RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
If the mother is in imminent danger of dying or if the pregnancy is in the first trimester and the result of sexual assault, especially incest or abuse of a minor child or teenager.
iVoterGuide Notes:
Candidate notified iVoterGuide.com of this clarification, 'Those who fraudulently declare a pregnancy to be in immediate danger Those who fraudulently declare a pregnancy to be an immediate danger to the mother’s life or the result of criminal rape or incest should face felony criminal charges."
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I believe that state funding should go toward providing birth control for low-income women, but not through an abortion provider.
iVoterGuide Notes:
Candidate notified iVoterGuide.com of this clarification, "I am referring to traditional birth control to avoid pregnancy, and not abortion pills. The abortion industry is a plague on our society with practices that can rightly be described as barbaric torture of unborn babies. I believe the evil buying and selling of aborted baby bodies is an abomination and will lead to a culture of death that accepts the killing of newborns, as well. Babies are a blessing and should be loved and celebrated."
Do you support the proposed Yes for Life amendment to the Kentucky Constitution, which makes clear that there is no state constitutional right to abortion?
Yes
A Constitutional right to abortion could be construed by courts to mean that abortion should be legal up to the day of birth. I support this measure to protect the unborn from judges who would legislate from the bench.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Such laws could be misapplied and allow for the murder of helpless people.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The state income tax should be abolished. We also need to cut government waste and lower the rates of other taxes or eliminate them.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Our bureaucratic government system has grown far too large while basic government responsibilities, such as state road and highway maintenance, are being neglected. I would require all non-essential government departments to cut their expenses by ten percent over two years unless excepted by the legislature. If these conditions are not met, the heads of the Departments would see a 20 percent reduction in their pay. Expenses would be reassessed every two years for the next budget cycle with an eye on completely eliminating unnecessary programs and departments. I would divert this money directly to road and infrastructure improvements and reductions in taxes.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
Many students begin college and then drop out. Taxpayers should not bear that burden. State-backed, low-interest-rate loans should be provided for qualifying students. If loans are not repaid, then debtors should have to work part-time to pay their debts to taxpayers. Loan money provided by hard-working tax-payers needs to be respected and returned to the people.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Small, family-owned businesses should have the absolute right to refuse service to anyone at anytime.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
Under no circumstances should government be allowed to close a church that is operating as a church normally does.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Medical freedom is our God-given right. Under no circumstances should a government, school or employer be allowed to require vaccinations. They can be encouraged, but not required. If someone is sick, they can be asked to go home or stay home for the duration of their illness.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Finish building the wall. Enact strict background checks for immigrants from countries that are known for terrorist activities.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Neutral
Although I would love to go, I have not been to Israel. I don't trust media or government sources of international news, so I cannot express an informed opinion. I hope that someday Israelis and Palestinians can live side by side or together in peace.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
It is unacceptable that our southern border is not yet secure when we see illegal immigrants pass through. This creates a very dangerous situation for US citizens as well as for women and children who are trafficked over the border.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Only people who love the United States and have something to offer our country should be allowed to immigrate here.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Competition always improves the quality of a product, including education. We have seen in other states that teacher pay and working conditions improve with competition. This policy will also give low and middle-income parents a choice, and would work to lessen the power of public school bureaucrats to control curriculum. Allowing the dollars to follow the child will also allow parents with several children to afford tutors who might be needed to keep the children in in-home education.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
This is a divisive proposal.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
There is no place in our schools or in our curriculum for CRT. It is hurtful, divisive and works against a strong system of learning.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
Christian
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
We need more transparency with increased opportunities for voting machine and voter roll inspection prior to elections. Cameras should be in place to monitor ballots at all times. Same day, in-person voting should be required, except for those who are truly sick or in the military. Photo ID's must be required. We must always require signature verification and paper ballots only.
iVoterGuide Notes:
Candidate notified iVoterGuide.com of this clarification, "I will sponsor legislation to eliminate counting machines as well as voting machines. Votes should be on paper only and hand counted. This will ensure that all interested parties can have access to the actual ballots to check for authenticity and accuracy in counting. We must also count the number of people who vote so this can be compared to the number of ballots."
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Did not answer
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
We must restore the energy independence we achieved with President Trump.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To protect the people by providing safe roads, water, fire protection, etc. and preserve their Constitutional rights.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
https://rumble.com/vv90p6-political-challenger-candidates-of-22-pt2.html
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am deeply concerned about pornographic materials in schools that are passed off as sex education. These books should not be seen by anyone, let alone young children. Sex education should be left up to parents. I will also fight attacks on our privacy, medical freedoms, and gun rights. Once freedoms are lost, they are very difficult to recover. We can do it, however, and reverse this trend toward lawlessness if we elect independent, freedom-loving candidates like myself. Please support me in the Republican Primary on May 17th! Thank you.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Disagree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
None
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?
No
iVoterGuide Notes:
Candidate notified iVoterGuide.com of this clarification, " I believe that counties or municipalities should decide what level of gambling is appropriate for their individual communities."
The LGBTQ+ agenda’s advocacy for puberty blockers, biological males competing on girls’ sports teams, and allowing biological males into girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and showers threatens the wellbeing of our children.
Strongly Agree
Biological male trans athletes competing against biological females is destroying girls and womens competitive sports.
