QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

The one circumstance in which an abortion might be justified is in the event the pregnancy places the mother's life in mortal danger, the mother has other under- age children with no living relatives or persons to care for those children therefore those children would become orphans because of her passing.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

Under no circumstance should any taxpayer dollars be used to support or finance any organizations or institutions that provide abortions. It is immoral as well as unconstitutional to force anyone to provide support for anything that is contrary to their religious or moral beliefs and in view of the fact it is impossible to segregate taxpayer funds by individual source it makes any use of taxpayer funds to support or finance these institutions not only unconstitutional but also immoral.

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

It is my belief Aid in Dying laws are a very precarious "slippery slope" that could very easily be used by insincere caretakers to alleviate the burden of caring for the infirmed or in a worst-case scenario by an extremist administration/regime to actually perform genocide on sectors of the public that are not necessarily in agreement with their political agenda.

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

The most abused and out of control form of taxation in Texas are the School, City and County Property Tax codes. This method of taxation has become the foundation for the financing of almost all governmental agencies and organizations. Because it is so intertwined with the day to day operation of our government it is a system that must be first controlled and then eventually replaced with a more efficient and effective method of financing our schools and local governments. School property taxes account for 50% of a Texans tax burden. This is completely unacceptable! In recent sessions the legislature has placed limitations on the tax rate that can be levied for the daily operation and maintenance of the schools but left gaping loopholes for payment of interest and principal due to issuance of long-term bond issues for the building of extravagant activity facilities that contribute very little to the overall education of the student population. Investment in the public school system in Texas should be focused on what is required to most effectively train our students in Communication skills, both written and spoken, Math, Sciences and Vocational Manual Trades for that 70% of the student population that are "manual learners". I believe the overall burden on the Texan taxpayer can be alleviated to a great degree through control of the budgets of the Public Schools, City and County governments.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

Public Education should be free only for students that actually legally reside in the State of Texas or school district. The school districts should be responsible for verifying the actual legal residence of all students based on the residence of their parents or court approved legal guardian. Any other student who cares to take advantage of the excellent public education system in Texas should be allowed to by paying out of state or out of district tuition. School Districts that fail to verify residence eligibility of students should not receive the state ADA for each of those students. Children of illegal immigrants, "Dreamers" etc that are residing in Texas under the protection of immigration waivers or can show their parents and siblings have physically resided in Texas as a family unit for the entire school year should also be considered residents for purpose of attending schools. Under no circumstance should a "Power of Attorney" or Letter of assignment be acceptable to determine the eligibility of a student for an in-district tuition free education. At the post-secondary level, no foreign student in the possession of a Foreign Student or other type of Visa, attending any of our institutions of higher learning should not be permitted to do so through the benefit of any scholarships funded completely or partially with tax payer funds, pay in state or in district tuition, obtain work permits to obtain any type of employment while attending the post-secondary institution nor apply for in state tuition until such time as they have been granted legal resident alien status by the U. S. Department of State. It goes without saying that the State of Texas should welcome any student that is not a legal resident of Texas to attend our institutions of higher learning as long as they pay out of state tuition or are benefits of a privately funded scholarship. It should also be a stipulation that no out of state or foreign students should be given preference over any legally established resident of Texas in admission to our State Land Grant Universities. Control of the Social Entitlement Programs through enforcement of the existing rules and laws for eligibility. Social entitlements such as Medicaid, Rent Assistance, WIC/Food Stamps were only meant to be a life-line bridge to provide a family or persons with the very basic needs for a reasonable limited period of time until the beneficiary would be able to support himself once again. The state does get assistance with Federal Funds for these programs, but the taxpayers of the State of Texas also contribute and these costs must be reigned in! Medicaid for the elderly or infirmed that are not able to work must be funded. But their eligibilty must be verified every 12 months. SNAP/ Food Stamp Cards must be restricted as to foodstuffs that can be purchased with them. Only basic foodstuffs such as meat, packaged processed or fresh, fruits and vegetables fresh, frozen or canned, milk products, baby foods and formulas, water should be allowed. No "fancy" cuts of meat such as T-Bone, Rib or Filet Mignon Steaks or Roasts No Soft drinks or Carbonated Beverages No Snack Foods such as Potato, Corn or Tortilla chips, Packaged Nuts, candies etc. All grocers should be required to verify card user identity by 2 methods, PIN as well as valid government identity. Abuse of the social entitlement programs is one of the largest wastes of taxpayer funds in our State and Country today.

iVoterGuide Notes:

"The 7th sentence should read: No foreign student in the possession of a Foreign Student or other type of Visa attending any of our institutions of higher learning should be permitted to do so through the benefit of any scholarship funded completely or partially with taxpayer funds, pay in state or in district tuition or obtain work permits to obtain any type of gainful employment."
Staff Note: This revised survey response was submitted by the candidate after the survey deadline was reached and was not considered during panel evaluations.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Strongly Disagree

Taxpayer-funded public education must stop after the 12th grade. The purpose of the public education system is to provide students with the life skills and knowledge necessary to become productive members of society. Post-secondary education is for advanced studies only that are required by highly skilled craftsmen, engineers, scientists, doctors, lawyers, etc.. and because those students are selecting the option of continuing their education it should be at their expense not the taxpayers.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

The Constitutions of these United States of America and the great State of Texas guarantee each and every one of us the freedom of religion and speech and no person, organization or government entity has the power or authority to abridge those rights.

