QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Under no circumstances should abortion be allowed, including chemical abortives. Pre-term inductions (inducing a mother to give birth prior to the point of viability), however, when necessary to save the life of the mother is a separate issue from surgical abortion and should not be included in abortion blocking legislation.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Tax dollars cannot fund the destruction of life.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

All life is valuable and ordered by God.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Under no circumstances can government violate our First Amendment Rights. "Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof [....]"

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Secure our southern border and return to energy, agricultural, and textile/manufacturing independence.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I stand with Israel.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C. Medicaid and Medicare should remain available for all who want it, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Under no circumstances should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require a medical procedure! Vaccinations, as with any medication, come with risks. Informed consent is the governing principle and International Law which includes the right to decline any medical procedure. Any government, school, or employer forcing vaccinations without exemption is violating International Law (Nuremberg Code) and all medical ethical governing principles, i.e. informed consent. Medical, religious, and personal choice exemptions must be honored. Additionally, there must be legal consequences for any government, school, or employer breaking the law and requiring vaccination without exemptions.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The tax code is oppressive to individuals and businesses. A reduction in tax burden stimulates economic growth and constrains the expansion of government.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Wasteful spending on managerial bloat, monies to special interest groups, and hundreds of millions wasted on education reform that fails to fix the problem in education; we need to remove common core completely!

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Providing a tax-payer-funded public post-secondary education is not, and should not be, a function of the Federal or State Governments.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The fentanyl coming in through our southern border is a greater health risk than Covid to the American people, and it must be stopped.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Legal immigration should continue as it has based on the Johnson-Reed Act of 1924, the McCarran- Walter Act of 1952, and the changes to immigration policy in the 1970s. Legal immigration is not a threat to our Constitutional Republic; illegal immigration is a national security issue.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

Alabama needs school choice that would allow for competition amongst school districts resulting in improved performance from failing school systems.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

There should not be any restrictions on gun ownership as outlined in the Constitution; "the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

The gun didn't decide to harm the victim; the criminal who pulled the trigger is responsible for harming the victim.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The general purpose of government is to protect the rights of the people outlined in the Constitution, to protect the people from enemies both foreign and domestic, to maintain federal infrastructure in order to support manufacturing and commerce, and to promote domestic tranquility.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

https://youtu.be/leU1cnu2qSM

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

no

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am an English and Reading ACT teacher. I am finishing my final course (capstone/thesis) for a Master of Arts in History, specializing in American History this Fall 2022. As an historian of American History, having studied our legal, political, and social history, I can see that our country is headed in a dangerous direction. We need freedom and liberty-minded citizens in the State legislature to steer this ship toward our Constitutional foundation and away from tyranny. I will never compromise away our freedoms and liberty as so many in the State House have done.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born-again Christian. I believe God created us in His image and He designed the world we see with His hands. We, as Christians, have a moral obligation to share the love of Christ and His gospel and to live our lives according to Biblical principles.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

The laws on present voting practices are sound, however, during the 2020 election, local courts were violating those laws and ordering changes to voting practices without an Act of the State Legislature. We need never again legislation that will provide consequences for any court found guilty of altering state or federal election laws. I would also propose a return to paper ballots with machine readers that are not accessible by internet, Bluetooth, or any other present *or future* technology.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism is not a threat to domestic security in the United States, however, the Media is!

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

The time for reparations has long passed. Reconstruction was the time to offer reparations (as promised) to former slaves and their families. I do believe that more can be done, however, to remove children from generational poverty and the results of a failed Reconstruction and decades of Jim Crow laws via initiatives like school choice to provide greater educational opportunities for those stuck in failing school systems, which often include many minority populations.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree
