I personally believe that no controversial issue so evenly divided should receive government funding. If half the country does not agree with an issue why should they be forced to pay for/support it??? There are plenty of charities, celebrities, philanthropists like Bill gates that can fund this. NOT the American tax payers. We are being forced to support something we are against.

This is a hard one that I can not speak for others...only myself. My Christian beliefs tell me this is wrong. The tech assisting is committing murder and the person doing so is committing suicide. I would not ask to be relieved of pain other than to ask God to take me. As a person that believes in freedom of religion and someone that does not judge I can not condemn a person who may participate. It's no different than if I were to condemn a person for not believing in God or Jesus Christ.

To save the mother's life And...in the event of rape a person should have a time limit in which to report to the police. If a time limit were set of say 48 hours it gives the young lady or woman incentive to report to the authorities and would also curb the potential for lying for the sake of an abortion. If a person is raped Levonorgestrel (the morning after pill) can be taken to prevent pregnancy and therefore an abortion would not be needed. If the heart beats at 5-6 weeks there should be no objection in taking this by either side. If a person is raped and the time period for reporting has passed there is always adoption if they do not want to raise the child. The time frame regarding rape was something my wife brought up and I felt it was a great suggestion. I've known people throughout my life that have been raped and friends who had abortions and I can tell you it often leaves scars on a woman for life and can change ones course forever. The morning after pill is an over the counter medication to be taken in less than 72 hours. A person taking it will never know if they were pregnant and therefore bypass the guilt that often stays with a person their entire life.

Everyone has the opportunity to excel or be stagnant. This is not even a rational question in my opinion. One of the wealthiest men I know came to America from Italy as a 9 year old with $10 to his name. He is a self made multi millionaire. The American dream through legal immigration like so many others.

No one likes to pay taxes but I understand certain things are needed. The problem is not so much the tax code as it is the excessive bureaucracy with all the administrative and regulatory agencies. The federal government needs to be restructured back to the original departments. That alone will not only Balance the budget but such high taxes will no longer be necessary. We The People are the board of directors. Run this country like a business and turn a profit or be fired. One of the controversial things President Trump did was to give tax breaks to businesses. I am a small business owner that has had to change product lines and re invent myself many times to stay afloat threw all the government meddling. The tax breaks to businesses allowed us to reinvest in our employees, give bonuses and grow rather than cut back. This is how a country grows and prospers yet there are those that continue to accuse him of only giving tax breaks to the rich. Real working America saw our 401K's rise, our living conditions improve and stress levels subside. We all profited from a booming economy.

I am all for the freedom of religion but what I see happening in America is a tolerance for anything but Christianity. America was built on Christian Judeo values and anyone coming to America legally is welcome to do so but I do not condone the onslaught to remove God from everything in order to appease those who find Christianity offensive.

I have had gay friends since I was in highschool and I don't judge them but the man who would not bake a cake for a same sex couple should not have been persecuted because of his beliefs. A business should have the right to refuse service. They do so possibly at their own peril but it should be their own choice. The woman that was arrested for refusing to marry a same sex couple...That was wrong and as a husband I would NEVER have allowed it.

I will not be the one that denies God...not even once! I am not afraid to speak nor will I waiver the slightest no matter how hard evil tries or how much pain it inflicts! So here was my answer I understand the separation of church and state but it goes to extremes. Controversy seems to target Christians while being tolerant to all others. If the medical industry was kept in check, If costs were brought to reasonable levels, if the government was reduced in size and kept costs down without subsidies we would not need these options. When I was growing up people worked and companies carried insurance as part of an employees benefits. It seemed to work until costs of everything got ridiculous and employers had to drop insurance. Minimal federal government, let the people decide. Universal healthcare would be great if the country was a profitable business as I said earlier. Free health care is NEVER free so a competitive system with reasonable rates so that companies can afford to included those benefits. It gave us an incentive to work, have insurance and provide for our families. Are there any models around the world where universal healthcare works? Healthcare for retirees is a no brainer because they contributed all their lives. For people who are physically or mentally unable to pay I agree with assistance but for those who can work and won't there should be time limits on any benefits and at some point discontinued as an incentive to get back to work. Being creative, being productive gives us a sense of purpose and alleviates many issues including depression and dependencies. Promote healthy lifestyles and stop allowing harmful products that help to perpetuate this ugly never ending cycle that feeds the rich and big pharma.

C) The United States has become too involved in others' policies and should remain focused on issues regarding our own sovereignty unless in imminent danger.

I agree but only based on what I read, hear and can decipher out of all the BS coming out of DC and the media.

Stay out of their lives, stop inflicting and forcing our values on other countries and there will be no reason for terrorists to come here or even exist in many instances throughout history. Our corrupt government is the reason why so many countries hate the US. The fed has been involved in illegal activities, removed leaders and installed people more in line with the current admin. We sell arms to a country with one administration and go to war with them with another. STAY OUT OF OTHERS BUSINESS and worry about Americans! Lead by example...NOT by control and corrupt dominance. To allow illegal entry gives way to rape, murder, drug and sex trafficking along with a path for terrorists to enter. The US government is putting US in harms way by allowing this. Shut it down NOW or we will shut down the federal government according to the first section of the Declaration of Independence. Immigrate here legally and become a naturalized citizen like those before us. NO room for negotiation here!

