I have no problems with legal contracts between two or more parties that establishes financial agreements of property. Marriage is based on religious sacraments established ions ago between a Man and a Woman for the purpose of having children and establishing stability for those children. I strongly suspect the concept ofleft same sex marriage is another left wing shot at religious values striving to destroy the conservative and traditions of marriage.

I don't want to open the legal doors for every conceivable ideology to display filth and garbage on Public School and Courthouse walls. The Courts are not our friends and will absolutely allow ALL ideologies to participate if the 10 Commandments are Displayed. Unfortunately we do not have an exclusive right. No matter how we defend our Religious treasures the Left will find a way to soil the message. Public Schools must remain neutral on all religious ideologies.

Again, my disagreements over this matter are based on the legal fact that if one religious ideology is allowed then any and all are allowed. Here we have the potential of exposure of our children to extremes in a Public School where we as parents will have little control. Courts will decide the doors are wide open for any and all ideologies that will certainly entice some of our children away from their Parents religious belief. If local government want to supplement the income of local citizens with local tax dollars it may be ok if approved by the tax payers. Federal and State Governments should not take money from the population for redistribution of income.

Generally it hasn't worked. Federal and even State Money seems to damage the success of Public Education. It strangles the ability to educate with experimental social programs and red tape which destroys the ability of teachers to teach. National Assessment Education Progress should be ignored by all States with any common sense. This assessment battery of test is laced with Common Core questions and laced with Socially divisive questions. Mandated by Congress this test has become the central goal of all Public School academics, teaching to the test is the classroom goals. States should immediately notify the Federal Government NAEP will not be complied with.

Well, Public School are not doing a good job. Teachers and Administrators consistently blame PARENTS for the failure of Students when schools strongly oppose parent involvement. School Board meetings where parents are arrested for speaking out against content, speaking out against lack of discipline and classroom control. Parents are the legal authority for everything related to their children's safety, care, education, social activities, medical care and sexual conduct, etc...

Actually, I Strongly Disagree in that CSE and SEL should never see the doors of a Public School. Why teach subjects like this when the children are not masters of the Basic Academic Requirements like READING and MATHEMATICS. No one is qualified to teach CSE and SEL in Public Schools and never will be qualified. If the Government desires to build a building far away from the Public Schools System and financed with money separate from Education money and voluntary, then ok.

Alabama currently receives about 9% of their total Education budget from the Federal Government. Special Education however is almost 100% funded by that 9% and would basically be unfunded without federal funds. Alabama would have to adjust the budget to keep necessary and proper programs. Like all government programs public schools consume funds managing complex Federal and State programs that could be locally controlled (Block Grants no strings). Strings cost money and consume education.

I recommended we do away with uniformed School Resource Officers with a program of Teachers who are Alabama Police Officer Standards and Training and deputized by the County Sheriff. They would be required to work Patrol as a second officer at least eight hours a month. Additionally they would be required to qualify with their assigned firearm every month. Additional pay and benefits for their duty up to $2000.00 per month with liability insurance.

Mask are nasty and probably cause more health issues than they mitigate. Adults and Children tend to touch their noses with their bare hand more often if wearing a mask, this obviously is not a good thing. Mask inhibit learning, conversations are not understood. Distractors reduce learning and Mask are indeed distractors

I am and have been for years a Classical Liberal much like the majority of our Founding Fathers. Please research Classical Liberal before condemning me as a liberal. Basically, limited government, keep government as local as possible, when you ask government to do ANYTHING you give up a portion of your Life, Liberty and Property piece by piece. Government is necessary and proper but must be limited. The 9th and 10 Amendments must be exercised or lost.
