QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Very limited. In cases of incest and rape only where a crime has been committed and the criminal can be further charged with fetal homicide.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I will never support public money being spent on the killing of babies.
Do you support the proposed Yes for Life amendment to the Kentucky Constitution, which makes clear that there is no state constitutional right to abortion?
Yes
There is no right to kill babies. I have no problem clearly stating that.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
That is a tough one. I can understand how things can get so bad in living that one might want to give in or to speed up the process. But I firmly believe those are Gods decisions. By all means, make them as comfortable as possible, but allow God to make the final decision.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
It should be scraped and replaced with a consumption or use tax system.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Any increase would be a no. Any decrease would be scrutinized carefully to insure necessary services are supported. Zero based budgeting is in order for the uncertain times we are in. No increases none of any kind. Line by line, item by item evaluated for necessity with cuts made to achieve a modest overall decrease in spending.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
That would require increase in spending.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Agree
That would kind of kill Liberty, wouldn't it? Our laws are created with those beliefs incorporated and tend to be to restrictive already. I do not favor any requirement, restriction, or any other limitation of freedom and liberty.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
None legitimately. Only by over reach and tyranny.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C). Medicaid and Medicare should remain and be taxpayer funded using a zero based budgeting approach. No increase with a modest target decrease. All such government programs should be means tested and benefits adjusted accordingly.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
None other than what existed prior to COVID. I am undecided, even those may be to imposing. New medicines should be given as a matter of personal choice for at least a decade, or two before any such requirement should even be considered.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Drill Baby Drill. Take their money supply. Drill, pump and deliver as much oil as we can. Bring about the consideration and application of micro refineries in rural America.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Why? Let them work it out. That struggle goes so far back, I don't know that I have any thing really constructive to add. Lets just work to keep the peace, help to enforce existing agreements, and work toward peaceful change should their people want that.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
I believe you simply can't be a sovereign nation without secure and enforced borders. We Must secure our borders.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
We should use a merit based immigration system. Controlled allocation of controlled humanitarian entries should be controlled (intention overuse of the word controlled). As far as I'm concerned "natural migration" ends at our border.
EDUCATION
The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child instead of the bureaucracy, through a program which allows parents the freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.
Strongly Agree
Encourage competition between the various types of institutions and processes. Let the parents decide.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
The more those values are expressed, the less law we need to control the unruly.
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
It already is. You cant discriminate based on gender now. God decides the construction of our chromosomes. Its not something we pick and choose.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
I believe that CRT is a racist theory. I believe those that practice or promote CRT are racist. If we give those who believe in CRT power in the institutions of the United States, then will that be true. Strongly disagree would be an understatement.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am deeply spiritual and believe in God through Jesus Christ who is my Lord and Savior. My soul does much better living simple. God seems much closer when you pay attention. I pray to Jesus to help me keep my life simple to better realize his presence.
Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition
Strongly Agree
Why would they? Marriage is sacred. Marriage is an institution. If you want something different, build it, but don't mess with mine.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
We have to have positive id. We can't have it any other way. The times are just to tumultuous. We need to be careful and tighten things up.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Simple. One vote, one day, on time. Voter ID required. Paper ballots. Annual validation of voter roles. Voter registration ends 2 or 3 days before elections.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, I do not believe so. I believe the word racism is a commonly misused word today as is diversity and inclusion. I believe that the behaviors involved in and the ideas promoted by those who would think this is true is far more deleterious.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Anything based on race is racist. To be racist is not good. I actually challenge the concept that it was slavery as opposed to self determination which caused the economic divergence of the two races by and large in America. I do not think the same as it relates to the native Americans. And I would love to sit and talk about that with anyone.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A) would be closer. I believe that as a child of God I am a steward of his creation, all within it, and that includes the environment. The rules, regulations and laws we have now are to burdensome. No more should be added. We should do more to teach the connection between God and his creation specifically the earth and environment. Do that as much or more than we teach the connection between God and success or fulfillment.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Closley monitored and closely controlled within current laws, rules, and regulations.
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To establish justice and keep the peace, to provide a common defense, and to secure the blessings of our Liberty
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Did not answer
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
no
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
We need to do something different. We need to do away with career politicians and let the ordinary man have his say. Term Limits!! We need them now by any means necessary. We need to do away with voting machines.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Agree
These people can come under tremendous stress and we need to provide this support for them to do their job.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Neutral
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The cost particularly of ammo, because its reoccurring can be prohibitive.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
No. That is silly. Why would it be with way with guns and nothing else. Cars, motorcycles, hunting knives, pots and pans, whatever.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support the expansion of gambling in Kentucky?
No
We have enough.
The LGBTQ+ agenda’s advocacy for puberty blockers, biological males competing on girls’ sports teams, and allowing biological males into girls’ restrooms, locker rooms, and showers threatens the wellbeing of our children.
Strongly Disagree
Boys are boys, and girls are girls, God makes that decision. We have to understand our roles and live with them best we can. One can dress up how ever they want I guess, but keep the girls with the girls and the boys with the boys in the rest rooms and locker rooms for crying out loud.
