QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

Only when the mother's life is in danger, and or the child has no chance for survival.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Remove their funding, and they will be less likely to push unwarranted abortions.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Disagree

Only God decides life.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Simply violates constitutional rights.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None, they are and always will be sanctuaries.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Educate everyone on the credible threat. It is a religious ideology that transfers back thousands of years. It is not something that has just began.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Disagree

I support Israel. I support their rights to lands that were given to them thousands of years ago. The land was "Promised", and no other peoples have rights to it.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C is closer to my opinion. But there are still other options.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

None

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Remove taxes on necessities such as food and life saving medicines.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Shrink government. There are too many wasted dollars on government positions that far succeed their need. If we restructured the entire federal employment, we could easily save billions in wasted revenue.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

I believe in free markets. I believe in hard work and self advancement. I do not believe in government funded free rides across the board.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

Build the wall. Place military on the border if necessary. As someone once said, "a country without borders, soon will cease to exist as a country."

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone seeking asylum, as long as they follow our immigration laws. Any immigrant, as long as they follow the legal path as so many wonderful people have done in the past. People who will contribute to our society, and not drain our recourses.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Agree

Parents should choose how their children are educated, not the government.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Neutral

It depends on who sets departmental policy.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Police are already overall underfunded. There are grants, and funds elsewhere that can be utilized for community programs.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None as long as an individual is not a convicted felon, or been convicted of violent acts which would present a threat to themselves or others. Actually this could be considered a trick question. We have too many restrictions now. It is a constitutional right unless one has by a court of their peers lost that right.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

Guns don't kill people. People do.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To serve the will of the populist. The are not leaders, they are hired servants. Although they seem to have lost sight of that.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Conservative

Our country has operated pretty good using a 200 year old constitution. It was only when we started varying from that, that we started this decline. I stand on my faith, without it I am nothing. I stand for freedom, and smaller government. I believe we can get back to helping each other, and seeing each other as brothers and sisters. But only if we stop making our differences an issue. We are not white people, black people, etc. We are all people, trying to survive the best way we can. American

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Anywhere and everywhere I speak, I am consistent in my passions. Town hall meetings, grocery store parking lots, and church, I am the same. I will not compromise. Others have done that to the point we are in serious trouble as a country. Read my posts on Facebook, or question anyone who knows me. I do not change on a whim, but I will accept it if I am proven wrong. I am not narcissistic, but I am passionate and determined. I pastor a southern Baptist church. And I always challenge my congregation to go behind me and check where my text, my words, and even my actions originate.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No, and never will be.

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I want them to understand if elected, I work for them. I will not make promises I can not possibly know if I can keep, just to get elected. But I will promise them that as of day one, I will give them my all.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

Whether you are a believer or not, you must agree we need people of good character in government. People who exhibit these values, are more than likely going to use them as a moral compass. Something our present government can learn from.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Disagree

Although I do not support discrimination in any form or toward any group, I do not support new legislation creating laws protecting anyone who chooses to be different. We already have laws in place to help prevent illegal action toward other people. These laws should be enough to cover those who see themselves as outside the normal biological design.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

God said it, I accept it.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

It is a political action to cause discord. By causing people to revisit a problem most of us have healed from, they are rebirthing one of our nations ugliest times. We should be moving on as "One Nation Under God", not causing division by class or racial warfare.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Christian, Conservative, Patriot.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

It is one of the most important acts we as Americans participate in. It should be protected at all cost.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Higher accountability for mail in ballots. Voter ID and verification required. Monitored polling, and vote counting. All voting machines should be investigated by an outside, mutual, entity.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Yes, however it should not be. The left is pushing the narrative as a political weapon.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

No one alive has ever been a slave, nor owned a slave. Every race has had a history of abuse. It is time to move on and live and let live.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

It is proven to be safe, efficient, and is what got us to energy independence. At least we were before this administration took over.
