RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Neutral
What we do is our individual choice and the state should not impose. Our laws should be consistent across all endeavors. Whether it is abortion or mandatory unproven vaccinations, it is the individual's choice. We should clearly understand the long term consequences of state mandates before requiring them. Having lived through California's state mandated Covid-19 lockdowns, I am against state mandates. The state should support the individual's choice not dictate it. Abortion is a woman's choice.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Neutral
We need clear guidelines of when and how euthanasia should be decided and on a case by case basis, if the patient requests it. Is our medical science advanced enough to manage patients undergoing unbearable suffering? And then there are those who are pro abortion but against animal suffering? Does that make sense?
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
As a moderate I have some left leaning and some right leaning views but I am mostly center-right leaning. When there are grey areas or doubts we should turn to both God and science for answers. Afterall, did God not create the sciences as a means for us to understand the world and the Universe He created? However, we should not be fooled by politized science. Politized science is not science. Abortion should be allowed in rape, medically proven malformation, when the life of mother is threatened, and at least in the 1st trimester and up to 21 weeks, in addition to the mother's decision - the state should not bar the mother's decision. Let me remind you that our country is based on individual rights, freedoms and responsibilities. Men are involved but women are committed to the pregnancy. Men should not be telling women, what they can and cannot do, but they can advise and inform. In today's world are women are as well educated as men, so why should men force their point of view? We are all individuals first, then a family unit, and then more complex social communities. The decision is primarily determined by the women with guidance from others. In my opinion, from a social perspective, the original Christian anti-abortion teachings originated out a disgust for the Roman Empire's "throw away baby culture". One can compare this process to that of communism emerging out of a disgust for greedy capitalism, but communism is not the answer. The real question is, how did God implement pregnancy? With science we know that the human biochemistry is incredibly sophisticated and even then we are just beginning to scratch the surface of this understanding. So can science, the tools He gave us to understand the world, provide answers? From a scientific inquiry perspective, the real question is, when does the soul instantiate into the body? After all we know when the soul leaves, this is termed death. That means that the soul had to have instantiated sometime during pregnancy, but we don't know when. It is termed still birth when soul does not instantiate or departs before birth. Religion teaches that this instantiation occurs at conception, but the Bible does not state precisely when instantiation occurs. It mentions what is required for pregnancy, or week 1. Luke 1:44 "As soon as the sound of your greeting reached my ears, the baby in my womb leaped for joy." That is, science informs us that the baby John the Baptist was at least 6 months into the pregnancy. That the fetal baby John, is human at 6 months because it responds to sound as a person. In between these two events the Bible is silent. Why? Why is a perfect and precise God silent? Given our incredible advances in science and technology can we test for instantiation? Neither the political left nor the political right have determined when the soul instantiates but they keep shouting that their point of view is correct. Let science settle the abortion question, then we can make better decisions.
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
If managed well, taxes redistribute the opportunities for wealth. This is lost when our schools teach our children false ideologies of identity politics, wokeism, CRT, LGBTQ and genderism issues. Our children have no time to learn what is important for them to be financially successful in the real corporate world. Then somehow we expect the disadvantaged kids (the most susceptible) to become successful adults, while the rest of the world teaches important useful subjects to their kids?
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
See my op-ed in California Political Review, https://www.solomon4congress.us/pdf/CPR(2022-02-16)01.pdf. Yes. Between 2019-2021, Net Interest on Public Debt (not even debt service) as a proportion of Federal Receipts, ranged from 5.91% (2020) to 9.51% (2021) at very low interest (<2%). Given a high inflation of 8.5%, interest rates must increase and consume 70% of Federal Receipts - i.e. no social programs and we with extended unpaid government furloughs. Do we want catastrophic budget failure?
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Simplify, standardize, and make the tax code consistent across industries. Then, investors can make decisions based on real economic growth instead of tax liability.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Our freedoms and rights come with responsibilities. Religious liberty must be preserved, unless there are criminal activities present in those activities, and no persons shall be above the law. Right now false ideologies are curbing our liberties. This must be stopped.
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
We are about individual rights and freedoms. Therefore, individuals and businesses should be allowed to provide services that don't violate their moral and/or religious beliefs and free to deny services to people who violate them. Many stores now post signs that it is their right to deny service without providing reasons. Enforcing would erode our freedoms and rights. This is the slippery slope towards Communism where the state mandates curbs of our rights and freedoms.
