QUESTIONNAIRE

RIGHT TO LIFE

Under what circumstances should abortion be allowed?

I do not support any abortions of convivence under any circumstances. Abortion should only be legal when medically necessary to protect the life of the mother.

Abortion providers, including Planned Parenthood, should not receive funds from federal, state, or local governments (including Title X grants).

Strongly Agree

I support 'aid in dying' laws which legalize assisted suicide and euthanasia.

Strongly Disagree

ECONOMY

What changes, if any, should be made to the tax code?

I support the complete elimination of property taxes. Until that gains mainstream legislative support, I believe the School M&O Property Tax is a good starting point. Funding schools by fair market-value transactions, as opposed to arbitrary home valuations, is inherently fairer.

What government spending would you reduce in order to balance the budget?

I strongly support zero-based budgeting. In every level of government, waste can only be found when we shine a light on it. We consistently pass balanced budgets in Texas. Regardless, there is always room for improvement. We shouldn't be satisfied with the budget just because it's balanced.

Taxpayer-funded public education should be guaranteed through college.

Disagree

RELIGIOUS LIBERTY

Individuals and businesses should be required to provide services even if it would violate their moral and/or religious beliefs.

Strongly Disagree

Under what circumstances can government close churches?

Government should not be allowed to close churches under any circumstances. This country was founded on Christian values and the fundamental right of the freedom of religion. Restricting that right in the name of security is inherently anti-American.

HEALTHCARE

What most closely matches your view on healthcare: A) Healthcare for all should be guaranteed and funded by the government with no private healthcare option. (includes "universal healthcare," "medicare for all," etc.) B) Healthcare insurance funded by the government should be available for all who want it, along with private healthcare options. C) Medicaid and Medicare should remain available, but no other taxpayer-funded programs are necessary. D)Tax-payer funded health care should be abolished in all forms, and Medicaid and Medicare should be de-funded.

Option C - I am not opposed to helping our fellow brothers and sisters in need. Regardless, Medicaid expansion and government handouts are exactly why we are in this mess right now. For some, it seems more profitable to stay at home and collect unemployment checks than go out and get a job. I will fight for accountability in taxpayer funded/administered programs including Medicaid.

Under what circumstances (if any) should a government, school, or employer be allowed to require vaccinations?

Making the decision to get a vaccine is a personal health decision and not the role of government to mandate. Restricting freedoms in the name of security is the slow march to tyranny and I will stand against it - especially when it comes to mandatory vaccinations.

NATIONAL SECURITY

What should the United States do to help eradicate the threat of Islamic terrorism?

To eradicate terrorism we must support our police and military. In the State Legislature, I will fight as an advocate for the Texas National Guard and local police. Defunding these groups are a threat to public safety in every aspect, including Islamic terrorism.

I support the Boycott, Divestment, Sanctions (BDS) movement to pressure Israel to withdraw from occupied territories, remove the separation barrier in the West Bank, allow full equality for Arab-Palestinian citizens of Israel, and promote the rights of Palestinian refugees.

Strongly Disagree

IMMIGRATION

The U.S. should do more to physically secure the southern border.

Strongly Agree

The Federal Government has abdicated it's responsibility to protect our borders. I will fight to give state law enforcement the resources they need, including resources to complete construction of the Texas border wall.

Who should be allowed to immigrate to the U.S. and under what circumstances?

People who come here through the proper channels of immigration, including legally filling for asylum, are the only ones who should be allowed to immigrate to the US.

VALUES

Judeo-Christian values established a framework of morality which is necessary for our system of limited government.

Strongly Agree

I support adding gender identity as a specially protected class in non-discrimination laws.

Strongly Disagree

I agree with Critical Race Theory (CRT) which asserts that the institutions in the United States are fundamentally racist.

Strongly Disagree

Briefly describe your spiritual beliefs and values.

I am a born again Christian and know that through grace alone I am redeemed. Jesus died a horrible death on the cross for my sins and made a way for me to have a direct connection to God. I believe the Bible is the inerrant word of God and it is the blue print by which our society should live by.

ELECTIONS AND VOTING

People should be able to vote without photo identification.

Strongly Disagree

What laws would you propose to change present voting practices?

I would strongly advocate in the State Legislature to restore the penalties for illegal voting back to a felony. By and large, we all know a misdemeanor is a slap on the wrist. We must do more to protect one of the most important rights of our Constitutional Republic. I will fight to strengthen confidence in our elections and protect voter integrity.

EQUALITY

Is racism a threat to domestic security in the United States? Why or why not?

We must stand against groups and curriculum meant to divide people by the color of their skin. We are all Americans and the ideas of CRT are threats to the mindset of our future generations.

Reparations should be given to people on the basis of race.

Strongly Disagree

ENERGY & ENVIRONMENT

Which comes closest to your view? A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. B) Stricter environmental laws and regulations are worth the cost.

A) represents my view. In Texas, we have an abundance of reliable energy resources. Due to environmental groups, we see a lot of well-intended regulation that just ends up hurting Texas consumers. I want to keep my community clean and am proud of the new technologies being developed in the energy sector. However, we are not just going to sit on these energy reserves right under us. I completely support using the resources God has given us. With private-sector partnerships, we can continue to find attainable solutions in our energy industry.

I support the use of hydraulic fracking to extract oil and natural gas resources.

Strongly Agree

ABOUT YOU

What do you think is the general purpose of government?

The purpose of government is to ensure that my rights are not infringed upon.

When you consider your views on a wide range of issues from economic and social matters to foreign policy and religious liberty, which of the following best describes you overall?

Very Conservative

Please provide publicly available information, including interviews and media reports, validating your answer to the previous question (other than your website).

11/29/21: On a Facebook post I stated I see two things we have done wrong in our society: We have taken God out of everything and we have allowed the government to go so far they don't even know where the line is anymore.

Have you ever been convicted of a felony or been penalized in either civil or criminal court for sexual misconduct? If so, please explain.

No

What else would you like voters to know about you, including your legislative priorities?

I am a conservative mama bear who has been fighting for our children. I want to fight for all of Texas and restore Texas back to our community values and standards. I believe we are in the fight of our lives and we need someone that is not afraid to stand up for truth and not crater to special interest groups.

CRIMINAL JUSTICE & PUBLIC SAFETY

Police officers should be personally immune from prosecution for conduct consistent with departmental policy (qualified immunity) while on duty.

Strongly Agree

I support redirecting funds from police departments to mental health and community programs.

Strongly Disagree

2ND AMENDMENT

What restrictions on gun ownership are needed to protect public safety?

I do not think we need any restrictions other than convicted felonies are not able to obtain fire arms. It is our God given inalienable right to keep and bear arms and should not be infringed upon.

Victims of gun violence should be able to sue firearms dealers and manufacturers.

Strongly Disagree
