QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Not under any circumstance, whatsoever.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

I do not agree with this because there is typically more than one place to choose from when picking a place for a service. Why would you want someone to provide a service FOR you, if they do not agree with your lifestyle?

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None!! Covid was a great example, they chose to keep liquor stores open, but closed churches. That is not ok. If the government can keep some businesses open but choose to close other businesses and churches; that, in my opinion, is government overreach. That kind of power does not need to be given to our government.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Be strong and follow through with whatever threats, you, as a government choose to put out there. Set a precedent that Americans are NOT weak and will hold true to what we say. And for Heaven's sake...CLOSE OUR BORDERS to illegal immigrants!!!!

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Choose not to answer

I do not know enough about this to agree or disagree.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

B. The key phrase there being, "all who want it", not "we make you get it, even if you don't want it."

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NEVER!!!

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I do not think we do too bad where I am from. I live in Brookville, Indiana.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Cut welfare off at a certain point. Families can only receive welfare for x amount of time and cannot reapply until a certain amount of time has passed.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Someone will have to pay for it. Handouts do not encourage hard work.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

ABSOLUTELY!!! However, if you want to legally, come to America, come on in.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only those who do it legally, those that prove they are not a threat to America, and those who pass very stringent background checks.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

Some charter schools would not be in business if vouchers were not available. Not all kids thrive in every type of classroom, having more options allows students the ability to find what works best for them.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

If things are done by the book and the officer had no other choice, than personal immunity should apply.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

I believe in mental health and community programs, but not at the expense of our police departments.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None! Gun ownership is the only thing we have to protect ourselves. If the government starts telling people what TYPE of guns they can have, how MUCH ammunition they can buy, how MANY guns they can have, HOW they're stored, etc. we have given them a foot in the door. We all know, a foot in the door with our government always turns into the door is now wide open and they can do whatever they want. We cannot allow the government to even shove one foot in the door when it comes to more restrictions possibly being placed on gun owners.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect and listen to the people that they represent. To spend our tax dollars wisely. To be honest. To look at things from a humanitarian perspective; not a money and power perspective.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

I have filled out several campaign questionaries so far; my answers will reflect what I believe. I have filled out questionnaires from Students for Life, Indiana Right to Life, Indiana Stand for Health Freedom, Hoosiers for Medical Liberty, I'm sure there are more. Donation letters written to friends and family. Whitewater Broadcasting for my radio ads. Personal palm cards and private meetings I have already had.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

NO

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

My motto is to "Keep the government out as much as possible and let us do what we do in Southeast Indiana". Some of my legislative priorities include, fighting the war on drugs in our communities, extending broadband access to rural communities within District 55, and preserving our American freedoms.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

This country was founded on biblical principles, that's the way it should stay. The more we take God and biblical values out of things, the worse our country seems to get.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

No one should be considered a specially protected class. If you think you are a different gender, live your life that way, no need to be over the top at work. By that, I mean, if you are a male that identifies as a female, don't come to work in a drag costume. There is a time and a place to be who you are, work is not that place; neither is school. Also, if you are an asset to your employer; you should be able to keep your job because you're a good worker, not because you are in a special class.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

This theory continues to fuel racial tensions. It is a blanket statement that people developed to continue to create division among Americans.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a Church of Christ, born again Christian. I am strongly conservative. I believe that ALL life is valuable!!

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

The only thing I would, not change, but make mandatory is that photo ID has to be shown and scanned before the voter is ever given a ballot. I would do away with mail in ballots, 100%. All absentee ballots would require a photo ID, no exceptions.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes, because our government and our media fuel racial tensions. There is racism everywhere, no matter what color you are. That doesn't need to come back to race, it needs to come back to loving your neighbor, as yourself and treating others the way you would want to be treated. It kills me how badly African American's were treated, at one time, but that is over. Continuously bringing it up will just continue to fuel the flame. I think it needs to be told so history doesn't repeat itself, but not through CRT or extreme teachings. If things like that are taught and ingrained in children, the threat for domestic security will always be looming.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