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The Lord said, “Give back to Caesar what is Caesar’s and to God what is God’s.” (Mark 12:17) This is the first instance of separation of church and state, that I know of, and therefore, we obey the Lord's teachings. However, the earthly church is not above the law. Many of our laws can be traced back to the Bible, but changing the law to fit our fashionable ideology does not make the law correct either.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
When vaccines are real and proven to be safe with over a decade of human trials, and will not produce genetic defects in the next generation. Have any of you looked up the disastrous effects of Thalidomide? The question, then is, who is liable for unforeseen disastrous outcomes? Our Congress made sure nobody is liable but doesn't this go against the 1st Amendment "Congress shall make no law . . . abridging the freedom of speech . . . to petition the Government for a redress of grievances." and the 5th Amendment ". . . nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law . . ."? Why did Congress immunize the vaccine manufacturers? When we consider outcomes between the US and Sweden, which had nominal lockdowns, the US had twice the death (per 100,000 people) than Sweden had, in spite of the US spending twice as much as Sweden did. I estimate that 350,000 Americans would still be alive today, if our Public Health Officials had followed Sweden's example, and not China's. That is, our Public Health policies were and are wrong. These lockdowns, mask and vaccination policies caused severe business closures, severe job losses, barred citizens, who would not vaccinate, from their jobs and caused unnecessary GDP contraction, which in turn caused unnecessary deficit spending. Who benefited from this? This is the overt politization of medicine. The Epoch Times reported that the Dr. Fauci and his minions received $350 million in secret payments . . . https://www.theepochtimes.com/non-profit-watchdog-uncovers-350-million-in-secret-payments-to-fauci-collins-others-at-nih_4454636.html Worse the reproduction model, invented by Professor Ferguson of Imperial College London, UK, used by governments and academia, is false. I read the Institute of Health Metrics & Evaluation (IHME) documentation on the use of this reproduction model for Infectious Disease Spread. It is a complicated mess with bad statistics and worse it tells us nothing about the COVID disease itself. This model is only about hospitalizations and overestimates hospitalizations by 10x to 1,000x! This link, https://www.Solomon4Congress.us/images/IDS-Covid-19-LifeCycle.svg, shows what an Infectious Disease Spread model should be. Here is my YouTube video COVID "Vaccines: A Statistics Based Opinion" https://youtu.be/MfEktfUajXs, that explains my position based on statistical analysis of the early untampered data.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
The term "funded by the government" is misleading. The correct usage is "funded by the tax-payer". Our terminology must be precise. The government does not create wealth. The taxpayer does. That is the primary difference between a democratic society and Marxism/Communism. Our government, Congress & the bureaucrats, are entrusted to be good stewards of taxpayer receipts, the source of the Federal Budget. Right now, the government's taxpayer funded health programs are wasteful and can be seen by the steady increase of mandatory W2 taxes over the last 70 years, while private sector health insurance premiums have sky-rocketed. Our healthcare system is not broken, it is dishonest. What is required is a new structure between the public and private sectors that is both effective and financially efficient. Borrowing from the Japanese manufacturing sector, Kaizen should be a primary directive. In Kaizen, systems prevent participants making mistakes, and work towards being effective. Overlaid on this, is stratification. Citizens earning below as certain level should be provided free health by a well run public sector & inexpensive private sector. Above this level a reasonable co-pay is required. Those seeking treatment from expensive facilities should pay a percentage of the treatment costs. We don't want a health sector that is 35% of GDP do we? That would show the rest of the world, what a sick society we have become. And worse, including a sector that is primarily dependent on tax payer's receipts, into the GDP calculation, is double counting previous GDP into the current, and therefore inflates the Congressional Budget Office's estimates of Federal Budget Receipts. We get misguided budget feasibility. Therefore, GDP estimates need to deduct tax payer funded industries, but we need to disclose separately the size of these industries as a proportion of GDP.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
I'm somewhere between (B) & (C). Our current crop of politicians want to be seen as the police of the world, as the powerful, not as stewards of our wealth, even though they pretend not to, but they ignore the mess at our door step, the Southern border. This is hypocrisy at its worst.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Having lived 32-years as a second-class citizen of the Muslim country, Malaysia, I am pro-Israel and against BDS. BDS is based on Jew hatred, just as Identity Politics & CRT are based on white hatred. These are the products of Marxism/Communism where, if people cannot be divided by class then they have to be divided by race, so the their proponents can gain power. BDS, CRT & Identity Politics is not about the better governing of people. It is about replacing the Western identity with Marxist.
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
Yes.
