The tax code should be markedly simplified. A flat tax should certainly be considered.

I would take a strong look for all areas of overlap and duplication of services within the government and consolidate those services. Also, I believe the federal government is involved in multiple areas that are constitutional powers belonging to the states. I would eliminate these departments- starting with the Dept of Education. In addition, I would have every government program provide data as to its program's effectiveness. Each program not performing well would be eliminated.

I believe to have a self limited government we must have a strong moral code. The less moral a society becomes the more government that is needed to control its citizens. The US has been in moral decline for the past half century resulting in more and more government intervention. Our moral code begins with prayer and the sanctity of life. The legalization of abortion has cheapened our society's sanctity of life resulting in school shootings etc., plus the lack of prayer in our schools has made the erosion of religion and our core values diminished.

I believe this responsibility includes obtaining photo ID, registering to vote in timely fashion, and showing up in person on election day or taking time to request absentee ballot if needed. I would eliminate all mail-in ballots and any procedure allowing persons not fitting the responsibilities listed above.

The use of racism as an excuse for all that ails our society is the threat. I have seen racism become markedly improve throughout my lifetime. The threat to our domestic security is using race as a way to divide the citizens and reduce the effectiveness of our police force.

I am a conservative Republican, and I would be honored to serve as the State Representative for the citizens of the 78th Congressional district. I am pro-life, pro-family, and pro-constitution. Up to this point, my career has been in the medical field- both in private practice and in education. I feel compelled to run for this seat, because I am witnessing the explicit eroding of our God-given rights and freedoms in this great country. As a concerned citizen, I cannot remain passive and silent. A primary function of our government is to secure and defend the rights and liberties granted to us citizens by the Constitution. In the past two years, our government has moved to drastically reduce our freedoms and censor our speech. We must bring this overwhelming government back under the control of the people. Legislative priorities include working to stop government mandates for vaccination and masking. In addition, I would use my background in education and healthcare to effect policy in these realms. I would sponsor any legislation to permit parents more control of their child's education including curriculum changes, freedom to pick their school, and parental freedom issues. In healthcare, I would fight for limiting government intervention.
