QUESTIONNAIRE*
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not be a resource for instruction or services in the school.
Strongly Agree
Life starts at conception and is created by God.
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
It shouldn't be. Only if the mother's life is in danger, like diagnosed with cancer. Usually both are tried to be saved when possible.
ECONOMY
It is the government’s responsibility to ensure everyone has a livable income.
Strongly Disagree
It is the responsibility of each person to make decisions for themselves and what course of income they want.
What is your position on government funding of public education from Pre-K through college?
Too many strings attached to federal money. Schools need to be funded locally and not federally. There needs to be competition and then the education would improve.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Governments should define marriage as between one man and one woman; no other definition of marriage should be legalized or supported with taxpayer or public funds.
Strongly Agree
Strong families make a strong community and country.
The Ten Commandments should not be displayed in public school buildings or court houses.
Strongly Disagree
The 10 commandments are good moral rules to live by.
At school, students should be able to speak freely and civilly about matters of conscience and faith, including Christianity.
Strongly Agree
We need to teach kids how to listen and debate without getting emotional. In the 1800's, students had to debate both sides, which means that they had to learn each side. We have freedom of religion which means the freedom to express ones views with being attacked or silenced.
NATIONAL SECURITY
The best way to maintain peace is through a strong military.
Strongly Agree
Lead by strength. Bullies pick on the weak kid, not the strong one. Same with countries.
EDUCATION
Every state should mandate K-12 standardized tests and the use of teaching software which aligns with Common Core standards.
Strongly Disagree
There are too many tests that don't tell the whole story of a child. Common Core standards are causing problems with children being able to learn. We need to go back to teaching the way we did before common core. Teachers know their students and how best to teach them.
Parents are the ultimate authority in their child’s education and should be able to freely pursue whatever educational options they deem best for their child.
Strongly Agree
Before students are taught courses such as Comprehensive Sex Ed (CSE) or Social Emotional Learning (SEL), they must opt-in with written parental permission.
Strongly Agree
Parents need to be fully informed 1st with the materials to be used before it is put in front of the child.
I support the teaching of curricula (such as the 1619 Project, No Place for Hate, Second Step, etc.) that emphasizes slavery and racism as the foundation of American history.
Strongly Disagree
False history.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality that is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
I support allowing public high school students to participate in athletic competition based on the gender with which they identify instead of biological sex.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I believe we all come from the same creator, God, and that Jesus is the son of God. That the only way to heaven is by asking Jesus to be your savior and then asking forgiveness of your sins.
No healthcare diagnosis or treatment, whether mental, reproductive, or otherwise, should be given to a child without first receiving written consent from the parent.
Strongly Agree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
Things I have posted on face book through the years.
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No.
What books have had the most profound impact on your view of life?
How to Make Children Mind Without Losing Yours by Kevin LeMan. A Case for Christ by Lee Strobel. The Bible.
Is there anything else you would like voters to know about you?
I care about what is happening to our country and to our kids. Our kids are being indoctrinated by propaganda and not taught the education that they should be getting. They need to be taught how to think and not what to think, and that decisions aren't made from feelings. Value systems should be taught by the parents and their family structure, not the government. Children's welfare are the parents and not the government. I am a grandma to 2 wonderful grandkids that attend Texas public schools.
2ND AMENDMENT
Teachers who are licensed to carry should be allowed to carry guns at school.
Strongly Agree
Nothing deters a bad person with a gun like a good person with a gun. Schools would be much safer. They are targeted because the bad person with a gun knows he/she can kill a lot of kids because there isn't anyone to take them down.
OTHER IMPORTANT ISSUES
Do you support mandatory vaccinations for children attending public school?
NO! This is a personal decision to be made by individual families.
I support mask mandates.
Strongly Disagree
Masks don't work. They cause more problems with physical and emotional health than they help. This should be an individual decision.
