Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
The truth is I don’t like abortion and I also don’t like government getting between you and your physician so there is a continuing balance between these two values. As of now, new "community standards" have been set with the passage of recent state legislation.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Colorado tax dollars should not be used to fund abortions and according to Section 50 of the Colorado Constitution, public funding of abortion is forbidden.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Colorado tax code needs to remain a simplified flat tax that can be easily understood by all taxpayers without additional required taxes that are legislatively proposed as "fees".
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Colorado TABOR Amendment requires a balanced budget and any proposed legislative spending needs to be within the statutory required budgetary limits (Colorado Taxpayer's Bill of Rights Constitutional Amendment 1992).
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be primarily focused on kindergarten to twelfth grade and ensure that students graduate proficient in the educational basics of reading, writing, and mathematics..."Section 11. Compulsory education. The General Assembly may require, by law, that every child...shall attend the public school during the period between the ages of six and eighteen years..." (Colorado Constitution).

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Protect the United States borders from illegal entry and background check all legal immigrants for connections to terrorist groups.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Five of my great-grandparents were immigrants to the United States. I believe that within annual immigration limits, anyone that can provide proof of friend or family sponsorship and has viable work skills to be employable or personal financial assets to be self-sustaining after immigration to the United States.

My wife and I were both raised in Ohio Amish communities and have strong traditional values of "God, Country, and Family" and we practice our religious beliefs in our daily lives and marriage.

Individuals that act antisocially as a result of racist beliefs can be considered a threat to the safety and security of the United States.

I have invested the last four years and four Legislative Sessions working and learning as a Legislative Volunteer at the Colorado State Capitol for State Representative Mark Baisley and I am now experienced and completely prepared as the next State Representative for House District 43 Highlands Ranch. Three of my primary goals as a Colorado State Representative include "Schools of Choice", "Medical Freedom", and "Make Colorado Affordable".
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

All law enforcement officers should be guaranteed "Qualified Immunity" while acting within their Departmental Policy on duty.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
