QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
ECONOMY
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Employer and employee should be able to determine what one is willing to pay and the other is willing to work for.
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None. The first amendment of our nation's Constitution guarantees freedom of assembly, and that Constitution is the highest law of our land.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
I personally prefer option D, if the government is to be limited to its rightful jurisdiction; but I realize that options B or C are more likely to be favored by many of the people I represent.
NATIONAL SECURITY
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Very important, I believe, and the reasons are contained in Scripture. Jesus Christ will come to physically reign on the earth, and when He does, He will judge the nations based on their treatment of the nation of Israel (Matthew 25:31–46; Zechariah 14). We would be wise to stand as a friend of Israel rather than join the nations who seek her destruction. The efforts to annihilate Israel have never been successful in 3700 years, and anyone who thinks they can thwart the plan of God is a fool.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Agree
Physical barriers will not fully fix a problem that was designed and is propagated by a globalist agenda to bring America down.
EDUCATION
I support a constitutional amendment that would allow Kentucky’s General Assembly to set up a school choice program to allow dollars to follow children to the school of their choice.
Agree
VALUES
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
Parental rights are a fundamental right, and parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from harm, including from gender ideology and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I was born again at the age of five and grew up in a theologically and doctrinally conservative home. Throughout my life I have been an active member of local churches everywhere I have lived, and currently I serve in my local church primarily through music. Jesus Christ is my Savior and the Lord of my life, and I am a Christian before anything else. My identity is securely grounded in Christ and I do not need money, power, or fame to satisfy me or make me feel valued. I believe the Bible is the inspired, inerrant, infallible Word of God, and I believe it is completely true, including when it says that every deed of every person will be brought into judgment one day. I desire to live every day with this future judgment in view.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Agree
I believe marriage is indeed God ordained, meaning that the government does not need to also provide a legal ordination. That has become the way our country operates, however, over the last 100 years. To the point of marriage being rightfully between one natural man and one natural woman, I wholeheartedly agree.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Disagree
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
The electoral college is an ingenious method of voting for our President, and to undermine or abolish that method would induce terrible consequences.
EQUALITY
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
I support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).
Strongly Disagree
These particular words sound like good, sensible ideas, but their meaning is a word salad of evil ideologies that are destroying the moral fiber of our nation.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Although I am no expert on energy sources, I do believe the environmental agenda is a globalist agenda designed to destroy America and I have no desire for that. I would love for the United States to produce its own oil again.
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
C
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To secure and protect the rights and freedoms of its people
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None. The second amendment of the United States Constitution says very plainly that the right to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. No infringements. Restricting gun ownership is not a solution for public safety. Criminals are people who break laws. There can never be enough laws to stop lawbreakers from breaking laws. Public safety is actually at its highest in areas where strong men who are well trained do what good, strong men do: protect people.
Faculty who are licensed to carry and have had ongoing training should be allowed to carry guns at school in order to respond to an active shooter situation.
Strongly Agree

Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?
No
