QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?
None. Life is given by God and outside of capital crimes in which the state has the jurisdiction to exercise capital punishment, only God has the jurisdiction to take life. Only in the rarest of circumstances when the life of the mother is endangered should the doctor consider that option.
Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.
Strongly Agree
Chemical abortion drugs should be outlawed.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Government at every level should protect life. Taxpayers should not be required to fund abortion at the state or federal levels.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
See my answer to #1 above.
ECONOMY
Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.
Strongly Agree
Thomas Jefferson penned, “A wise and frugal government… shall restrain men from injuring one another, shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.”
What is your position on the minimum wage?
Government has no business in business except to establish standard weights and measures, accepted currency and contract laws. Minimum wage laws are unconstitutional and immoral.
Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?
No
Again, government has only one duty, to administer justice. Justice is giving unto each person what is due according to God's law.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
none
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
Government should not dictate a business owner's "right of conscience." In Colorado Baker Jack Phillips has suffered for over a decade at the hands of a weaponized Colorado Civil Rights Commission who have penalized, punished and demanded that Phillips participate in an event that is a violation of his conscience.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.
D. James Madison wrote, "Charity is no part of the legislative duty of the government.” Government should not be involved in providing health care for its citizens.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
none
NATIONAL SECURITY
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Just as our border is porous and subject to invasion by foreign terrorists, so is our all of the above. Government is to secure the liberties of its citizens without violating citizens' right to private property or privacy.
Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?
Yes. We should stand in support of our ally and defend Israel's sovereignty.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
A nation without secure borders is no nation.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Disagree
The parents should direct the education of their children, and the money should be returned to the parents to choose private, public or home education. The money should NOT follow the child but rather be returned to the parents who should have final say over the choice of education. If the money follows the child, the state will then track the education of the child and demand concessions to a secular, state agenda. We see that with Charter Schools, for example.
VALUES
Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.
Strongly Agree
Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.
Strongly Agree
Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.
Strongly Disagree
Sexual mutilation and chemical castration of minors should be outlawed.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.
Strongly Agree
Only God's Word defines marriage and the church administers it.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
As a Christian who has put his trust in Jesus Christ, my values flow from God's Word. The jurisdiction of family, state, church and the employee/employer relationship is defined by and derived from Scripture. Our founding fathers recognized this. President John Adams astutely observed, “Our constitution was made for a moral and religious people... it is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” I firmly hold to this fact.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Only citizens who are registered to vote should vote in person with valid ID.
States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.
Strongly Disagree
Our Founders in their wisdom feared such a "democracy" which would result in mob rule and would disenfranchise the voice of smaller and less populace states.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, the threat is the tribalism brought about by the incendiary language of socialists.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.
Strongly Agree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.
A. and C.
What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?
Nuclear, oil, gas and coal.
ABOUT YOU
Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.
No
Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.
No
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
According to Romans 13, the role of government is to administer justice and to defend the liberties of its citizens. Justice is giving unto each person what is due according to God's Law.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
I prefer the term "biblicist" rather than "conservative." I stand on God's Word and fight all sides--unprincipled conservative, classic liberal, socialist or Marxist.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.
Strongly Disagree
Although I support the funding of police departments, I do not think the police should outgun citizens. President James Madison wisely summed it, “Of the liberty of conscience in matters of religious faith, of speech and of the press…of the right to keep and bear arms...If these rights are well defined, and secured against encroachment, it is impossible that government should ever degenerate into tyranny."
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
none save prohibiting violent convicted felons from owning weapons.
Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?
Yes
Gun free zones only invite cowardly attacks by terrorists.
