I am a strong proponent of government funding of public education. I am a product of the public school system and a father of three children who have all seen the benefits of a public education. I am not in favor of funding of charter schools without the same level of oversight and transparency that public schools are subject to.

Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.

The only situation that a school district should be allowed to consider requiring vaccinations would be relative to their staff. I do not believe that it is appropriate to require students to be vaccinated in order to attend.

I have been married since 1998 to my wife Jennifer. We have three children (Brett 17, Audrey 21 and Katie 27) who have all gone through the Jenks Public School System. My children have attended Jenks Southeast, East Intermediate, Middle School and High School. At one time, we had spent 16 straight years with a child attending Jenks Southeast. I am the current president of the Jenks School Board and have served on the board since 2016. I also serve on the construction committee (CCC). It has been an incredibly rewarding experience. I have excellent relationships with the current Jenks School Board members and administration. I am the managing partner of RDK & Associates, Inc. with our offices located within the district. RDK & Associates is a bank consulting firm providing risk management and compliance services to community banks. My unique experience as a business owner and banking expert provides me with a perspective that are valued among our school administration and the board.