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Because of the rights afforded each of us under the First Amendment to the Constitution of these United States of America no government authority or agency has the right or authority to at any time or under any circumstance close a church or place of worship.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

C.) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

No government agency or taxpayer funded institution nor agency has the right or legal authority to require vaccinations or implement safety protocols that would restrict citizens access to that institution. We are all responsible for ourselves and our families as well as being capable of deciding our own destiny. No taxpayer funded employer or employer that receives taxpayer funds for any of its operational or research expenses has a right to require vaccinations. Privately owned corporations, companies or institutions that receive NO taxpayer funds to support the operation of the same are private and the owner of that company, corporation or institution has the right to operate that facility as he sees fit. The key words are privately held and no taxpayer funds.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

To eradicate the threat of foreign terrorism and health hazards these United States of America must withdraw from any agreements or treaties that allow for the free entry and exit of foreign nationals. We must return to the archaic system of requiring all foreign travelers to be vetted at the U.S. Consulate in the Country of their citizenship, prove to not be a threat to our society, enter only if in the possession of a valid visa from the U.S. Department of State and in the case of visas that allow "extended stays" filing of notification of residence and contact information every 6 months.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Choose not to answer

Unfortunately, I must apologize, this being a subject of Foreign Affairs, I do not believe I am informed enough in this subject matter to provide an intelligent answer.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

We must at all costs STOP the invasion by foreign entities and persons we are experiencing. We must ONLY permit legal immigration by duly vetted foreign nationals that enter our borders through a legal port of entry in possession of a valid Visa issued by the United States Department of State. I truly believe there is a hidden danger that is being overlooked in this rampant invasion by young male males from foreign countries. We do not know their true intentions or reasons for seeking entry.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Only properly vetted individuals with a valid visa issued by the Department of State. Agricultural workers, for a period of 6 months in the possession of a Visa issued under the sponsorship of a farm, farming organization or processor that guarantees the return of that worker to his country of citizenship at the expiration of the Visa. Issuance of a new Visa dependent upon proof of timely exit. Skilled workers only if sponsored by an established U.S. manufacturer or professional services company for workers with a skill set proven to have been acquired through a minimum of 10 years Journeyman level work experience in that trade or in the case of medical, accounting or scientific investigation a licensed doctor or nurse, graduate accountant with 10 years hands on experience or scientist/engineer, graduate of an established, recognized post-secondary school with at least a Master's Degree with proven knowledge or skill set that the sponsoring employer can unequivocally prove that they have searched throughout the United States and unable to find a candidate with a similar skill set. Salary to be paid cannot be a stipulation! It must be based on knowledge and skill. H1/B1 Visas used for intercompany transfer of employees for purposes of training must be abolished. They have become a tool used by International Organizations to displace U.S. residents and Citizens with foreign workers to be paid at a lower wage. We must maintain a level playing field in the labor market. Before any company, institution or organization can obtain a work Visa for a foreign national they MUST exhaust the existing labor market in the United States of America.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

It is those beliefs that God and family are the core of society and that strong family units that hold dear and practice the Judeo-Christian values in their everyday life are what make communities strong and vibrant which in turn support a strong state which in union with the other states has created and maintained the greatest society mankind has ever known.

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

We must maintain our Christian family values that man was created in the image of God. That procreation is solely through the union of opposite sexes and that each of us has the God given Freedom and Right to practice our religions and beliefs as each of us sees fit.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

The institutions are not racists. The racists in our society are and for the past 50 years have been those groups and organizations such as the Black Panthers in the 1960's, BLM and the ANTIFA's in this century that continuously call everyone else racist. Good Christians in today's society see a person for their worth, the impression they obtain when they first meet not by that person's color, size or shape but rather what type of a person he is.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I believe in God, Family and Country. To me one's family is the most important entity or group in each of our being. Our parents are our guides and teachers throughout our youth. All external institutions, organizations or governments external to that family unit are subservient to the family unit. That each and every one of us was ordained by God to live in his image, to enjoy the resources God and our forefathers have provided us. That it is our responsibility to utilize and conserve those resources to the best of each of our ability to be productive members of society. That no man or government has any right or superior authority to take from each of us that which we have cultivated for the care and betterment of our families without our permission. That we as Christians must be united in the protection and preservation of our values. For you to best understand my beliefs and values you might use as reference that Christmas the celebration of Christs Birth is the most important Holiday to me. Thanksgiving, when we give thanks for our beautiful families and all God has allowed us to receive. Easter when we thank God for his forgiveness. Fourth of July when we celebrate our freedom and this great republic of ours these United States of America.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

