QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should an elective abortion be allowed?

I am absolutely opposed to abortion. It is never right to take the life of an innocent human child.

Chemical abortion drugs should meet essential safety standards (such as in-person consultation with a medical doctor) and require reporting to gather evidence on reactions and outcomes.

Disagree

I believe chemical abortion drugs should be illegal. If legal, there should be as many restrictions placed upon them as possible.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive taxpayer funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

None. Closing churches, as was done under the pretense of COVID, was a violation of the first amendment of the Constitution.

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Religious freedom is the basis of our Constitutional system and we should never tolerate people being forced to violate their sincerely held religious beliefs.

NATIONAL SECURITY

The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.

Strongly Agree

The CCP wants to diminish the USA and dominate the world. We must deter aggression from the CCP and support Chinese dissidents and work towards a free and post-Communist China.

Is the United States' relationship with Israel important, and if so why?

As a Christian, I support Israel, and I believe the covenants regarding Israel in the Bible. We should support Israel. I have also traveled to many Arab nations. While I am strongly opposed to radical Islam, I supported the "Abraham Accords" initiatives taken by President Trump, in which progress was made in bringing peace between the Jews and the Arabs. I believe in the Biblical promises, but regardless, Israel should be respected as any other nation and as an ally of the USA.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D) Taxpayer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be defunded.

C. We do not need more government controlled health care.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

As free citizens, no one should be forced to take a vaccine or medicine against their will.

ECONOMY

Free enterprise and the right to private property are essential elements of a productive economic system.

Strongly Agree

What is your position on the minimum wage?

I believe the market should determine minimum wage. However, we should not allow slave wages or allow people to be exploited.

Should environmental and social issues, like ESG (environmental, social, and governance) ratings, be used as criteria in deciding where to invest public monies?

No

ESG ratings and woke corporations represent a threat to freedom and conservativism. I believe Republicans and Conservatives should take action against Woke-ism, DEI and ESG.

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

I worked on the border mission for over 3 years with the US Army. The local communities want a wall. Walls work. We need physical barriers, and other forms of security, to secure our border.

EDUCATION

The state should fund education by allowing dollars to follow the child through programs which protect parents' freedom to choose their child's school – public, private, or homeschool.

Strongly Agree

I believe in School Choice. I support homeschooling. We also need to get leftist political indoctrination out of our public schools.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

I support redirecting funds from police departments to community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I don't believe in restricting Constitutional liberties.

Should teachers be allowed to carry guns at school?

Yes

Everyone, who handles a weapon with responsibility, should be allowed to have the means to protect themselves, and those to whom their care has been entrusted.

ABOUT YOU

Have you ever been penalized for sexual misconduct in either civil or criminal court? If so, please explain.

no

Have you ever been convicted of a felony? If so, please explain.

no

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

To protect liberty, and provide the opportunity for prosperity, and to protect civilization, and to honor God.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

I believe in the US Constitution, and highly regard the Bill of Rights. I have a Christian or Biblical world-view.

VALUES

Children are the most vulnerable members of society and must be protected from abuse, including gender ideology, grooming, and bodily mutilation.

Strongly Agree

I believe it should be illegal to mutilate the genitals of anyone under the age of 21. We should protect the innocence of children. Anyone who tries to sexualize children, through "drag queen shows" or anything else, should be arrested.

Parents should have the right to make decisions for their minor children.

Strongly Agree

Taxpayer funds should be used to provide gender transition services.

Strongly Disagree

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition.

Strongly Agree

Marriage between a man and a woman is the God-ordained foundation of human civilization and it should be honored. "Gay-Marriages" are neither. I respect human freedom but marriage should not be re-defined.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

As the pastor of King of Saints Church, I believe that the Holy Bible is the inspired word of God. I believe that God the Father sent his beloved Son, Jesus, to redeem mankind, through his death and resurrection, and also through his moral instruction. I am an Evangelical Christian, which means I believe in the Good News of the Kingdom of God and I will share the Good News. We are created by a good and loving God who offers us forgiveness and eternal life, providing we turn from sin and evil and strive to live a life pleasing to Him and obedient to His commandments.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

States should join the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact which makes the Electoral College irrelevant.

Strongly Disagree

The Constitutional system of the electoral college protects the rights of individual states. As the United States of America we need the electoral college to protect the rights of each state.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

Racism must be condemned. However, racism is not a domestic security threat in the USA. I believe that racism is no longer widespread and pervasive in the USA. We should all come together as Americans and love one another. Focusing on race is harmful and divisive. We should come together in love and unity and not have racial division.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

CRT is a dangerous Marxist ideology. America has been a land of opportunity for everyone, regardless of race. We should not allow our children to be indoctrinated against the USA, which is the greatest nation on earth for 2 reasons. First, our Biblical foundation. Secondly, our foundational belief in the freedom and dignity of every human being.

Biological males should not be allowed to participate in women's sports or occupy biological women's spaces whether it be bathrooms, locker rooms, sorority houses, women's shelters, or prison.

Strongly Agree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? (Select all that apply) A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost. C) Stricter environmental laws undermine U.S. energy independence and deter development of reliable electricity sources. D) Climate change is real and requires urgent policy action.

A and C. However, I believe we need to control pollution and protect our natural resources, and have wildlife conservation. We need US energy independence. I don't believe in "Climate Change." I think it is a way to create fear among people and an excuse for government to take greater control of people's lives.

What do you believe is the most reliable energy source that will supply the growing demand for electricity?

Oil and natural gas. Nuclear is also efficient. I am not opposed to "clean energy" and developing alternate energy sources. However, we have too many windmills. Down in south Texas, and other places, they are an eye sore, and kill birds.