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Why not ask Muslim Americans to answer this question?
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
Yes but first we have to delegitimize the non-profits that siphon illegals into our country.
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Yes, because it is the Federal government that is responsible for international relations, not State or Local governments.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who uphold the truth and come in legally. In the Parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10:25-36) the Lord explains how to deal with the disadvantaged. The good Samaritan was a merciful man with a medical background, as he knew how to treat wounds and was willing to. He knew how long these wounds would take to heal. He was fairly wealthy as (i) he paid or would pay the inn keeper whatever it took for the wounded stranger to heal and recover, and (ii) he owned a donkey and could afford its upkeep. The priest and the Levite both thought of themselves as poor and did not want to be associated with any future troubles relating to the wounded stranger. But the main lesson here is that, in order to help the stranger, the good Samaritan did not bring this stranger into his house. And so it should be with illegals. We should not allow them into our country under the guise of mercy but help them in their country. The good Samaritan showed that when you have a good heart, you have to exercise your brains, too.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
No. We are all one people. This nation guarantees us equal rights and freedoms in pursuit of happiness but with that comes responsibilities. As the British would say, an Englishman's home is his castle. What you do in your home is your business provided it is not criminal. Let's focus on how we can help each other rather than hammer away at why some group or the other should get better treatment.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
We have to reject this garbage and ask ourselves, in which country on this planet, since time immemorial did white brother fight white brother to give his black brother his freedom? It is the United States of America only. See my YouTube video, What is Critical Race Theory?, https://youtu.be/n-DuA8gjyKE
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian, having been both a Protestant and a Catholic. I did not choose Him. He chose me. In 1973, when I was 15, the Lord appeared to me in the garden of my parent's home. This was in Kota Bharu, Kelantan (the most Islamic state in Malaysia). He was about 10 ft in the air and about 30 ft away, wearing a white robe and a blue shawl. He beckoned me to come to Him. I raised my right hand to Him and asked, "How are You better than the other gods?" Probably the worst thing I have done in my life. In 1978, in the evenings after school, the Holy Spirit stood at the edge of my parent's compound waiting for me. He did this for 2 weeks, and I just simply enjoyed His presence, though I did not, at that time, know who He was. This was in Seremban (in the state of Negri Sembilan). See Edgar Cayce for a description of the Holy Spirit. To grow, the Lord has allowed some difficulty in all of our lives. Some more than others. Mine was extreme. These hardships are not a testing of us, because He already knows the outcome, but real-life experiences for us to understand who we are and to evolve so that we are better prepared for the future. To be better stewards of His wealth in His Kingdom to come. Unfortunately, I only had the sense to accept Him, Christ, in November 1998, at a friend's home in Singapore, and was baptized in 1999 at St Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Manhattan, NY. We moved to Colorado that year. Around 2005, one of our Protestant pastors told us we had to receive Holy Communion every day. That is only possible in the Catholic Church, thus becoming Catholic. I was a volunteer, reader and chalice bearer at Mother Cabrini Shrine, Colorado, for a couple of years. In 2015, I moved to California. Then in 2019, in San Jose, CA, Christ showed Himself to me again. This time He was about 3 ft above the floor, surrounded by a light purple bubble with purplish rays coming forth from it. He was wearing a greenish shawl. I forget the color of His robe. It may have been light purplish-pink. I was to His left about 15 ft away. He was smiling at a homeless person in a wheelchair. He continued to remain there for about 5 minutes and then was gone. Yes, Christ is alive and well. So is the Holy Father and the Holy Spirit. By March/April 2021, I had completed the algorithms and most of the database design and implementation, for my fintech startup Business AIR Models Inc. A SaaS company-credit-risk technology that evaluates companies in minutes. Then Lord told me "Somebody else will run the company". I was shocked. It took me 4 or 5 months to accept His decision. In September, I told Him I accept. Only then did He say, "Run for Congress".
