OTHER INFORMATION

QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do not believe there are ever any exceptions to intentionally end an innocent life.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Do you support the proposed Yes for Life amendment to the Kentucky Constitution, which makes clear that there is no state constitutional right to abortion?

Yes

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I would like to see personal property taxes for vehicles, boats, etc, greatly reduced or eliminated. I believe that the state income tax should be eliminated.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I would like to review the budgets of all state agencies, and reduce unnecessary administrative costs.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

If a situation arises that providing a service is violation of their religious beliefs or conscience, I do not feel that an individual or business should be compelled to perform those services.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

I do not believe there is any legal exception to an individuals right to worship. In HB 1 in 2021, my opponent sponsored and voted for this bill which gave authority to the governor or CDC, (which ever was least restrictive regarding limitations to operate) to determine if and under what circumstances a church would be allowed to operate in a pandemic.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B.Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

I do not believe that there are any circumstances that justify absolute vaccination requirements. There is nothing wrong with strongly suggesting them, but I believe every single person is sovereign over their own body. The individual has every right to control what goes into his or her own body. I believe this is one of the most basic and fundamental rights of individuals. There should always be waivers or exceptions to any vaccination requirements that exist today.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Make sure all terroristic regimes like Iran as well as others ,never receive one penny from the US government. Starting wars in the middle east is not the answer.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

I believe as a Christian, we should support the nation of Israel and defend its existence.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

I believe that people who are truly in life threatening situations where individuals are persecuted for religious or political ideology in other countries should be screened but given preferential refugee status. People who lawfully apply , are screened and deemed individuals who align with American culture and have the potential to be contributing members of society should be allowed to immigrate.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

I believe that those education dollars should follow the students no matter the educational setting. If economic competition results in better outcomes in free market capitalism, then competition of educational institutions should do the same as well,

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a follower of Christ who believes that I have been redeemed by Christ from my sinful state by his shed blood. I believe the Bible is the divinely inspired word of God. I believe that the Bible is applicable to our lives today as well as the time that it was written. Because of my belief that my acceptance of Christ allows His Holy Spirit to live in me, he guides my conscience and will not allow me to live in a sinful state. I know that the Bible does not address every single situation we could encounter in our lives and how a government should maintain itself through taxation, etc., but I believe that my worldview of looking through the lens of how God sees the world and man, gives me the ability to make choices in life that I believe pleases Him. I truly have a fear of God and believe that I am compelled and also desire to live a life that is pleasing to Him no matter what area of life it applies to.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I believe that we have to eliminate electronic voting machines, period. One vote, one day, one person, on a paper ballot. We can not accept the argument that this will be too expensive. It is the most fundamental basic component of our representative democracy. People have died for the rights of free people to govern themselves. If we fail to protect the integrity of our voting system, we dishonor those who have sacrificed so much to preserve the ability of individuals to have a voice in how they are governed.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

No. This narrative is a façade propagated by an illegitimate administration. This narrative has been used as a tool to demonize and paint all patriotic Americans as radical white supremacists. The left has gone so far as to add the label of "white supremacist" to patriotic black Americans. I believe that racism exists in the US, but i believe that it is rare. I believe all men are created equal and most Americans believe it too.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. So many industries are over regulated in the name of climate change. I believe the EPA and state environmental agencies are needed to prevent damaging environmental pollution, but in a lot of cases go too far with regulations by crippling industries. Coal is one example. We have very advanced scrubbers which virtually eliminate pollution from coal fired power plants, yet coal is demonized and has has been a target of environmental regulations. I believe that a lot of regulatory burdens are a part of the strategic de-industrialization of the United States.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I believe that it should be done in a responsible manner that protects water supplies during the drilling and well finishing process. There are risks associated with this type of drilling . We need a strong energy independence policy, and fracking should be allowed to achieve this policy.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

I believe a national government should be limited to basic functions of facilitating the operation a free society. It should include providing infrastructure, national defense, a monetary, legal, and law enforcement system. I believe other areas of government should only be administered by state governments. There are too many agencies and bureaucracies of unelected officials that have too much control over the everyday lives of its citizens.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I am not a professional politician and I do not havemedia references to source.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

I have never been convicted of a felony or been accused of sexual misconduct.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I would like to pass legislation that will allow voter recall of elected officials within the state. This will provide an ultimate check and balance of power for voters when elected officials have issues of misconduct, grossly misrepresent their position on issues, or other blatant forms of disregard for their constituents. Although HB 28 addresses vaccination mandates and eliminates them in public entity employment, I want to see private employers included in the elimination of vaccination mandates for employees. I want to have legislation passed that creates a more secure system of elections that excludes electronic voting machines.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I believe that in general that police officers should have immunity for conduct consistent with departmental policy. Law enforcement has to have the ability to freely exercise their normal duties without fear of constant lawsuits. There has to be some accountability for abusive and reckless policing though. There has to be a high bar set for evidence for punishment when they stray from policy and normal policing behavior.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I believe everyone has a right to defend themselves. The only restrictions i believe, that do not violate the spirit of the second amendment is the prohibition of violent felons to own guns. Although someone this violent should be in jail and if there is such a propensity for violence by an individual, it reflects more on the failure of the justice system if someone like this is released.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

People are responsible for violent actions , not the weapons used.

OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES

Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?

No

The LGBTQ+ agenda’s advocacy for puberty blockers, biological males competing on girls’ sports teams, and allowing biological males into girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and showers threatens the wellbeing of our children.

Strongly Agree
