My religion is Christianity because I grew up in a Church of Christ household; as I have gotten older, I have started to yearn for knowledge and clarity on our beginnings. My utmost belief is to do unto others as you would want them to do unto you.
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.

I understand that identity is a monumental concern but in the act of being fair, I think athletes should be categorized by their biological sex.

Parents and PCP's should be responsible for sexual education and everything that comes with it including pregnancy, STD's, HIV, etc. It should be taught at beginning of puberty regardless of age.

I grew up in the Mansfield area so I have observed the growth of all the schools currently in existence as well as the booming population. Also, I graduated in the district and played varsity sports for Summit. With that been said, I am well versed in the community with being a youth coach and attending the schools in the area. MISD was amongst the best districts when I was attending these schools so I would like to help the district return to prominence.

I support mask mandates because I have been directly impacted by COVID. I have had family get sick including myself as well as family dying from it. I will always support something that increases the overall health and safety of our children and community.
