QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Only when the life of the child or mother is in certain danger.
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
Planned Parenthood has nothing to do with parenthood, it has to do with planning and executing an abortion.
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Strongly Disagree
Assisted Suicide leads to society accepting euthanasia.
ECONOMY
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
I agree with the Republican Party of Texas that property taxes should be abolished. Government is too big already. Taxes should be cut, simplified, and made voluntary wherever possible.
What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?
Texas has a balanced budget and in fact has a regular "surplus" of excess revenue. Texas Government is growing at an outrageous pace. I would strictly limit spending growth, force agencies to submit plans for 5%, 10%, and 15% cuts, and adopt regular cuts to unncessary bureaucracy. Doing only this, within a decade or less, we would have enough excess revenue to fully fund our schools and eliminate local school maintenance and operation property taxes. I would additionally eliminate all corporate handout programs, and seek to eliminate any bureaucracy that produces only red tape and that does not directly serve the people of Texas.
Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
John Adams once said, our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other. No one should be forced to do something that they morally or religiously object to.
Under what circumstances can government close churches?
There are no circumstances.
HEALTHCARE
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
I'm actually against all federally funded healthcare, although Medicare and Medicaid have been in place so long that many older people rely on it. I'm afraid if it were eliminated without some sort of alternative for low income and Social Security recipients would not get the healthcare needed. I do think that medicare should be voluntary though and should only be offered to those who financially cannot afford healthcare. Compulsory government healthcare is slavery. What we need is an actual market in healthcare, with price transparency and competition. Right now the insurance companies rig the system against the consumer and everyone but them suffer.
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
There are no circumstances that any of the above should be allowed to require vaccinations. What goes into your body should be your decision.
NATIONAL SECURITY
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
Perhaps we could quit meddling in the affairs of the Middle East and other Islamic states that would be a great first step. Shutting down our border and stopping the wave of illegal border crossings would help a great deal for our Country.
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
Again, we need to quit meddling in affairs of others.
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
We need to shut the border down totally. All traffic even across the main entry bridges that allow commerce. Once the trucks stop coming across the border we have a bargaining chip with the countries south of our border to use to get them to curtail the mass influx of people coming to our border. I would further say we need to address the elephant in the room and that's the drug cartels who control the whole border. That situation is a bit harder to solve, but they need to be eradicated.
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who come legally and are vetted. Immigrants should be committed to American values. One of those values is the rule of law. Illegal aliens reject American values by rejecting the rule of law. Moreover, our immigration policy should serve the interest of the American people first, not foreign interests, foreign people, or domestic business interests.
VALUES
Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.
Strongly Agree
Again I go back to John Adams quote, "Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other."
I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.
Strongly Disagree
There are two Genders Male and Female. Your chromosomes determine which you are. No discussion.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Agree
To say the all people of color are oppressed but saying that all white people are oppressors is wrong and not true. You have realize that CRT is Marxist ideology. If you research Critical Theory you'll find it emerged from the Frankfurt School in Germany and can be traced to Marx's critiques of the economy and society. Sociologists created this theory and CRT is just a modified rehash of it.
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
God is the creator and controls everything. We must put our trust in him. I like to try to just follow one simple thing that Jesus told the Rabbis who were trying to trick him when they asked him what was the greatest commandment. Jesus replied, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbor as thyself." Unfortunately, we are all sinners and even that simple statement is very hard to stay true to, but if we all try we'll find our differences and objections will melt away.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
I cannot understand why we would promote voter fraud by allowing anyone to vote who is not verified.
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
First and foremost I would make the penalties for voter fraud very harsh. Too much voter fraud occurs in this Country and much of it can be eliminated. I know of someone who researched the last election on their own and found over 250 votes who were registered at the same address, which was a small house. That is not a hard thing to prevent with today's technology. I think photo ID's are good idea to stop a lot of the fraud. I also believe we have become lazy and we have too many days of early voting and we need to just go back to election day voting only. Mail in ballots should only be for those who actually need them such as the elderly, housebound, and military.
EQUALITY
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No. But the agitators who try to make everything about race are working to disrupt the unity of the American people.
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
Environmental laws are strict enough. Stricter laws are promoted by those who intentionally want to destroy job-creating industries.
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Agree
ABOUT YOU
What do you think is the general purpose of government?
The government was established for six reasons, which are unity, domestic tranquility, justice, defense, promotion of the general welfare of the people and securing liberty for all.
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Very Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
N\A
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I am just a regular person. I go to work everyday. I pump my own gas. I go to the grocery store. I pay bills and taxes that seem to rise faster than my wages. I'm not a career politician and do not plan to become one. As for legislative priorities in the State of Texas, Republicans have had the majority for 20 years. Yet they have failed to pass conservative and liberty-advancing reforms called for in the Texas GOP platform. My legislative priorities are to get everything on the State GOP priority lists passed and to stop helping Democrats pass theirs. We have too many career politicians who serve decade upon decade, yet never actually pass any meaningful legislation that improves the lives of Texans. They don't address these hot button issues for the sole reason of using them to raise money for their next election. This is the sole problem with our dysfunctional government. We need more citizen legislators to step up and run for office and replace the politicians who desire the power and fame of office. Our political structure that was created by the founding fathers was not created to encourage career politicians.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
Police officers have a very difficult job to do, worrying about prosecution for doing their job only limits their ability to do it.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I'm not sure where this idea of defunding the police came from. I do know that it would be a disaster. My opinion is keep the police and defund the federal government.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
The restrictions in the second amendment are for the government. Unfortunately, people have lost the original purpose of the Constitution. The Constitution was written as a contract between government and the people. Yes we need to be vigilant and make sure the people with mental problems do not have access to anything that can harm them or others, but is this primarily the government's job? It seems that this responsibility lies with family and friends which goes back to the people. To the extent any person cannot be trusted with a firearm, that means that person is a danger to society - not the firearm. We should not leave violent people on the streets and expect them not to find something they can fashion into a weapon.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
I don't remember a time that an automobile manufacturer was sued because someone ran their car through a crowd of people. No knife manufacturers have ever been sued for stabbing offenses. Why is that? Common sense shows us that a car is not responsible for someone with mental illness ramming their car through a crowd of people. When someone uses a knife to stab another person, we know that the knife isn't responsible, someone had to hold it and use it that way. The same is true with firearms.