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
Not just a photo id but only the Real ID or passport or military photo ids should be the only allowed forms of identification.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Only in-person voting with valid government issued photo id (Real ID or passport or military photo id). Voting day should be a federal and state public holiday where applicable. If citizens do not want to vote, then they are giving "proxy" to the election winners. Why do I say this? I have seen with my own eyes that our civil service can be corrupted. Here two some real examples: 1. Social Security Numbers (SSN): When I was working (2016-2018) as a car salesperson in Los Angeles, My manager pulled a credit report for a Chinese PhD student who had arrived in this country a few weeks earlier. We found that his SSN had been previously issued more than 20 years ago, and that the illegal using his SSN had a credit score around 830. That illegal had bought and sold several cars and had been paying a mortgage for more than 15 years. That is, SSNs are not proof of legal work status. 2. Census Data: The Census data on Estimated Unauthorized Immigrant Population (2000-2018) is essentially flat. (https://www.dhs.gov/sites/default/files/publications/immigration-statistics/Pop_Estimate/UnauthImmigrant/unauthorized_immigrant_population_estimates_2015_-_2018.pdf) We know that this is a misleading estimate at best and a lie at worst, because the Southern border is non-existent. In California 1 in 5 immigrants are illegal (https://www.pewresearch.org/hispanic/interactives/u-s-unauthorized-immigrants-by-state/) That is, these illegals break our nation's laws to take jobs away from our children. That means, for example, that many of the restaurant wait staff servicing you, are illegal. That is a good chunk of pay and tips not going to your children who are starting out in life. Our system is not broken, it is dishonest.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Neutral
Not reparations but a good education. Windfall monies only attract predators and it is gone in a few years. Those "reparations" should be used to build good schools, and attract good companies into these neighborhoods to provide a good foundation for life and better incomes. Look at the black neighborhoods in Oakland, CA. You cannot drive on some of those roads without at least on tire hitting a pothole. I know, because I drove those roads. People keep voting for the same group who neglect them!
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. It is Marxism under the guise of Progressivism. Marxism requires division by class, but in a classless society like ours, the next best source of division is race. I was here in California in 1978. It was a clean, beautiful state, and the people were happy. Today, 44 years later, after 35 years of single party Progressive rule, we have rampant drug use, homelessness, run away crime, feces and urine on the streets of both Los Angeles and San Francisco (yes, I have personally seen this!), exorbitant taxes, public attorney offices that won't prosecute crime. Many public companies have left the state. Toll ways built on top of taxpayer funded roads. Road maintenance that is one of the poorest in the country, and worse than many third world countries. Look at California's traffic jams. We have the California EPA that is blaming everyone else for emission pollution. Google maps will show you that what takes about 20 mins to reach in no traffic, can take up 45 mins or more in traffic. If our politicians and public service officials had put more thought (and honesty?) into our road networks, our emission pollution would be half of what it is today. Who is to blame? The finger is pointing at the EPA and our public officials. People keep voting for the same group of officials who neglect them! How incredible. Why? Let me paraphrase Einstein, banging your head against against the wall is not going to move the wall.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Neutral
Yes, but we have to be aware if these would lead to earth quakes and tremors in those regions. It is incredulous and so shameful that President Biden of the United States, the most powerful and most wealthy country on the planet is begging third world dictators for oil and gas while he has shut down ours! That is stupidity, and makes us look incapable of managing in the eyes of the world. How shameful.
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
(A) is closest to my views. I personally did the calculations, and I can do these calculations because I have a STEM background. Did you know that Emissions CO2 only accounts for 0.001% of Atmospheric CO2? That means all of our $550 billion taxpayers' funds is wasted on clean energy policies. The supposed anthropomorphic global warming is entirely due to deforestation. Every 1,000,000 sq km of deforestation increases Atmospheric CO2 by 32 ppm. That $550 billion could have been better used to solve some real (not made up) issues we have in this country. Why did our climate scientist not inform us that Emissions CO2 is only 0.001% of Atmospheric CO2? Did they not do this basic calculation for 50 years? Or did they know but deliberately hid this fact from everyone else? It shows that our children are not getting a good education and that is why nobody, in 50 years, realized how simple it is to verify the facts. Here are two more lies we have been told to scare the daylights out of us, 1. Melting Antarctica will raise sea levels by 200 ft. Based on climate alarmist type calculations did you know that 85% of the Antarctica ice melts every summer and refreezes every winter but the seal levels does not change. According to climate alarmist calculations the sea levels should rise and fall by 170ft every year! Do they? 2. The critical temperature for climate catastrophe is 1.5C above some reference value, Europe has already exceeded this. Is Europe facing a climate catastrophe now? No. The climate alarmist game the system by selecting a reference temperature that meets their ideological needs. And we can select a reference temperature that "proves" that the Earth is cooling. Yes, we can. 3. Those of you who visit beaches over the last several decades, have you observed sea level rise at these beaches? No. Climate science is politized science based on ideology. It not science. Sure, they use mathematical, statistical and computer models to coerce their claims but you know what is said in computer science? Garbage In, Garbage Out. And the worst part of it is, that the taxpayer is funding this academic garbage. I have posted my YouTube video "Climate Change: What Didn’t They Want to Tell You" https://youtu.be/VbUMV562OgI, explaining this nonsense.
