QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

NONE

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

Personal Property Tax is taxing what has already been taxed twice. A person is taxed when they earn the money, when they spend the money and with Personal Property Tax, when you own an item that you already paid taxes on already. Missouri Income Tax - 6% I would end this tax. Repeal the newly added Gas Tax. 1.) The people should have a say in whether or not they would increase this tax. The people were not given that chance.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I have spent 6 years on the budget committee. There are a lot of feel good ear mark programs that are not a function of government. I would take that money and use it for line items that are actually a function of Government. Roads and Bridges for example.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Choose not to answer

This question doesn't state if it is public elementary/secondary education, post secondary education, adult high school or vocational/technical schools. Multiple sources of where the tax funds are coming from. This should be a decision of the voters depending on the questions that are connected to this topic. I am a strong advocate that parents are the ultimate decision maker in a child's education. Don't like how this question is worded.

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

NONE, Freedom to Assemble, Freedom of Speech

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Mixed - People pay into Medicaid/Medicare so those should remain. Citizens should have the freedom to choose their life pathways including healthcare. Private Healthcare providers should not be forced to close for a government program.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

NONE

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

Enforce their current laws of immigrations. Currently the laws are ignored.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

There is a process, current laws, and they should be followed.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

Anyone that follows the process to become a naturalized citizen.

EDUCATION

I support school choice, including voucher programs, tax credits, charter schools, private schools, and home schools.

Strongly Agree

I am a strong advocate for parents to be the ultimate decision maker of a child's education.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

Enumeration of different classes of people further divide us as a nation.

Marriage is a God-ordained, sacred and legal union of one man and one woman. No government has the authority to alter this definition

Strongly Agree

Marriage should be returned to the church. 10th Amendment gives the states the power of licenses. Marriage Licenses started by the government in 1921 to stop interracial marriages. Government should of never gotten involved. Government can use contract law for civil unions.

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

It promotes racism.

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

Church of Christ member.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

You need an ID for everything. You should protect the integrity of the vote to prove you are the person that is voting.

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

Paper ballots - it's tangible Security of ballots, meaning a method to make it difficult to create counterfeit ballots. Full Transparency for all parties

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

It has been a slow process but every race has been able to climb to the top tier of just about every area in the US.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

I shouldn't be held responsible for someone else's actions. Especially if it was over 100 years ago.

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

I support all measures to capture the use of energy.

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

Government sole purpose is to protect our God given rights.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

??? Citizens4Spencer.com

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

Nope

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

Active Listener, Involved in the Community, Accessible

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Neutral

Good Police Officers should be protected. Bad Police Officer should not. I believe that 99% of the Police Officers are good.

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

Dumb to defund the police. Just encouraging criminals.

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

An actual education on the respect and use of guns instead of teaching the fears of guns. I teach a class that I bring in guns into my class. I teach the students to respect guns, how to safely use guns, etc. and we go shooting responsibly.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree

I don't get to sue the fast food restaurants, and groceries stores for being fat.
