QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
I am unapologetically pro-life. I support limiting abortions to as early as can potentially survive a legal challenge. The Declaration of Independence enshrines 3 inalienable rights, chief among them is the right to life, therefore it must be safeguarded
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
The tax code should be a simple document that has individuals and businesses pay a flat rate based on their earnings or profits. There should be few special write-off provisions, if any. The tax code should be so simple and straightforward that no working American should require the assistance of a CPA or tax preparer to understand their tax obligations.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
There are billions of dollars of fraud, waste, and abuse that should be targeted first. Government agencies should receive funding based on need, not based on prior spending. Because of the current spending system, the incentive is to spend every dollar and ask for more the next year. Instead, government should be judged based on how efficient it was, not how much it spent. Able-bodied Americans should not be disincentivized from work through unnecessary welfare and handouts. All government benefits should be means tested, except social security.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.
Strongly Disagree
We need strong schools that educate our children. But, universities should not be funded by the government either through direct subsidization or student loan guarantees.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Disagree
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
There are no circumstances that a government can infringe on the right of individuals to peacefully gather or to worship.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
No government, school, or employer has the authority to mandate any American to take any drug for any reason. Nor can the government tell any business or school that its employees or students must take certain drugs or face penalties. The only exceptions to this would be very narrow and tailored to a particular occupation or situation. The government can impose restrictions on foreign nationals as a condition to gain entry into the country. This could include vaccine requirements.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
The United States needs to stay out of endless foreign wars. The United States also needs to respond to terror attacks or threats of terror with swift and overwhelming strength. Once a threat is neutralized, forces should be removed from the area and sent home.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
A border wall is a strong deterrent to illegal entry. Additionally, it gives border patrol more time to respond to unauthorized entry.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
Immigration policy should be designed in a way that helps bolster the needs of Americans. As such, individuals with critical skills, education, or experience should be prioritized for entry. We should not allow millions of unskilled foreign nationals to saturate the labor market which only serves to depress wages for those who are already here.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Critical race theory is an inately racist philosophy that judges people based on the color of their skin, not based on the content of their character.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a confirmed Episcopalian but currently see myself as a non-denominational Christian
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
The United States is one of the only nations in the world that does not require identification to be used to vote. Any individual who does not have a driver's license, or who cannot afford an alternative ID, should be given the opportunity to acquire a voter ID, free of charge.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
A ballot should be counted only after identification has been presented. Therefore, mail-in ballots should be used only in the most extreme of circumstances, primarily for the disabled or those incapable of getting to a polling center. Early voting should be allowed for one or two weeks prior to the election date to give ample opportunity for all citizens to vote.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
Racism is on the rise in the United States being pushed by philosophies such as Critical Race Theory and DEI (diversity, equity, and inclusion) programs. These theories take some actual important topics and shrowd them in racist beliefs that teach people that all individuals should be judged by the color of their skin which is an inherently racist belief system that should not be allowed. Therefore, racism by its true definition is a real threat to the United States and it is a growing problem.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A. I believe the environment should be protected, but I also see a hysteria surrounding the climate conversation. This hysteria should be rejected, but sensible regulations should be used to ensure all Americans have access to clean water and air.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
To provide for the general rule of law so all individuals can engage in our society under a fair and equally enforced set of rules. To ensure the safety of Americans from threats to our life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness, both foreign and domestic. To provide basic public services that wouldn't be provided by a normal free economic society.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
This is my first run for office so I have not been interviewed specifically about politics before.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am a business owner, combat veteran, and leader who prioritizes individual liberty, economic growth, and good education for our children.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
All law-abiding citizens are granted the right to own and carry any firearm available.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
