Peace Through Strength" to prevent war. I understand this as someone who has been to war.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

I support the right of Israel to exist. When your neighbors threaten your existence, you have the right to fight back. I do not believe most Americans really understand the complexities of the issue. I support The Abraham Accords.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

I have spent over 3 years living in Asia and a lifetime studying (The Naval War College) the issue of Chinese aggression. The Chinese believe they are the "Middle Kingdom" and have rights to all the world and its resources. We have given the CCP exactly what it wants and will pay the price if we do not change our policies.

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

I am not sure we can completely eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism, but we must be forever vigilant. We can engage Muslim-Americans to help as members of a free society that want peace and stability.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The hypocrisy on this issue is overwhelming. For decades every politician from both sides of the aisle called for border security until the 45th President made it his platform. We currently have no southern border.

State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

We need a complete overhaul of our immigration laws. We need to build a society based on fairness and on the needs of the country. Those who come here illegally should not be given sanctuary and need to get in line behind those who have applied legally.

VALUES

Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

I believe in fairness to all but not based on identity politics.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Catholic and believe in compassion and forgiveness.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Present voter ID, signature verification, chain of custody controls, bipartisan observers, and cleaning up voter rolls.

EQUALITY

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. Sadly, the issue of race has been politicized to the extent that truth is getting sidelined. Most Americans are not racist regardless of what we are told in the media. I served alongside every race imaginable over 4 decades. There are and will always be racists, but they are a tiny minority of Americans. Good people of all races will always prevail and help their fellow countrymen succeed.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Agree

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

We need a balance between environmental laws and our need for energy.

ABOUT YOU

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCiq6bM7dxDQWMS-uth95J4Q

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My parents, Ruth & Jack, were my greatest inspiration and my “North Star” throughout life. My father was a WWII vet who fought in the Pacific and my mother a homemaker who raised six children in a two-bedroom, one bath house. My parents and siblings were blessed to have school choice and we attended the local parochial school. Coming from humble beginnings I have been blessed to have the opportunities that have been presented to me in America. I joined the Navy at 17 and retired a Navy Captain (0-6). Having served across the globe with the U.S. Navy has given me firsthand experience in Foreign Affairs. My experience includes being a veteran of the war in Afghanistan as a Senior Officer assigned to NATO, the International Security Assistance Force under GEN Petraeus. When in Asia I patrolled the East China Sea and have specific knowledge concerning Taiwan and the threat China poses to the U.S. During my years in Washington, D.C. I oversaw the production of F-35s, America’s latest generation of supersonic, stealth, fighter planes. As a civilian, I developed expertise in the telecommunications industry and understand the issues we have with electronic media censorship as well as being a small business owner. As war veteran, an engineer, years of experience in D.C., international experience at a senior level with our allies and success in business, I offer my district a distinct difference from the other candidates. My belief is that I understand the issues facing us in FL CD-15 and would be best suited to lead our nation in Congress. My legislative priorities include the following: Fight Inflation, Eliminate Woke Agenda from Military and Government, Ensure Veterans Rights and Healthcare, Protect Children and Parental Rights in Education, Eliminate the Department of Education, Build the Wall and Protect our Border, Fix our Unfair Tax Code or Abolish the IRS, Back the Blue, Establish Election Integrity Audit, Investigate Hunter Biden’s Laptop, Honor Term Limit Pledge (I have signed, see my YouTube page), Follow the Constitution and Ensure Constitutional Rights for All.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

The police across the Nation have been maligned and disparaged due to a few bad cops. If the departmental policy (law) is followed, we should not let criminals have the upper hand.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

We currently do not even have enough funds to hire, train and equip our police to do the incredibly important and dangerous job of public safety.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I support the 2nd amendment. Politicizing the issue of gun ownership will only prolong our national nightmare of murders and school shootings. We need to address the root cause and develop a corrective action that does not involve politics. Thinking gun control is the answer will be a placebo that will disappoint all and continue the madness.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
