Reforms of our tax code should continue. Lowering both individual and corporate income tax, reducing personal property tax and moving to a fair tax would support individuals and business and making us more competitive as a state.

I would look at what are the necessary services to be provided by the government the and the cost to provide those services first. Secondly prioritize the services and reduce spending accordingly to ensure balance budget and service.

Currently serving as the Governor and Chief Executive Officer of one of the largest counties in Arkansas and one of the fastest growing counties in the country. I am serving my 2nd term as Chairman, Community Economic & Workforce Development of National Association of Counties (Serving 3100 counties in the U.S.) I am uniquely qualified with both private and public executive experience.