The immigration laws that have been in place for decades that require a person to assimilate to our rules, laws and requirements for citizenship are adequate. People should only enter legally, with proper vetting and documentation including reasons for entering the US. During covid all entry should have been stopped. During times of war all entry by non citizens should be stopped or closely scrutinized. If people come here, break laws or try to be a disruptive force they should immediately be deported without a chance to return.

This would have to go by speicific cases and not such a broad question. There are 2 genders and only 2. What a person does in their private life is their business but it should have no bearing on any other issues. I don't see what sexual orientation a person claims to be has any bearing on anything but their own decisions in life but I do not agree with a biological man going in a womans rest room and I don't agree with biological men competing in woman's sports.

Critical race theory is made up nonsense to create an issue that isn't there. It's used as a political platform and to cause division. Teaching this nonsense in schools should be outlawed. Teachers are there to teach academics...not indoctrinate American children to their ideologies.

I am a Christian man, a father, a husband and an American Patriot! God comes first in my life and is part of every decision I make. Someone recently asked me...How do I know that if you get elected you won't become one of the corrupt politicians, taking payoffs or voting along with others and end up part of the establishment. I asked him...has there ever been a time in your life where you were more concerned with what God thinks of you? I am at that stage and so is the world where God's opinion of me and His approval are paramount. I pray to Him daily asking him to guide me in this endeavor. We can't get on an airplane or do many other things without proper ID. The idea of voting (one of the most important privileges as an American citizen) should most definitely require proper ID and US citizenship. No exceptions!

TERM LIMITS! Balanced budget requirements Accountability penalizing the media for publishing slander or false accusations. Even for mistakes that cause another harm. This does not violate freedom of the press. It does prevent freedom to slander and destroy which is what we have now. Severe fines and penalties will force them all to properly verify and further investigate before they speak out. No financial assistance to other countries unless the budget is balanced and there is an excess available. The federal government needs to be restructured. All these regulatory agencies that go way beyond the 3 branches of government are unconstitutional. No playing God...bio and chemical weapons should be banned from the world Make it illegal for any known harmful substance to be used in America. There are many foods, drugs and chemicals outlawed in other nations and for good reason. Stop poisoning America. Reign in big pharma and set caps on meds. If you can sell a drug in Europe for $5 per pill it should be the same here. Stop big pharma from raping Americans and stop them from keeping Americans dependent on drugs. Federal governments #1 job is the safety and well being of US citizens. Restructure in a way turning more over to the states and bring the fed back in line with the original plan set down by our forefathers with a limited federal government. The alternative is to dissolve the federal government and rebuild from the ground up.

A) Stricter environmental laws and regulations cost too many jobs and hurt the economy. I am all for alternative energy and innovation but what's being done now of once again use to serve someone agenda. If you really cared about the environment stop the toxic chemicals, stop building products that are throwaway, diesel cars from back in the 80's that got 45 miles to the gallon...if you care diesel would not just be for trucks. They last longer, more fuel efficient, better for the environment that emissions from gas engines. Appliances use to last a lifetime. Now they are obsolete in 2 years from time of production and are throw aways...all products are. So if the government cared they would not allow junk in this country filling the landfills and polluting the environment. That is the biggest fraud in US history and the agenda of the moment. Do better research, give it more time to transition to the future. You can't destroy the economy by forcing changes all at once.

For the past year I have been taking courses through Hillsdale College on the Constitution, Congress, Civil Rights, Economics, History etc. I recommend that every American does. I have so far completed 11 courses, about to complete 12 and will soon start the rise and fall of the Roman Empire. It parallels the events unfolding before our eyes. These courses are free online and will give you a better understanding of how we began, how we got to where we are and how we can fix things for a better future. The system of government our forefathers put in place was brilliant and made this nation great and a bright light for the world to follow. We the People are at the mercy of these corrupt politicians that are out of control. My Christian values may scare some but remember... they temper me and hold me accountable, have taught me humility, compassion and empathy. However...I am a horseman that comes from old traditional values, tough as nails and can not be bent even the slightest to do anything corrupt or against the will of the people. We must remind them all who they work for so please familiarize yourselves with the Declaration of Independence and known that they can NOT govern without our consent. Hold them accountable and let's take back America before we lose her forever!

I understand this says (consistent with departmental policy) but too many police officers step outside those lines and a corrupt system protects them. At the same token I back the blue and there are too many instances where the police have been vilified for no reason other than someone's political agenda. We NEED the police and they NEED our support. Hold politicians accountable for fueling these issues and using them to further their careers and agendas.

Fund the police and mental health should be a separate issue. Hold politicians and big pharma accountable, stop drug trafficking, sex trafficking and much of these issues will go away

I am a member of the NRA, I am a gun dealer. I have told the NRA to STOP taking the defensive on the 2nd Amendment. It is resolute and non negotiable. I will fight for constitutional carry even across state lines with the exception of dangerous felons or anyone convicted of a violent crime or mental health issues. I lived in Kennesaw Georgia where they have a law on the books and have for many years. If you own a home there you MUST own a gun. Research it and check the crime index. Criminals will always get guns and people who wish to do harm can use a vehicle, a bomb, or many other things. Restricting guns from law abiding citizens only arms the criminals. THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS SHALL NOT BE INFRINGED!! So give it a rest and stop trying to use it to boost sales, memberships, cause fear, panic buying or furthering your corrupt careers and agendas. Gun free cities have the worst crime in the US. It doesn't work. Arm good citizens and see how fast crimes stop.
