QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Agree
I feel that Abortion should be reserved for specific cases of rape, incest, assault, underage pregnancy, and medical risks to the fetus or the mother. Abortion should not be mass funded and abused like it often is in today's society

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
I believe that there are certain instances where an individual has a medical condition where they are incapable of taking care of themselves, are in immense amounts of pain, cannot move, etc. where the person should have the freedom to ask for assistance to end their suffering. There also needs to be extreme regulations so that this cannot be abused or overused in any manner.

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Circumstances where abortion should be allowed would be if there was instances of rape, incest, abuse, the fetus is not viable, or if the pregnancy is putting the mother's life at risk.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Freedom of Speech and Freedom of Religious expression are both at risk now days, because of the fact that so many become "offended" when someone has an idea that is different from another persons. We should be protecting the right to have differences. We should never be diminishing someone else's freedom of speech, religious freedoms or any other differences.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Businesses and Individuals should not be required to provide services that would violate their moral or religious beliefs. People have the individual freedom of choice where they can choose where to get their services from, in that same thought, businesses should have the same freedom to choose what services they provide.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The state should not interfere with a church's right to express their beliefs, just like a church should not interfere with a states right to govern.

NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
A) We as a country should take a leading role in protecting freedoms of the American people. This also carries with it the deterrence of impending foreign threats that are escalating to the point that they are becoming threats to the rest of the world.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
I support Israel, their freedom and their independence. They are constantly being attacked and have many Islamic and Arabic countries who are trying to eradicate the Israel from existence.

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
We should be supporting all groups who are fighting against terrorist groups and do everything we can to stop the flow of money, guns and resources that are being provided to Islamic Terrorist groups.

HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
The ONLY instances where a medication could be mandated, would be if a person suffers from a mental illness that prevents them from making medical decisions for themselves OR if a child is under the age of 18, who has been subjected to neglect by the parents and a court is charged with making the medical decision. From that point, if a court finds that the medication would be in the best interest of the child AND the medication will not cause any harm the child.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
B). With the caveat that the Medicare and Medicaid programs should receive reduced funding and the eligibility should be reevaluated. Eligibility should contain work requirements, premium requirements based on income level. However on the Private healthcare options, there should be mandated minimums on the types of prescriptions, procedures and other services that are provided. There needs to be a mandate that any medication, service or surgery that is deemed to be medically necessary and in the best interest of the patient, as deemed by the provide, should be at least 70% covered if not more.

ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
We should not be promoting the idea that money should simply be redistributed for the purpose of closing the gap between wealthy and working classes. If anything, we should be providing the working class with more job opportunities and more ways that they can become wealthier through the time, effort and ingenuity that they put in.

The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
The government has been increasing the amount of money given to agencies and spent unnecessarily and they have not balanced the federal budget since 2001. I believe that the government should analyze the federal spending and cut the wasted spending, stop funding duplicate federal agencies and dial back the amount of money that is being wasted. o

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The main changes that I would like to see made to the tax code would be an adjustment to the tax brackets where working class American's do not lose 40-60% of their paycheck because of taxes. We should not be punishing working Americans for the irresponsible decisions made by government officials. When we have people who put in the time, the hardwork and the effort to make an income and they finish the year with a Gross income of $100,000 and a net income of $55,000, that is where we know that we have a problem with how the "tax code" is being addressed.

IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Any person from Any country should be allowed to Immigrate to the United States, so long as they follow the immigration requirements that have been established for any person who wish to become American Citizens.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Yes, and if their conduct extends beyond what is covered under departmental policy, these immunities would cease.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
In order to have police officers perform to the best of their abilities, they should have the funding necessary to get the training and support needed.

2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
I believe that gun owners should have some level of education pertaining to gun safety, hunter safety and firearm training. This way they are able to fully understand the capability of a firearm, how to properly clean and store firearms and how to properly use a firearm. The rights of a gun owner should not be reduced, but only supported through educational opportunities and training options.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
I disagree with this because it is not the fault of the firearm dealer or manufacturers if someone commits an act of violence using their firearm. That would be the equivalency of suing a car manufacturer when someone becomes the victim of a hit and run. This comes down to holding the individual accountable for their actions, because in an act of violence the responsibility is solely on the perpetrator, not the manufacturer of a firearm, a knife, a car, etc.

