QUESTIONNAIRE
RIGHT TO LIFE
Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).
Strongly Agree
I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.
Disagree
Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?
Risk of Mother's death. As determined by Mother and Doctor.
RELIGIOUS LIBERTY
Religious liberty is at risk in the United States and deserves the highest level of protection in the law.
Strongly Agree
The 1st Amendment, like all Amendments, is sacred and needs protection
Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.
Strongly Disagree
What should be the relationship between the church and the state?
The Constitution clearly advocates for the separation of Church and State however, the government must protect religious liberty at all costs
NATIONAL SECURITY
With regard to America's foreign policy, which view most closely resembles yours: A) The United States should intervene whenever freedom is threatened. B) The United States should selectively help countries trying to grow democracy and fight tyranny. C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger. D) The United States should stay out of foreign conflicts completely.
B - We should support Third World and Developing nations to fight tyranny and help them become a Democracy
I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.
Strongly Disagree
The Chinese Communist Party poses serious military, cyber security, intellectual property, and global economic threats to the United States.
Strongly Agree
What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?
I would strongly advocate for travel and immigration restrictions on countries that breed and export terrorism. in addition, I'd advocate for stronger laws to search out, prosecute and deport people in the US with known terrorist ties. we must protect the homeland and stop being afraid to "offend" others who hide behind certain aspects of religious freedom when they harbor ill intent towards this great and free nation.
HEALTHCARE
Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?
Never. People in America are protected to choose what is right for their body based on a number of factors including health, religious beliefs and simply personal choice.
What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.
C - with private healthcare being available to those who can afford it. oftentimes circumstances may prove to be unfortunate for some either for health reasons or other reasons. Having a temporary safety net is the humane thing to do but should not be sustained for life - Medicare being the exception
ECONOMY
Redistribution of income is needed to lessen the gap between the wealthy and working classes.
Strongly Disagree
The government should cut spending in order to reduce the national debt.
Strongly Agree
What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?
Simplification of the Tax Code to lessen the burden on working class people
IMMIGRATION
The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.
Strongly Agree
State and federal funds shall be denied to any public or private entity, such as a sanctuary city, that is not in compliance with immigration laws.
Strongly Agree
Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?
People who come to our country as law abiding citizens and they should go through the proper immigration channels.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY
Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.
Strongly Agree
If they follow the department policy. However, if they don't, they should be punished as any other citizen.
I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.
Strongly Disagree
I don't support redirecting funds from the police. However, I do think that additional funding should be spent on mental health and community programs, but not from the police.
2ND AMENDMENT
What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?
Only the restrictions that are already in place. Restriction on guns will never fix crime or mental health issues and any direction of blame on guns or gun manufactures is only a way for us to avoid fixing the real issue and taking responsibility for the fact that we have a crime and mental health issue, not a gun problem.
Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.
Strongly Disagree
ABOUT YOU
When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?
Conservative
Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).
I am a Christian, Gideon, deacon at my church, NRA member, Republican since 18 and the radio ads that are running are receiving positive responses and resonating strongly with my constituents.. However, the best information is how I have lived my life and testimonies of people in my community!
Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.
No
What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?
I think outside the box and just because we have always done something a certain way, doesn't make it the best way. I'm not a politician. For decades we have been sending the wrong people to DC to represent us. They have had decades to solve problems yet the problems still persist. We need need fresh faces, new ideas and actual solutions.
VALUES
Sexual orientation and gender identity should be protected classes in non-discrimination laws.
Disagree
There are only two genders, male and female! However, I don't believe that any discrimination should exist, but identifying as something other than the truth does warrant an exception.
I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.
Strongly Disagree
Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.
I am a Christian and live out that lifestyle. I am active and proactive in my Faith and both live that Faith and bring that Faith into every aspect of my life.
ELECTIONS AND VOTING
People should be able to vote without photo identification.
Strongly Disagree
What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?
Our very country is founded on integrity and we can't allow a voting system that lacks integrity. Therefore, the laws should require photo identification and proof of legal citizenship and allow citizen advocates to participate in and monitor the election process to ensure fairness
EQUALITY
Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.
Strongly Disagree
Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?
No, even though I'm sure racism exists in some manner in our country, it is not as prevalent as the media would like to believe. The media and government use imaginary division as a tool to gain power.
ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT
I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.
Strongly Agree
Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.
A - Common sense environmental laws are needed, but we see way too often that governmental agencies overreach on everything as a way to justify their role and jobs.
