OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

None

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Changes that encourage small businesses, and encourage marriage, so getting rid of the marriage penalty.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Review all programs for wasteful spending.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Not everyone goes to college, so people should not have to pay for the ones who choose not to go. There is already financial aid available for those who cannot afford it.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but not other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No circumstances.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

The United States should have a strong military and develop better intelligence. The United States should not do business with countries that are not involved in terrorism or harbor terrorists.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Choose not to answer

I support the right of Israel to exist and to defend themselves from terrorists and other nations. I support the rights and equality of the Palestinian people to live as free and equal citizens in their homeland. Everything we do as a country should support these aims.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Choose not to answer

The United States needs to protect it's citizens by keeping drugs, weapons and terrorists from entering. Immigration reform should address the needs of the United States in bringing in potential workers who can contribute to the building up of our country. Physical structures are necessary to secure the orderly processing of people into the country.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who have the desire and capacity to being contributing members of the United States and their dependents. Legitimate asylum seekers especially those that have assisted the United States.

Voting laws in Ohio are adequate to ensure access to voting and to ensure security of the vote.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A. Our country has done a lot to clean up the environment over the last 50 years, reducing air and water pollution and we need to continue to invest in cleaner energy, and make more forms of energy available.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Attended and worked at Catholic schools, which depended on religious liberty. Everything from where I have attended school to where I work now, has been based on religious liberty. I would be unemployed without religious liberty.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I want to protect freedom of families to be involved in the education of their children. I want to protect the life of every citizen from conception until natural death. I want to protect second amendment rights as written in the constitution. I want to protect small businesses and loosen regulations so they can function more efficiently for their customers.

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Agree

Rules should be reviewed to make sure they are sensible, and respect the rights of everyone.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Along with funding the police, we need to ensure that mental and health and community programs are also funded to make the police offers jobs safer and the communities safer.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

People with a history of violent felonies should not have access to guns.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Disagree

Unless the dealer or manufacturer violated the law.