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Lean Conservative
Moderate who leans Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
All my publications are available to everyone at this link, http://www.iseti.us/pdf/PaperReference.pdf
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I have 40+ years working in industry, manufacturing, management consulting, credit risk, Commercial & Industrial lending & IT, and have 2 Master's degrees, one in Operations Research (algorithms & statistics) and the other in Finance (both from Europe). In those 40 years I spent 20 years digging through the foundations of physics and discovered the 1st formula in 335 years (1687-2022), g=tau.c^2, for gravitational acceleration that does not have mass in the equation, See https://www.altpropulsion.com/events/apec-5-29-gravitational-physics-the-dean-drive/. Our theoretical physicists cannot comprehend such a discovery. Why? In 2020, during the lockdown, I reviewed my credit risk and lending experience and compiled this experience into 2 monographs (i) 1 A Critique of Dodd-Frank: Forecasting Securitized Mortgage Credit & Default Risk, Scholar’s Press & (ii) Real World Data Modeling: Applications in Statistics, Physics & Medicine, Scholar’s Press. From this work, I know that the Reproduction Model used by both academia and the government for covid-19 is at best false. It is so misleading. The full list of my publications can be found here, http://www.iseti.us/pdf/PaperReference.pdf I am pro good quality jobs and employment. My initial legislative agenda is to introduce bills that will not put our American people in harm's way, economically. Therefore, (i) Yes, the surprise is that both academia and government economist did not see inflation coming. That means their models are wrong. This has to change. We have to have real solutions to curb inflation now. I have proposed HELSIS (Home Equity Line for Self-Insured Servicing) that will replace the role of Quantitative Easing as a "Wall of Money" per former Treasury Secretary, Timothy Geithner, and not have the undesired side effect of excess money supply (measured by Velocity of Money). At the same time HELSIS will reduce mortgage defaults by up to 70% without penalizing borrowers or banks. (ii) Climate change bills need to be replaced with bills that are not based on politicized sciences, as climate change is due to deforestation and not emissions. We need to enable the free market find the best solutions to climate change based on honest and truthful analyses. We need to ask, why was the lie that climate change is due to Emission CO2 when Emission CO2 is only 0.001% of Atmospheric CO2, propagated for the last 50 years? (iii) We need major changes to how we respond to pandemics, as Sweden has shown 1/2 the death rate (per 100,000 people) of the US without lockdowns. We do not ever want unelected public official to hijack our country. I have proposed an alternative model for Infectious Disease Spread (IDS) that identifies disease behavior, unlike the current Reproduction Model used by academia and governments, which is worthless. My model sets the standard for academic IDS modeling. Academics need to take note of how to do IDS correctly. (iv) Eliminate the teaching of failed and false teachings in our public schools and not criminalize parents for wanting more transparency of what their children are taught. Communism by any other name is still Communism. (v) The Congressional Budget Office's rubber stamping the Federal Budget is worthless. I have proposed 5 Federal Budget management rules to ensure that both the Congress and the Congressional Budget Office does not put the tax payer in harm's way, economically. See https://www.solomon4congress.us/pdf/CPR(2022-02-16)01.pdf. These 5 rules must become the law. Once we have righted the economy, my focus would be to create good quality jobs for Americans, and to ensure that students who are taking onerous debt at the start of the working lives (unlike the rest of the world) get a solid education and therefore, their skills are competitive in the global job market.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Yes. The law must be consistent across industries. If Pfizer can be immune to future liabilities of their vaccines having disastrous long term effects, then so can police officers who face life threatening situations.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
No. A lot of our mental health problems are due to illegal and legal drug use. Therefore, mental health issues require different solutions that do not handicap the law and order of our civil society.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
No restrictions. Unlike what is reported in the media, much of gun violence is due to illegally acquired guns. Therefore, onerous gun laws will not stop gun violence. In fact it will have the opposite effect. That illegal gun owners know that most people will not have guns to protect themselves, therefore, use their guns as an effective method to eliminating witnesses. That is, the more onerous the gun laws, the worse the gun violence.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
Definitely not. The laws must be consistent across all industries. Our Congress has already enacted laws that prevents Pfizer and other companies being sued should COVID-19 vaccines patients develop unforeseen detrimental side effects. Is Congress playing favorites? Why?
