OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I would ban abortion from conception with 3 exceptions: 1. Safety of the mother - The mother faces risk of death or severe health risks 2. Rape 3. Incest All within the first 12 weeks, 1st trimester

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Many 1. I believe we can start by reducing and moving towards eliminating the individual income tax in the State of Michigan 2. PPT should be completly eliminated 3. The EITC should be reduced (not increased like proposed) and move to eliminate I know from experience helping individuals preparing their tax returns, that this law encourages people NOT to work

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would reduce the tax burden on the taxpayers of Michigan when tax revenues are increased through other means, such as sales taxes raised from marijuana and gambling taxes. I would set spending priorities based on what I hear from my constituents of my district.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

Certain people will want to go to trade schools and rightfully so, which I believe would then be treated unfairly if college is paid for.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

never

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

none

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Control the borders

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Everyone who shows NO criminal history and is PROPERLY processed like they once were.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I personally believe in my marriage to my wife, but it is NOT my responsibility nor the government's to dictate who to love and enter into a scared and legal contract with and commit their life to.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christian, I believe in GOD and Jesus Christ!

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

1. A State issued picture ID should be required to vote 2. Absentee ballots should only be produced to voters that have been verified 3. Ballot boxes can NOT be unsupervised 3. Ballot boxes accepting completed ballots, should never be unsupervised

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No The Next Generation population - everyone under 25 - Most of this population Does NOT see racism as a problem, therefore I believe the future is looking better

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

It should support US citizens, NOT control them.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have represented small businesses throughout the country since 1986. I have found that the less government control over what small businesses do and how they do it, the better off they are. Small businesses are the heart of every community. Large corporations at one time were a small business fighting to make a difference. I taught Federal Tax Law and State Tax Law at Depaul University in their MST program for a number of years when I was in my late 20's. Therefore, I was and still am well respected in the field of taxation. Over the years I have assisted thousands of businesses navigate the complicated tax code along with local and state regulations.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I have proven throughout my career to be a leader in helping individuals and businesses that represent both sides of the political aisle and have come up with great solutions. I will represent individuals and businesses throughout the 38th House District in the State of Michigan like no other.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

2ND AMENDMENT

None

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
