QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Rape, incest and if the mothers life is in extreme danger.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Do you support the proposed Yes for Life amendment to the Kentucky Constitution, which makes clear that there is no state constitutional right to abortion?
Yes
There is absolutely no right for murder.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
We're taxed on absolutely everything from electric to gas to being paid for work yet we never see any real benefit. Our tax code is a joke and needs a complete overhaul. I'd be glad to discuss my thought in person or via phone as there simply isn't enough room here for me answer this question correctly.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
As far as state spending goes I'd want to look at all line items from the budget and start there. I'm sure we over pay for about every item and every service, padding the pockets of the select few. I'd first start with infrastructure, our contracting process and so forth. We should be paying more to better citizens lives and less to better certain bank accounts.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Neutral
This should be put to a vote by every citizen of this state and if it did pass anyone who fails out should have to repay.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None!! People have the right to worship as they see fit.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C would be closest to my view however billing rates need overhauled bad. A hospital should not be able to charge what they currently do. I also think networks etc need to be done away with as that would open up the market and allow a more competitive nature giving us better rates and plans for our health coverage.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None. Who is any person to tell another they must put something in their body.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Having served in Iraq we should have been allowed to actually fight the war instead of having our hands tied behind our backs. Had they done that there wouldn't be Islamic extremists.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
I stand with Israel and they absolutely should be allowed to defend their lands as they see fit.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Our southern border should be fully secured. We should also bill Mexico anytime we spend tax dollars dealing with those that violate law illegally crossing that border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Anyone should be allowed to immigrate after a very thorough vetting process. They however should have to adhere to our customs etc and learn what it is to be a proud American.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
CRT is a poison that should not be allowed anywhere near our schools.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian who believes in and loves the Lord up above.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Absentee ballots should be highly regulated and strict, photo ID must be shown and our election security should be of the utmost priority.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
I believe true racism is few and far between in this county and I do NOT think it to be a domestic threat by any stretch. I believe antifa and blm to be a domestic threat.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Option A is in line with my opinion.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
Simply to protect this country and the citizens within it and to maintain infrastructure. I believe in a small government with more freedom.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I proudly served this country as a United States Marine and further as a federal and state employee. I've spent my life serving this country and state and now wish to serve the citizens on a different level. I want to see a tax code overhaul taking the weight off the middle and lower class as well as lowering and eliminating taxes. I want to see more personal freedom, our constitutional rights further strengthened and a smaller government not over reaching.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Neutral
I support law enforcement however there are good and bad in any profession. If an officer knowingly violates the law or someone rights they should have no immunity from prosecution or suit.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The NFA is unconstitutional!! The 2nd Amendment is very clear and we should stop all those trying to chip away at our second amendment. I'm am avid gun owner and shooter. I own suppressors, short barrel rifles/shotguns and various nfa items and thing the process is absolutely ridiculous when it's the difference of a pistol brace or stock. I think full autos that are post 1986 should be legal for civilian ownership. There may be some as passionate about the second amendment as I am however they will never be someone more passionate.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
A firearm is an Inanimate object as a person has to pick it up and use it. It's absolutely no fault of the firearm and all the fault of the person. Why should the manufacturer be liable as it would be no different than holding GM liable if a drunk driver uses one of their vehicles.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?
Yes
The LGBTQ+ agenda’s advocacy for puberty blockers, biological males competing on girls’ sports teams, and allowing biological males into girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and showers threatens the wellbeing of our children.
Strongly Agree
Sex is determined at birth and sports should be based on biological sex.
