QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Under no circumstances should abortion be legal.
iVoterGuide Notes:
The candidate added "I am pro-life and believe that the life of the mother should be protected at all costs."
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
It should be the priority of our elected representatives to return as much money back to the taxpayers as possible. Ultimately, the American People are better stewards of their hard-earned dollars than the federal government is.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
America needs conservative Christian leaders that are willing to legislate in our country. It is extremely imperative that we protect the inalienable rights endowed upon us by our Creator. America has and remains a shining beacon for religious freedom and individual liberty throughout the world.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Under no circumstances should a government, elected official, unelected bureaucrat, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. With that being said, both of these programs definitely have room for improvement and should be updated to be more efficient and effective while attempting to save taxpayers as much money as possible. It is vitally important that any health care policy be patient-centered and firmly grounded in the free market to foster competition and innovation. In order to ensure this is the case, Congress must fully repeal all aspects of Obamacare — not just the idea of Obamacare — this includes any and all subsidies and remaining taxes or penalties. Additionally, we must allow the American people to purchase insurance across state lines while expanding access to Health Savings Accounts. We also should push for greater transparency when it comes to pricing for health insurance and coverage. Giving the American people the power to make decisions on their own reinforces the free-market approach to competitive health care. Lastly, we should force Congress to live by the laws it passes and eliminate any special benefits, perks, and privileges when it comes to health insurance for Members of Congress and their staff. If it is good enough for The People, it is good enough for the government. We must do everything in our power to prevent a government-run, single-payer system. This would essentially be Medicare For All which is a code name for a socialist program.
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
In order to ensure the safety and freedom of the American People, it is in the national interest of the United States to continue conducting extremely targeted operations against known terrorist actors who wish our nation harm. Additionally, we must ensure that anyone who wishes to immigrate to the United States fully intends to assimilate and adopt our cultural standards and values.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
I believe that our current immigration policy and laws are extremely flawed. It does not make sense to attempt any reform until we are able to enforce current legislation. Therefore, I am in favor of a 10 year moratorium on all immigration into the United States. During this 10 year period, our first priority should be to finish securing our borders -- including the building of the Southern Border Wall. Our second priority is develop immigration policy that takes into account the needs of our nation and protects our citizens and our way of life. This includes ensuring that anyone who wishes to immigrate to the United States fully intends to assimilate and adopt our cultural standards and values.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
First and foremost, I am a Christian, God-fearing man who wishes to serve my Lord and Savior in everything I say and do. My relationship with the Almighty is the first and most important relationship in my life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
I believe that a National Voter ID law should be passed and implemented immediately and that we must permanently ban the use of mail-in ballots and ballot harvesting operations.
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. The biggest threat to domestic security in the United States is radical Marxist and socialist who constantly sow division and hatred throughout every category and community in our country.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
In today's America, I recognize the tremendous need to continue to defend the America First agenda set forth by President Donald J. Trump. As THE America First conservative candidate in North Carolina's 13th Congressional District, I have established a campaign focused on grassroots engagement and the defense of values that all North Carolinians share. I pride myself on being an approachable individual who wants to hear about the challenges facing voters and their families and I look forward to pursuing solutions to improve the lives of all. The 13th Congressional District is the only true toss-up seat in the Great State of North Carolina and will ultimately serve as the bellwether indicator of Republicans' ability to regain the majority in the United States House of Representatives. That is why I am doing all I can to secure a conservative majority while fighting for an America First agenda. My plan includes implementing term limits for Members of Congress, securing long-overdue infrastructure funding for North Carolina, and fighting for our individual liberties without hesitation. I have always been a hard worker. That work ethic came from watching my parents - both entrepreneurs - launch and successfully run numerous small businesses. From the time I was a small child, I can vividly remember the long hours and sleepless nights that both my father and mother invested into ensuring their businesses and employees could continue to thrive and succeed. I took this work ethic with me to the gridiron when I started playing football. I learned quickly that the pillars of success that my parents taught me - hard work and persistence - would lead me to success on the football field . . . and it did. I was awarded a scholarship to play football at NC State. As a freshman, my teammates elected me to be their representative on the Athletic Council and I was ultimately honored as a Freshman All-American wide receiver. Even though I was experiencing success on the football field, I had this constant voice in the back of my mind telling me that I was supposed to be doing something different . . . something that would benefit the People of North Carolina who had given me so many wonderful opportunities to succeed. So, after my freshman year at NC State, I transferred to Yale University to study political science and learn more about government. After graduating, I returned home to North Carolina to pursue my law degree at the Wake Forest University School of Law and marry my wife, Mary Charles. I launched my congressional campaign with a focus on you, the voter. I believe that you deserve to have a representative that truly shares your values. That is why I have dedicated so much time and resources to talking directly with voters - on their doorsteps, on the phone, and throughout our communities. These conversations allow voters to see that I not only share the same conservative values that they do, but that I am also ready to fight for them. Like countless North Carolinians, I believe that Congress has a responsibility to create an attractive environment for job creators to create good-paying jobs here at home, defend our individual liberties and freedoms from a tyrannical bureaucracy, return education decision-making power to parents, fight to secure our nation's borders, and protect the unborn at all costs. These values are under attack by Radical Liberals who are committed to forcing their Marxist and socialist ideologies upon us, ultimately changing the very fabric of our country. For too long, Republicans have been playing defense and we have constantly lost ground. The time has come for us to change our gameplan and start moving government back to the right - back in the direction of the conservative principles the United States of America was founded on. Conservatives, I believe that it is time to go on offense and I am ready to help lead the charge. Join me.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
There should be zero restrictions on the 2nd Amendment rights of the American People.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