Every voter should vote in person and prove his citizenship with his county issued Voter Registration card and government issued photo I.D.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

No, None, No Way should mail in ballots be allowed! if a person is not interested enough in the voting process to study the candidates during the campaign season then get up out of their chair and go to the polling station then they are not really interested in voting. No electronic voting machines! Paper Ballots on voting day only! Possibly allow a very limited 3 or 4 day early voting period. No centralized voting stations except in rural communities with limited voters. With today's technology ALL Polling stations should be monitored with video cameras and recorders 24/7. Any justifiable mail in ballot such as in the case of people in the service of their country must be received by election day and in the event it does not arrive on time be logged in and allowed in the count in the event of a re-count. Only fulltime military personnel stationed overseas should be allowed to vote by mail.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism does not exist in our society today! The supposed racism, as purported by the Socio-Marxist activist organizations such as BLM and the ANTIFA's, is a threat not because of its actual existence but because these Socio-Marxist organizations use that mantra to try to cultivate dissent and divide our great country. It is these organizations with the potential of being reinforced by the waves of illegal aliens that are entering our country under the protection of the international drug cartels that are a formidable threat our Federal government needs to address, sooner than later. These illegal aliens are not fleeing to our country to escape persecution, which is the sole justification for being given amnesty, but are coming in search of an easier more bountiful life. If what the national and international news groups report is true, that each of these illegal aliens must pay the cartels $2000 to as much as $10,000 each for safe guidance to our border, and these aliens come from the humble existence thy claim, then they must be heavily indebted to these cartels for their "ticket" to the U.S.A.. What our federal and state governments should be concerned with is how these illegal aliens are going to pay the debt they owe organized crime for that ticket? Will those poor immigrants be placed into "white slavery"? Probably a percentage of them will have to succumb to a servitude no animal should have to suffer. The stronger more able bodied will probably be occupied as "day laborers" paying off their debt to the extorting criminal organization as required. This more than likely than not will be either as a "narcotics" dealer or "mule" or even worse as a "soldier" to these Socio-Marxist organizations at the moment these organizations try to create wonton dissent and destruction in the streets of our great nation such as they tried in the Minneapolis, Seattle, Detroit and Chicago riots in 2019 & 2020.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

Definitely not! Slavery or forced labor however you care to name it has existed since the beginning of time. During the time of the Egyptians and the Second World War it was the Jews that were persecuted. Should they be paid "reparations"? During the beginning of the industrial revolution, it was the English Lords and Knights that operated a system of indentured servitude which was their form of enslavement of the Irish. Should the Irish be paid reparations? Slavery exists still today in Africa

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

Stricter environmental laws can and are destroying our competitiveness in the world market. Yes, each of us has an obligation to conserve our natural resources for future generations but if these Elitists in Washington, D.C. want to stricly adhere to all the climate accords they claim, then the U.S. must withdraw from all trade treaties, covenants and agreements, return to being a nationalist republic with punitive import duties for any merchandise or material that enters our country, no matter what the origin in order to protect employment in our country so that the taxpayers will be able to create enough wealth to pay the punitive costs and taxes these environmental laws and regulations will provoke.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Disagree

These United States of America must be energy independent, indebted to no one. Producing our own energy is the key, not sending hard earned dollars to our greatest threat China to purchase Chinese manufactured, Wind Tower Generators and Solar Panels.

Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

Very little has ever been published about me. Until this election I was not a public figure but rather pushing and complaining behind the scenes. It is the debacle we suffered under the Clinton Crime Family, Obama and now the Biden organization that forced me to step forward and say "Enough is Enough"! No more, you parasitical swamp creatures, this is the home of the brave and land of the free and we kneel only to our Mother, our Father, the Holy Trinity and the flag of these Unted States of America!

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No!

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I love this country, the states and all it has given my forefathers, family and neighbors. I have traveled in China, Taiwan, Korea, Japan, Europe and especially Mexico and I am a witness to the fact that there is not more bountiful, gracious, beautiful and courageous country as these United Sates of America. I am beholding to no one except my wife, children, grandchildren and constituents. I am not and will not become a politician! I will not go along to get along! I will fight to the best of my strength and values for what is right for Laredo which is consequently what will be right for the entire country! Do right for your family and your neighbors! God Please Bless My Family! God Bless this Great State of Texas God Bless these United States of America!

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

None other than those on the books today!

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