No

No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I'll be straightforward with you, for my entire life, I have always disliked politics and politicians. I had always seen politicians as overpaid, corrupt individuals, who lie and talk a big game, but do nothing to represent the wants or needs of the people and only care about their own self interest. To top that off, I never would have ever thought that I would even consider getting involved in the political scene, nonetheless running for any political office. This had all changed after my wife and I had been seeing our daughter struggling with her schooling and the mixture of social media, bullying and lack of care from a variety of schools that had pushed her into a bad spot mentally. Which resulted in us making the decision to home-school her. We had experienced first hand the financial struggles that many others have had as a result of Covid and decisions made by the Biden administration that had resulted in us missing out on multiple paychecks, which had made it difficult to pay for bills, groceries and rent. We had seen everything going on with our economy, with China, with Russia, with fuel prices, supply chain problems, healthcare and so much more. We had seen our freedoms as Americans being stripped away piece by piece by Biden and the mandates that have been pushed. More than anything, we have been seeing that our country is becoming more politically divided every day and there being very little effort to fix the problem. We had seen our current congressman who had pushed pieces of legislation that contained popular bill titles but provided very little benefit to the people of Montana, while also seeing multiple news articles about ongoing lawsuits, misuse of campaign funds and more. The breaking point for my wife was when she had seen our country on the verge of collapsing, the world on the verge of war and a future that was becoming more uncertain by the day. My wife had pulled me aside in January and had asked me where I thought this country was going. When she asked me, I honestly didn’t know what to say. Alivia went on to say that with all of the political division, insider trading, illegal/immoral activities, the fighting, the character assassinations, slandering and extreme party loyalty, it seems as though the majority of Senators and Congressmen aren’t even interested in what is best for the people, but only what is best for themselves. That is where Alivia had asked me something that I never thought would come out of her mouth, she asked me if I would try to run for congress. With the knowledge that being in congress would require a lot of time, she also knew that it carried a large amount of responsibility, but it was more than that. She knew that the only way for our country to have a future, for our daughter to have a future, would be if we had people in congress who are willing to fight for what is right, to be willing to put in the time and effort to listen to the people, to help find solutions to the problems that we are facing as a country, to put differences aside and to start putting the needs and the good of the people first and foremost. All that I could give her as my answer was “I will try my best” and that is what I will continue to do. The reasons mentioned above among many other reasons, is why I am running to be your congressman. To listen to your fears, your concerns, your ideas, your wants and your needs. It is time for you to have a representative who will fight for the rights of the people and to be honest about what is actually happening in our country. I believe that the people deserve more than what they have been given and if elected, I will fight for each and every Montanan and American, just as I am for my family, not as a politician, but as a neighbor, a husband, a father, and an American citizen.

VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Agree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Critical Race Theory is perpetuating racial division and should not be allowed in ANY institution.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I would like to see Photo Identification be the standard for all voting practices as well as either the implementation of either utilizing the last 4 numbers of the social security number, drivers license or state ID to ensure that there is more credibility to ballots cast.

EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Disagree
While I do agree that the history of slavery and racial injustice is horrific and morally wrong in so many ways. I believe that there are many ways that we should move forward as a country, but the payment of reparations based on race alone, is not one of them. Any reparation should be addressed individually, not on the basis of race, gender, religion or any other single detail. Reparations should take into account all details that were associated with the individual affected.

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, Racism is not a threat to our Domestic Security. Is Racism extinct? Unfortunately not. However, if we stay in the mindset that racism is this enormous overshadowing evil that is deeply rooted in the foundation of American society, then we are diminishing the amount of progress that we have made as a country. We, as a nation, have people from all religions, nationalities, races, ect who are buisiness owners, politicians, professors and so much more. America is a nation where we should be focusing more on the content of a persons character rather than focusing on the color of someone's skin. The overwhelming majority of American's will agree with this fact. We cannot call racism a domestic security threat when there is an extremely small percentage of the population who are actual racists. We need to focus on the majority of the population that is focused on a better tomorrow and that does not care about anything other than the content of character and the goodness of ones heart.

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) I believe that we should try to maintain the environment and the cleanliness, however I also believe that we should be striving to push for oil and gas production especially while we are seeking alternatives. While we are producing oil and gas, we should ensure that these resources are being extracted in ways that would be in the cleanest and most environmentally friendly ways as possible.
